Lovely location with a quirky, vintage-inspired aesthetic. The food is the same as in other cosy club locations, so no surprises there. If it’s your first time - recommend the duck salad main. It’s a nice and filling portion.

Had pancakes for breakfast here hardly any blueberries and maple syrup. Requested more maple syrup as the pancake was so dry without syrup. The gentleman who welcome the guest mentioned having to charge for pancakes. The flat white was a mini latte. The south Asian lady was super nice with a smile on her face. The rest of the staff was very grumpy. Observed the welcome staff didn’t accept families with children for breakfast. However, they accepted older families after 11 am. You need to improve the quality of your food and drinks.

Great atmosphere - the decor is warm and welcoming. Food tastes good. Portion size can be massively improved, small portions - had brunch and the portion was disappointing in terms of size, tasted good. The service is probably the one key area requiring most improvement, it's slow, the person behind the counter forgot to bring a couple of orders and when a hot drink came to the table, they spilled some of it in the plate. Overall, good place to visit for some brunch however, some caution on the service and size of meals.

Been to this location five or six times now, and never had a bad experience! It’s easily my favourite Cosy Club owing to is being in an old bank. Going there always feels like an event, even if it’s the middle of the week! They’ve recently changed and revamped their menu, but I always get the same thing: the veggie/vegan burger (which is the Beyond meat patty). The waiting staff I have had have always been polite and helpful: particular shout outs to two of the bartenders who I see working there every time, who are consummate professionals. The drinks offer is also very competitive; Sunday to Thursday two handcrafted cocktails are Β£10.95, and they do not have to be the same cocktail like in many places! My personal favourites are the Cherry Bakewell and the Vanilla Espresso Martini.

Lovely meal at cosy club Birmingham. Club sandwich was good. Strawberry gin and tonic was delicious. Toilets were in basement and clearly were in heavy use so weren't in great condition cleanliness wise thay was the only down side.

Covid has turned this bar into a quiet hotspot and I'm all for it. Its no longer super crowded, but spacious with lots of seating. Bar was kind of slow given the limited people in the place, but overall great bar.

  • 3/5 Jon W. 2 years ago on Google
I have only been to this venue twice and although its very spacious with a great atmosphere i found the waiting time at the bar a bit too long as the staff seemed to be spending ages making cocktails and i think i was unfortunate that on the second occasion the young guy had only just started and was not sure how to use the till. I also heard the staff saying to each other that they were concerned that they didnt have enough staff on this particular day for the evening rush which i agreed with.

Friendly staff, good place for meeting and corporate events no covid-19 restrictions followed at corporate event finger food served, not labeled so had to guess the food being served, the staff were helpful when asked, but it would have been nice if place notes of food being served rather than guessing and or waiting for a staff member what was being served. Usually good service not sure if this is due to covid-19 related

First time at this cosy club, apparently they just went through a new revamp - did look like a vava-voom version of the others I've been to. Food and cocktails were fantastic, and the service was genuine and very hospitable! Will definitely be coming back and recommending 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Lovely place inside but the portion size of the food is ???? We ordered bang bang cauliflower and 3 tiny pieces came in a small bowl???? Kind of amazed at that. Also odd combination of things. The spicy cauliflower is served with a side of pickled slaw. Very sharp. Whole thing was weird.

Met up with some friends for some food and drinks. I've been to the one in Brindley Place which is nice, but I have to say this one is much nicer. We decided to go out on Thursday night, which is the not so new Friday night, so it was fairly busy. As my friends and I were meeting up after work, I got there a little early so bought a drink, 2 cocktails for Β£11.95 or was it Β£12.95, anyway for me as the non drinker I got a mocktail, didn't get the offer as there wasn't a huge difference, compared to the drinkers. There should be a separate offer for non alcoholic. My friends got their money's worth when they got there. Food was lovely, I opted for the vegan burger, not because I'm a vegan but just wanted to try it and it tasted like a real burger, my friends both went for the fishcake mains which looked delicious, they both devoured it. We opted for dessert, again I went for the vegan baked cheesecake, wanted to see if it was as good as mine. It wasn't, the cheesecake was very sweet and didn't look or taste baked, I've had many baked cheesecakes from different places and they tend to be creamier. The cheesecake was covered in a tangy coulis which I did not care for. Anyway we had a lovely night, although the music was very loud. The staff were super friendly, making recommendations for food choices. Will definitely be going back, maybe for breakfast next time.

