The night staff are absolutely rude except from one bar girl. Waited to get served for a drink for about 15 minutes and was ignored when asked to get served by bar manager. They always give people dirty looks. They think there something there not. It's absolutely discuisting. They said my partner was being rude when all he was asking for was us to be served for our drinks. The staff in the day time are more friendly. And the toilets.... Don't get me started. Always piss on the floors, toilet seats always hanging off and no locks on them either.

This pub is opposite the Birmingham coach station. Inside very traditional 1970/80 look. Bar maid friendly pleasant. Also saw her being quite firm with a couple of scammers who came in to the bar, hats of to her. It not a go to pub for a visitor but a drop in as going by type of place, unless youโ€™re a local. As name suggests Irish roots in Birmingham Irish quarter. An unpretentious bar with good beer

Really nice Irish bar in a fab location... Apart from some roadworks outside but what can you do about that. Friendly staff and some great budget accommodation over bar. Well worth a visit

Popped in for a few minutes. prices reasonable. Staff friendly. Toilets pleasant but broken lock on one door. Enquired about music. Not been in there for years. Used to spend Sunday and Monday evenings in there some years ago singing live with Des.

We landed at The Kerryman after the Skindred gig. From the outside, it looks like your standard Irish pub, on the inside, it's clean and tidy, but I can only describe the vibe as "campsite clubhouse". Don't get me wrong, this is not a criticism, just a weird atmosphere for a pub so close to the centre of Birmingham. It wasn't too busy and definitely had a bunch of obvious regulars/locals. We easily got a table, the drinks were not too expensive and were good. (Hobgoblin, Stella and Vodka & coke) The DJ wasn't ear splittingly loud so we could all hear ourselves talking. It just felt a little bit odd. I do think they are missing a trick by not trying to match the music being played with the local gig clientele. This place would also be rammed with thirsty post gig punters, as it's literly doors down from the Institute. Will deffo visit again.

Popped in for a quick visit before a concert and was warmly welcomed by the staff behind the bar. There were a couple of unruly customers who put us off but they were very quickly spoken to and moved by the staff, who were very apologetic, to the other side of the bar which pleased us. Other customers made us feel very at home with stories and jokes and made us laugh. Would definitely pop in again if I'm local. Well done guys!!

Digbeth has its gems and its establishments. The Kerryman falls into the latter category. A large venue with Irelandโ€™s best tipples flowing from its taps. Quiet during the day, bustling on the evenings.

Poorly managed with a lot of neglect from staff and manager. I had a terrible experience. Won't recommend

Went on a Sunday afternoon for the afternoon tea group of 10... Was exceptionally quiet however as a group it didn't matter. The cream tea was absolutely faultless freshness taste choice and bottomless drink for 2 hours ๐Ÿ™ˆ... Lovely lady behind the bar. Will definitely be going back 10/10
