Breakfast here is so yum. Good portion sizes, food is always cooked to perfection and staff in the morning are always lovely 😊 Perfect way to start the day. 🤌🏻🍳🥓 Came back yesterday evening to try the burgers 🍔 We Ordered 2 different beef burgers both were delicious The only think that we didn't enjoy were our mocktails. They were supposed to be apple mojitos with mint, lime & soda but they just Tasted like someone had squeezed fresh limes over ice no taste of apple mint or soda.

Very unprofessional manager and service. We had the afternoon tea for 4, booked online with a deposit. Seated, explained we had booked. We mentioned there were vegetarians in the group, the so-called manager said he would come back to explain what we would be getting, but never did. We were bought out 2 meat and 2 vegetarian teas, but required 3 veg, 1 meat. Sandwiches were very small. The cheese and pickle ones, had a liquid pickle dripping out of the very small pieces. They ran out of the pesto and avocado ones and was given more of the cheese and dripping pickle ones. Their hot drinks machine was missing a part so we were unable to order hot drinks that required hot milk! If it wasn't for the fact that we'd paid a deposit, we would have walked out. This place maybe good with their usual pub grub, but their afternoon tea is terrible. We asked to takeaway what we did not eat and was given foil paper to take it home. Not even a bag to put it in. Never again!

Great value for money on the 2 4 1 cocktails. Side ordereson food came super fast and were great accompany to the drinks, nice portion sizes too. It would have been good to have had sauces come out with the food as we had to ask at the bar for these. Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, willing to help.

This beautiful restaurant is now open for business. Go along and support your local business they desperately need your help. You will notice this excellent restaurant is always very busy so preferably book in advance.🙏🙏🙏

A full English is one of those dishes that’s not hard to mess up, however this was definitely not worth the money. The original full English and the vegi one were both disappointing, barely any baked beans were given, the vegi sausages were so dry and off putting. We made slight alterations to our orders, nothing major, however this was also messed up. Only good thing was the pint. Would definitely come back for drinks, but that’s about it.

This place is straight from the canal bridge, behind the International Convention Centre. Very nice pub with lovely cocktails - specially 'Atomic Zombie' and 'Under the Sea' (and you get 2 for the price of 1) :D Loved the ambience and the food. They serve good vegan starters too. Very well lit with lights and nice friendly staff. Found the tables a bit small as we were a group of 6 and they joined 2 small tables to accommodate us. But overall very nice experience.

Visited slug and lettuce for lunch with my partner. On arrival waitress was friendly we sat where we wanted as it wasn’t too busy . When ordering they had ran out of cod.. strange but ok Then they said we couldn’t have the peach cobbler as they didn’t have peach .. ridiculous Lastly they had no apple juice for my drink which was absolutely ridiculous!! The food was not great either I was forced to have scampi and chips as there was no cod !! When starters came there was no cutlery given, I personally would expect for such a great location their standards would be a little more refined. Not planning a visit here again !

Really good food 😋 and not too expensive. We ordered on the App. Service was great and very attentive. Highly recommend giving it a go. Outside seating if it's a nice day.

An instagram-mable restaurant offering you good food. Ambience is too good. To get a seat outside, prebook your time. We went for a brunch and everything served was good and well presented. Will definitely visit again to try other options from the menu, especially the desserts for their superb and exciting presentation!

We had a fantastic time...the Disney theme was a bit random for a Christmas party, but it was a lot of fun!!! Gwen was brilliant - the service from everyone was amazing. Would definitely recommend it to friends - I was really impressed how smoothly everything ran; great team work from everyone there xx

We had a bottomless brunch & Gwen was amazing. She was so lovely and was very attentive when bringing our drinks. We definitely had our moneys worth. She 100% deserves a pay rise. And we will definitely be coming back in the future if possible. Thank you Gwen ❤️

Food is nothing special but I love the atmosfere in this place. It is located close to the canal bridge. Tacos are not recomended, are not nice at all, but as I said, the scenario worth it. In the weekeds is too crowed and sometimes it's dificult to find a table without booking. Nice staff.

We had a great experience in the slug & lettuce. The bar man, Rob, was amazing. We were out for a 21st birthday and we were a very indecisive bunch and Rob dealt with the situation effortlessly. He couldn’t do enough to help us. Thanks to the brilliant customer service we will definitely be returning.

Food was lovely. I went for the Tapas. Some things not available but what I had was beautiful. We could order on the app which was very good. I would recommend the cocktails 2 for 1 on most. Service and decor were good. Clean well maintained toilets.