Really enjoy going to the cosy club. The restaurant itself is lovely and really spacious. The food tasted amazing and came out hot which we loved and the cocktails are also really unique and enjoyable. The service was fast and we felt really looked after.

We come to The Cosy Club every year for my birthday and this year was no exception, though we have also visited in larger groups with other family members. The service, food and drinks are always impeccably good. The Confit duck leg was sensational and my Old Fashioned "go-to" drink was tasty, though I don't opt for their chocolate version

We used this friendly local pub for a work event and we were pleasantly surprised. The back room, which was ours for the evening, had a welcoming and nice decor that added to the overall good vibe. It's a comfortable, laid-back spot that handled our event well. Definitely more than just a 'decent' choice

Came here for my birthday meal however was not impressed in relation to how some of the food is cooked, especially as a few family members have food allergies, if I had been told this information prior then probably wouldn't have dined here to cater to family members with food allergies but the staff were really accommodating to ALL of my family members and the atmosphere was amazing. The food was really nice and so were the decorations. Overall, I would come here again.

Absolutely lovely find ...... you could tell many of the customers coming in we had breakfast ...we're regulars as the lady serving.... acknowledged them as friends....the decor is lovely and so was our food... I think this is one of the best places I have had breakfast in the centre of town... staff lovely and friendly 😊 ❀️

We had a private room booked with a bar and dedicated staff for a function. It was a great night, the aesthetics of the Cosy Club are lovely, it really is a lovely space and cosy. The private room we had again was great and totally separate from the rest of the establishment in that there was a curtain over the entrance to make it private. The bar area was large and well stocked, they do some great cocktails, the food was reasonably slow to come but was delicious when it arrived. They also gave us a free starter sample selection! I had the beef burger which was very good indeed, well cooked, tasty and the crispy bacon just finished it off. Based on this experience I would certainly recommend the place - the staff were also great!

Went here for a festive lunch, the food was lovely, the staff attentive and friendly, the place, aesthetically lovely, my only gripe was feeling we had to hurry, as our table was needed, which meant we had no time to chat, in, eat and out within 1.5hours!! Apart from that it was splendid.

Nice in here, but very busy considering this was before midday!! Drinks were lovely, didn’t have food in here but menu looked lovely, breakfast comes highly recommended, there are lots of gluten free options, booking a must looking at all the people in here, there are plenty of tables over 2 floors.

Brilliant table service, well monitored but not over zealous, food is good but vegetarian options are limited sadly. Despite this I like it's ambience and diligence to C19 requirements in group numbers, social distance of tables, cleaning regime makes it a safe place worth visiting for a meal and drink when in town

  • 5/5 Louis C. 3 years ago on Google

Really does what it says. Very cosy. The price is very decent for myself and my husband to have a breakfast each and extras and pancakes it come to Β£27 I was very impressed. Plus the selection is perfect catering for both vegetarian and meat lovers. The seating is stylish and comfortable. Would love to go for an evening meal there soon.

The decor is very much like the joint stock. Old birmingham blue chip financial institution turned bar. You can order from the ap. The table service is efficient. The mens toilets have the cover page of the country life sporting fit posh totty in jodhpurs. The location on bennets Hill is amazing for public transport. I quite it even though I'm more of your real ale bar. The staff are amazing as are the doormen. I recommend it for a few after shopping.

Our first time here for a date night, we booked our table and when we arrived we were greeted by a friendly chap who guided us to our table, a nice corner one, the atmosphere was relaxed and quiet, just what we wanted. I can imagine its gets alot busier and maybe abit rowdier the later you go, we went 4-6 friday night. We ordered some cocktails ( vanilla espresso martini and a cosy colada) and they came quickly, they then took our order ( thai green curry with prawn crackers and meant to be spring rolls but they had run out and she explained this and offered me some falafels instead and a classic burger, with nothing on, as my partner like the burger plain) food came quickly and was delicious, our waitress made sure everything was okay and asked us if we would like another drink, we had a cherry bakewell cocktail and a toffee old fashioned. Staff were wearing masks and kept their distance, although we had people sitting at the tables around us the tables were spaced. Overall we enjoyed our experience and will return in the future.
