Hotel is fairly new so the it was nice as to be expected. The service at the front desk was good and the rooms were nice and clean. There are quite a few food choices around the hotel so finding food won't be a problem.

Front desk and supervisors have been welcoming and helpful anytime and everytime. Location is by several food venues as well as good shopping rite across the street! The event center was well taken care all through the parking and public areas. Security and local police were friendly helpful and diligent about keeping eyes on vehicles and around the facility during any hours. We were here working about ten miles from this location. I will definitely be checking back into this hotel... A very enjoyable experience, a must for anyone wanting to be close to downtown without the hectic downtown traffic and noise. 5 star rating... Would even go to a higher rating if there was one!

I'm in the hotel business, travel all over the country. YTD I've been in hotels +150 nights, Choice Diamond Member, Executive Elite with National. The night auditor (Yvonne) here is BY FAR the most friendly and helpful hotel team member I've encountered all year anywhere in the country. This hotel is clean, has great security, great service (especially Yvonne!). They're really doing a great job here.

I never had a bad experience like the one here! I came from Huntsville to Birmingham on the way to Atlanta as a pit stop because it’s too long of a drive and I get nauseous. I invite a male friend into my room. He let someone in and his friend assaulted me with a gun! I screamed as long as I could. I sprayed his eyes with disinfectant spray because he took my phone and wallet. I got my wallet but he ran off with my phone! I screamed and was dragged down the hall of the second floor. Bloodied and in pain! I tell the front desk to please call the police. She was a nervous wreck and I’m sorry but the lack of speed and coherence was appalling. She called the security before the police!!! How ineffective! Security showed up and was useless and the police followed suit. After I finally gathered my thoughts from speaking with the police the security from the hotel informed me that I would be trespassed from the hotel!!! Me!!! The victim!!! I was numb. How could I get treated this way! Actually anyone!?! No phone no wallet nothing and I was told to get out the hotel when I had absolutely nothing or nowhere to go! I was kicked out at 2/3am and the police took me to the bus station!! I will be disputing this charge on my card because absolutely no I should not have to pay !!! Horrible customer service!

We stay in hotels quite a bit and I just had to come brag on this one! Not only is it priced amazing (around $100 for a king size room with full size couch) it was CLEAN and COMFY! The room was clean, the halls were clean, the elevator was clean, everything was clean and smelled good. That’s so rare to find in hotels these days. Also the mattress, sheets, and pillows were all so comfy and cozy! On top of that Ms. Patricia at the front desk was so so so sweet and kind. I will definitely be back if ever in the area again.

Honestly this hotel is not a bad price for all the amenities provided. Best hotel breakfast I've had in a long time! Huge variety including mini waffles, big waffles, cereal, yogurt, muffins, bagels, sausage, eggs, English muffins, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, basically all the breakfast food groups lol the room was nice and clean. I loved the large stand up showers. The bed was nice and comfortable. Thumbs up from my crew 👍🏼

Here for one night. There was a member of staff learning to make towel animals as we were checking in. I made small talk with him and after we returned from dinner he put two in our room. Very good staff at this hotel. The room was clean (had an odd smell in the room, but it wasn't a bad smell -it might have been a cleaner or something). I would stay here again.

About a 15 minutes drive to downtown Birmingham. The staff is very friendly and professional, my check-in process was smooth and the room clean and cool. Complementary breakfast in the morning as well as a fitness and laundry room. I'm very happy with my choice and the hotel is recommended.

Place was decent, the rooms were clean, i would have preferred a comforter instead of the thin spread they had on the beds, the halls reeked of cigarettes and marijuana even though they had a no smoking policy. The front desk receptionist when we checked in was very rude and would deactivate our keycards whenever we left the room and when we confronted her about it she lied and said she thought it was a day to day stay when it happened within a few hours of us checking in, they made the stay kinda uncomfortable coming in and going out, when we checked out, there was a sweet older lady at the desk who was very pleasant, i guess she worked overnight, if she was on days the stay would have been so much better. 3 stars, would have been 5 without the rudeness and unnecessary attitudes from the daytime front desk receptionist.