Went to the slug and lettuce Birmingham as a group of 10, including children, to celebrate a birthday. We had the endless lunch/picky bits menu. We found it to be exceptional value, 2 drinks, order as main food plates as you can manage and desserts-we had a throughly fantastic afternoon. The venue was immaculately presented, the food was delicious, cocktails magical and the service outstanding. We were served by Jess who went over and beyond, nothing was too much trouble. She was super attentive and very accommodating. A special mention to the manager, whose name I didn’t get, who was equally as fabulous and joined my 2 year old on the floor to complete a sticker book. Highly recommended.

So most tables empty but reserved. Not a good start. Managed to get a table as became free after guests finished and left. Drinks and service quite good when going to the bar with a little que.. food seemed to be pot luck had the £28 platter of 5 plates. NO piggies in a blanket (poor start) so ordered among other things 2X skewed crispy king prawns. Mine was very crispy very poor not keen on chicker skewers but they saved the day As being very nice

Good location but my house breakfast was cold (except for hash browns) and a lot of plate space was taken up by two large cold and soggy mushrooms, which were minging. I did try eating one of them. Also I requested the free bread bun option but they don't serve butter. Who wants a dry bread bun?

Popped in for breakfast and decided to give myself stiff arteries with the bacon and chicken pancakes. Really enjoyed it, nice and quiet in the morning too! Quick service as well nice to be there sober for once. Only criticism would be... Use super thin crispy bacon and it'll taste better and probably cook even faster.

We visited on Monday evening and overall it wasn’t great. My friend had booked so I waited at the entrance to be seated. I was ignored for a good while with several staff blanking me. The guy who did greet me and sit me down was lovely though; super polite and friendly. There was a problem with the table (our fault) but they were quick the rectify this for us and give us a bigger spot. Once it got to ordering it when downhill. Our food arrived well before most of the drinks did. We waited at least half an hour for our first drinks. Food was incredibly disappointing, even for a chain like this. Chips were super greasy, my rare steak was medium (nearly well at the ends), my onions rings were forgotten and I paid £2 extra for the most pathetic extra of calamari I’ve ever seen. To top of off, when I tried to get the attention of a guy who seemed senior to ask for a steak knife (2 of us had steak and neither was given a knife) I saw him dramatically pause his walk and roll his eyes. If we weren’t celebrating my friend I’d have complained there and then. The plates and glasses piled up, but no one was clearing the table. Eventually we cleared it ourselves by moving the plates and empties to another dirty table. 2-4-1 drinks makes this place appealing, but expect subpar food and service.

Amazing food, fresh. Some staff look a little bit lost, they needs more guidance but the manager is lovely. The design amazing!!!

We popped in here for lunch on a Wednesday and there was lots of empty tables. The staff were quite pleasant, though not many behind the bar at that time, but was not busy. My first choice of soft drink could not be found so I opted for ginger ale. Food was really lovely and arrived quickly. I ordered side dishes and they were an ok size and one came with on a lovely, fresh bed of lettuce. The atmosphere was fairly ambient and not noisy at all. Would definately go there again. I liked the lips that were on the walls

Only popped in to catch up with some friends as we were passing. It was busy as it was Saturday night, but managed to get a table in the heated garden and ordered on the app. Good 241 cocktails.

LOVE the decor of this particular slug and lettuce! Absolutely perfect place for a girls afternoon. Food is always great. Cocktails are always amazing and they always have a 2 for 1 on certain cocktails on the menu so great value. Located in a beautiful part of the city, Brindley Place, right above the canal line. Staff always welcoming and friendly. Tables cleaned quickly. Tidy venue. Absolutely recommended a visit.

The slug and lettuce was okay good wise, nothing special though. The interior decor could do with sprucing up a bit and it definitely needs a fresh coat of pain, actually a total refurbishment wouldn't go a miss. All the tables inside could all do with a refresh and the tables outside wobble a lot. One of the tables inside even has tape to keep the side on, oh yes and my folk was absolutely disgusting as it was not washed properly (look at the attached photo). The food here did taste nice though, so no complaints there.

Expensive drinks but cocktails are 2 for 1 at times so if you like cocktails that makes it better value. Food isn't badly priced and portions are pretty well sized neither too big or too small. Service was quick with all staff being friendly and helpful, and atmosphere is really nice. Ordering online is simple. Definitely a lot busier than other venues I've visited, but it's good to see that again! Well worth a visit.

Foods and drink were lovely and our waitress was great. Nothing was too much trouble. We did sit and waited for about 20 mins until we realised it was not table service. Will know for next time though
