Some good things happens accidentally, and that's how we found this place. We were simply running from the rain and end up here as our first choice for food have been closed for renovation. We took meal deal (two main dishes for 9 pounds), machos nachos and beer. Sausages with potato mash was something simple, fish and chips quite good. Nachos snack was something really interesting, we liked it a lot. Overally, food was simple, decent food. Price of beer friendly and service have been fast (the place at that time haven't been busy).

Good pub grub and a great atmosphere. I haven't tried a lot of the menu, but everything I have was very good and a reasonably priced City Centre pub. Still has that good old 'Pub' vibe and the venue itself is very spacious. An absolute must if you're stuck waiting for a train but don't want to pay an arm and a leg for a coffee in the hustle and bustle of the train station.

It's pretty grim here. Dirty with a lot of strange people. One very drunken man kept harassing a female friend with his rubber chicken. Toilets looked like a crime scene. Drinks weren't even cheap so no idea why anyone would come here. Staff were OK but that's the only slight positive. This place is so filthy I definitely wouldn't eat here. Had to clean our own table when we sat down.

Handy pub very close to New Street station. It always has the football on, they serve your standard pub grub, prices are reasonable, staff are friendly. It does feel a bit edgy at times!

A bit grim, toilets very outdated with poor washing facilities and unsightly for a m & b pub, very, very hard to get served with lack of staff, a little attention to detail with eye contact for those waiting would be great. The odd annoying customer. A quick passing place if your lucky to get served. Other pubs have stepped up, the railway is in the championship relegation zone.

A really basic boozer that feels like a throwback to the 80’s, the food is ok, standard chain, fills a hole kind of grub. The selection of beer was limited and there were no local ales on which was very disappointing. This could be so much more…

Popping in here on a date on Wednesday, the two ladies behind the bar were funny and super helpful. Meat feat pizza was banging, drink prices reasonable. Would definitely come back

We came in here to watch the match as there was Β£3 pints advertised inside and outside.paid for the first drink then on the second the barmaid said it's gone back up to it's original price as the till was down.the manager was called and said she needed to call her manager to solve this.i settled for 2 pints at thee quid each but as told I would have to pay the original price for the next ones.the girl serving me was nice and was clearly embarrassed for having to call her boss.I paid for the next drink at full price as it was close to the end of the match ,we then left.

Not the cleanest of places ever, which is surprising after being there at just after 11 in the morning. However, I don't know why, but the burgers they produce are amongst the best I've ever had. Easy top 3.

A nice quiet pub local the the station. Perfect. A little old school decor but really nice and cosy. Had one drink here before moving onwards. Staff were welcoming and I was served quickly. Good atmosphere.

Good hot hearty breakfast very well priced. The chef is passionate about what she does and it showed in the food. Try this pub before your train trip, you won't be disappointed.

Went here for a cooked breakfast which was very impressive, I opted for an Irish breakfast which is the same as an English breakfast. The ingredients used were very good quality and cooked right. The staff were brilliant and prices were good value.

This was a fantastic pub to go drinking at, with a stylish, classic design! I appreciated how plenty of decorations are themed around trains, the entrance is suitable and the bar is well-presented. The staff were friendly and I had a sweet strawberry cocktail at a reasonable price, situated at a clean table on curved leather seating!

Had a brilliant time with friends at this pub. Thank you to the bar team and to Liam who was great and made the whole group feel welcome. Would come again, especially as it is so close to the train station.

Stopped by to watch the Commonwealth games after an afternoon shopping. Quiet early Tuesday evening, lovely bar staff, good beer, clean toilets. Bar snack was good too

Really lovely traditional bar, great pub food with a friendly atmosphere close to the main railway station (new street station). Bar prices are affordable and the pool table is definitely my personal favourite aspect of the bar, well maintained. The bar staff are especially friendly, 10/10 recommended if you're looking for a traditional British pub.

Literally I had the worst food in my life in that place. The food took more than 30 minutes. The burger was burned to charcoal black (the waitress got shocked too and immediately changed it after waiting 20 more minutes). I ordered smothered chicken and what I got was reheated, old, half chicken breast topped with un-melted cheddar (the waitress did nothing except apologizing and saying this how we serve it πŸ™‚ ). Also I ordered mac & cheese, but what I got was small bowel of mac soaked in butter topped with pieces of the same old chicken they had that day with burned garlic bread (the waitress did nothing except apologizing again and said that's our mac & cheese πŸ™‚ ). They had no salads for unknown reason, but they served me two old side salads with the orders. Anyway I'm reporting that complaint to the website, but I hope they give a ****.

A quick pit stop after flying into the Airport early doors. Initial confusion about ordering as menus said you could do it from your table but no details on how. After going to the bar to order I was greeted quickly and efficiently with food arriving piping hot and presented lovely. Would definitely come back next time I'm in Birmingham.
