Ordered Lamb Karachi and Achari Chicken. The food was spot on with lamb karahi being the winner though. Authentic Spices and taste. Definitely recommended.

Ordered a tawa for 4 people Tawa contained the following.... Chicken tikka, lamb tikka, sheekh kebabs, lamb chops, chicken wings, fish, lamb curry, chicken curry and tarka daal curry All the the mixed grill was cooked nicely and tasted lovely baring the fish, the chicken curry lacked abit af flavour taste wise but the lamb was absolutely mouthwatering. 👌💯🔥🔥🔥 Could honestly say, was one of the best tasting tawas in a long time, generous portions on the quantity and quality of curries, also I've been to many restaurants to try out the tawas and you usually only get two curries on the tawa but here you get three. Definitely would reccomend to try out the tawa....

Nice, clean and tidy restaurant. Can not get any better in derby. Food came within 20 mins piping hot. Full of flavour and fresh. Nothing can get better then this in derby and I came last week and this week. I go to a lot of restaurants and this is the first one I went to more then once. Fully recommend no doubt. Will come again.

Was really nice to have a nice meal. I've been to other tawa grills and this is one of the nice ones. Extremely friendly and polite staff.

Chicken Tikka and tikka roll were okay (spicy for kids) but, there white chicken karhai (medium) is amazingly yummy. The best part is "3 types of chatni/dippings". Friendly and humble staff. Quantity is adequate for the money. Highly recommended for authentic taste and will try again in near future. 😋 I think chicken tikka is too pricy, would rather prefer curries and karhai. .

Came here with my family for dinner. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. Definitely recommend to all and will be coming again

It was spectacular being here as always. I never miss a trip in a month especially to eat in Maher from London.. Staff and food both are amazing and the receptionist lady Maan Meet is the shinning star Highly reference to others

You go here for the tawa. Amazing food. Reasonably priced. Everything on the tawa is cooked to perfection! The lamb Salan was so well cooked, it tasted like a well made wedding dish! The chips were fried well (lots of shops get this wrong, but Maher’s Grill did it well!) The tawa was a great touch. We were visiting the Peak District and decided to drive to Darby to get halal food. Hence it got a little late in the evening. Initially going in as a women, it was a little off putting as, at the front, there were a lot of men sitting inside. I thought to myself self ‘maybe this isn’t a family friendly place.’ Only once I had walked to the back of the shop did I realise that people also come here with their families. The atmosphere was fine, I had nothing to worry about. Food was great. I look forward to coming back whenever I am able to.