The rooms are clean and newly renovated or established . This area of Birmingham is coming up. There is not much around for entertainment or food options but promising. Felt safe on the property and had a great staff.. Good management makes a difference

Worth the price, pleasant staff, nice hotel, sketchy location Liked · The hotel was much better than expected for the price. The staff was surprisingly very nice and welcoming. The breakfast had plenty of options, the bed was super cozy! Disliked · I was in town visiting a museum downtown and this hotel came up as a close location. It’s not in a desirable location and there are homeless people in the area. The hotel property itself, however, is the only nice property in that vicinity. (Right across from the crossplex)

I just wanted to give a shout out to Comfort Inn for doing a great job. I was greeted by Ms. Patricia On 10/15/23 who was a breath of fresh air. She was so kind and so fun to talk to. The bed was super comfy. The breakfast was hot and neatly displayed. All staff I engaged with on the morning of 10/16/23 were super professional and friendly. I'm just a guy driving cross country looking for a place to stay. I don't expect much. I really appreciate it when I come across an establishment like this that provides exceptional service. It is operated with great pride and work ethic. I am not a professional reviewer. I'm just a thankful customer who wants to recognize an exceptionally run hotel.

Not only was overwhelmed by Yvonne and her friendly she was, this is probably the nicest hotel I’ve seen across my road trip from Oklahoma to Tampa, and it was reasonably priced. And they accepted cash without making you feel like there’s something wrong with it. I couldn’t be happier with how great the service and the cleanliness was. I can’t wait to test the bed for a good night sleep

I usually don't review hotels because with my job I am in a different one every other week and I just forget but I wanna give kudos to this place. Outside of the area not being that great, the hotel is phenomenal. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the halls are clean and smell nice, lobby and breakfast room is clean and nice. The staff make this hotel from the front desk to the breakfast staff, to housekeeping, they really make you feel welcome. All were so kind, they really show that southern hospitality here. I would definitely recommend!

The room was clean and we were pleased with our visit. The linen and mattresses on both queen beds appeared to be in like new condition with no signs of pests. Breakfast was decent and friendly staff. Our room didn't have an iron, so we called front desk and housekeeping brought us a new one.

I gave it 3 stars for rooms because all we had for blankets were a sheet and what was supposed to be a comforter was as thin as the sheet. 5 stars for service, everyone at check in were very friendly. 1 star for location because it was in the ghetto, but close to the hospital.

Check in was easy and fast. The room looked nice enough however, the bathroom floor had a sticky film on it. We woke up at midnight to a full on police chase on the street next to the hotel and people playing very loud music in the parking lot. The curtain doesn't shut so its bright in the room, especially considering the 10 police car lights zooming by. The area isn't safe. Breakfast was questionable so I stuck with packaged Chobani yogurt and fruit. Lastly, a cockroach climbed on my husbands foot and my screaming and sobbing children likely disturbed the rooms next to us at 630am. Maybe they'll write a review as well. Sorry about that. My kids are scared of bugs where they sleep...

Check in was easy and front desk lady was good. We booked 2 rooms and both rooms linens was so bad looks like they never washed it and we found some dirty stuff under linens. I would never book this hotel again.

First negative review I have ever written about a business. Worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. Shortly after falling asleep around 10pm our room began to smell so strongly of weed it woke us up. Our 4 yr old could not stop coughing in his sleep. We reported it to front desk and they offered to refund money if we found another hotel with an open room (at 10pm with 2 sleeping children). We could not find another room elsewhere and had no choice but to stay. Front desk worker opened our door with his own key at 11pm when we were all asleep. He told me he wanted to make sure we were staying so that he didn't give us any refund. Very unprofessional, unapologetic, and an over all horrible experience.

Book for my son's college orientation (go Blazers), the staff(housekeeping, front desk and security) are super friendly and helpful. Our room was nice( coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge). The bath area can be a little tricky, if you are a lady and have to shave your legs, there is no where to prop your foot up(know your flexibility limits). Restaurants are in the immediate area.( We tried J Wing's eatery, they were pretty darn good.)
