This place is a little gem. It's one of Birmingham's Best Kept secrets. The attention to detail applied to the inner decor is jaw dropping. I've been there twice to listen to live music and it was a great atmosphere. I will be surely going there again.

We met a lady tonight who was the most lovely person, even gave us an umbrella. She showed us the venue and talked us through the genre. I will go back to this bar as anyone as friendly and helpful as this lady has to make this a warm and friendly place to be. Thank you lovely lady hope your venue is amazingly successful. X

Nice place for jazz lovers, always good music, not too big but good selection of beers, totally nicest stuff. Outdoor area next to the road but feel cozy. Visit their website for popups and events hosted here frequently.

Cool, hip, trendy, atmospheric, welcoming, warm, amazing staff, amazing customer service, great live music, awesome space to hire out, the list goes on! I'm always popping into rjjz because what they have they're is just truly amazing. It's a unique venue, none other like it in Birmingham.

Wonderful new venue, so excited to frequent this lovely rustic jazz venue. Met the owner. A wonderful friendly lady that I hope will have nothing but success !! Drinks are very reasonable & atmosphere was great. Large enough to have a great vibe, but small enough to feel quaint, friendly & warm. Loved it !!! So needed in Birmingham !!!

I can't comment on this place on regular nights, as I went to a private function here. I imagine it could have a nice atmosphere on live music nights. Drinks were a bit pricey and the owner seemed a bit grumpy. One toilet inside for the ladies, but it was nice and clean. Gents outside in a porta loo.

An absolute Gem of a venue! I have had the great fortune of visiting the Jazz Cafe frequently in the last year and can say with certainty and much gratitude that both the owner and the atmosphere are wonderful to be around, whether it be for Salsa Mondays or Soul Sundays (now on Friday!) or a personal, family celebration.. RJJZ is one of the best venues in Birmingham and definitely worth a visit! Much love, Chris Da'Costa
