went here on Tuesday evening with my friend as most places were closed and also attended the Friday before, they have a policy for no drinks outside the entrance when smoking outside, my friend challenged this at first but then we agreed and went to smoke, but then a security guy was asking my friend questions about her country it seemed like they was having banter and possibly from the same country to, he was asking her what words meant that he knew of her language and then out of nowhere pushed her to the ground and I was trying to stop him only to be also pushed down with her and had to tell him not to hit her, I don't know if he was under the influence or why such a thing had to happen it was completely unprovoked. had an amazing time there otherwise they banned her from coming back but not me.and all bar staff and security and door staff were kind and polite.. but would not recommend to anyone since this happened, absolutely unacceptable.

Nice place to go after all clubs are closed in the morning and u stil wanna go have some fun💯🤣🤣🤣🤣

Terrible attitude from the "bouncers". I'm 39 and didn't have ID, I can deal with that, Horrible attitude from the bouncers, I can not. I was walking away and they started goading me, is this really the sort of people you want working at your venue. I'd advise anyone to steer clear of this establishment. Looking at a lot of the reviews on here Im surprised they have any customers.

Asked for a pint of tap water after paying for a pint of lager and entry fee to the venue. Had to argue for a good..... long...... while just to get a 'small' glass of tap water. The bar staff said 'they hadn't seen me before' and after I asked to see the 'manager' they would apparently say the same... that 'they didn't see me buying a drink' so questioned serving me a simple tap water for a long time 🙄 The legal requirement as set out under the Licensing Act, means that all venues that serve alcohol in England and Wales must ensure that customers have access to free water. The same applies in Scotland.

The and bar staff are rude. Don't know when to stop serving people when thay are very drunk when thay need to learn the duty of care to customers. The security was even didn't even let one of my pals in last night they looked at his id and said it was fake and they didn't even id a lot of the people on the night so one rule of one and another for someone else It's going to be the last time I would be going there in a very long time.

Went here for late night drinks due to most places being closed early the place did not smell very nice like fryers even had to wash my coat the following day. The bar staff are not very pleasant and in addition a member of staff took my partners mobile at first I did not know they were staff so I tried to take it back and they then claimed to be the owner of the bar however no uniform or management attire so I tried to take it back again I had to introduce him to my partner to get his phone back even when I offered to unlock it infront of him and I was on the phones wallpaper. Obviously expressing I wasn’t happy verbally, we were then asked to leave so was basically kicked out for nothing and why they had his phone in the first place im unsure of. I feel with better staff conduct and improved management styles this could be a really nice bar and of course cleaner. I would take the reviews into consideration and not go here.

Absolute s***hole bouncers are high on steroids and very angry. Abusing woman and assaulting people leaving avoid

Always liked this place although hadn't visited for about a year but recently visited again last Friday night with my friend. Had a fantastic night here! The guy and lady security on the door searched my friend and myself before entering which made us feel safe. The bar staff were all friendly, even won on Play Your Cards right with the hilarious Pam Catz !! The only downside is the loo's sadly but still had a great night and was there well into the early hours!! Will be returning very soon !!

Ive been coming here for yrs. had the most horrible incident in here tonight. Mike tkd me because my friends r younger im nouncey. As a victim of SA as a child it was heartbreaking., apparently he doesn’t like me because i “talk too much”. As a patron of missing, sidewalk , glam n village its disconcerting. Dont have ppl who r clearly not lgbtq working in a “safe place”. Truly horrible experience ruined my night

The club was okay but i left my jacket last week. Had to pay entry to go ask the bar cause the cloak room lady couldnt give two f’s. The manager was so rude, I literally asked so nicely and he is giving me attitude for literally no reason. Hes going “im not going now you can clearly see there is only two of us on bar” im sorry but excuse you? I said can you ask someone else or maybe the manager he straight up “no” and then walked off. He came back and was just like “wait here”. I get being busy but why are you being rude. Anyways some lady gave us a random jacket and said it was the only one left im sorry but ITS BEEN 7 DAYS how are you telling me its gone?? Like you literally use tickets so why are you giving random jackets to people. Huge lack of customer care. Bouncers rude as always and 1 toilet in the ladies bathroom. DO BETTER.

Been refused entry by an incompetent manager, ruined my night, would highly recommend going else where. Mr I have a little todge refused to talk to me and discuss the situation

HORRENDOUS PLACE !!! my good friend marni paid entry and got refused at the bar because of a vile manager named Brandon. He was extremely rude and sarcastic, he was also kicked out with no explanation… and he also refused a refund after paying £5 per entry until one of our friends demanded so. We are loyal customers there and will not be returning to this venue. Don’t come here there are disgusting management team who do not know how to run a venue correctly. As somebody who works in the industry I know how the correct procedures that should be done and this was not it. Very appalling.

Doormen bring their underage siblings to work ( disregard of licencing law) and also allow people to be discriminated and feel unsafe (another disregard of licencing law). Will put in complaints to Birmingham Council. No b.s

awful. out of 5 people, they only patted down and checked 1 person in our group who was not a cis male then proceeded to ask only them what their pronouns are. they were told it’s they/them but they obviously had different objectives as when questioned why only they were asked and patted down, the bouncer said it was “for HIS own safety”??? . in the end there were only about 20 people in there, 15 of them were off their nut on drugs. awful environment. don’t recommend no matter how desperate you are for a night out.

As per other reviews, disgusting, unprofessional and overly aggressive behaviour from the "doormen", I'm a 5ft girl and had the largest man there pushing me when I had not displayed any threatening behaviour, goading the group and laughing at me when I said they did not have a right to be physical with me. I used to like glam but I will not be going there again, considering filing a police report as the bouncers got physical with me and actually pushed me as I tried to go back inside to get my coat, he wouldn’t let me back in with no reason as to why, also very very rude

spent £12 to get in, no sink in the bathroom covered in a black bin bag with a sign stating out of use, there was urine all over the floor (lt was the same last Sunday), don’t plan to visit here, yes it was the last place open!, better use the hotel bar! or go home, there was repeated music with no DJ,£8.30 for doubles, second time I visited, I won’t go again, it was dirty and one of the staff was rude and the security reprimanded him, the security was great and don’t reflect the place,

Last night a doorman told me that no more people are coming in. He then said if I gave him 40 quid I could get In. With my mates already inside I had no other choice but to pay up or go home. Outraged at this and I'm leaving a one star review.

Glam always good night but one fella (Martin) had to scoop low with his comment felt really unpleased with his comment really stupid as it could have been taken into serious consequences if I hadn’t intervened and told my friend to ignore it I spend money to enter and pay full for my expensive drinks in glamorous bar always when attending to be respected it’s only fair to show respect !! I’m sure management will pay closer attention to all people’s backgrounds beliefs and cultures.

From the new door staff to the pay booth where the beautiful drag Queens were standing to all the way downstairs to the bar staff and seating area male toilets floor staff was perfect all round 👌🏽 thanks to you guys for turning this venue around its so much better now😀 👏🏽💯 Thanks for a comfortable & wonderful Saturday night ill be back soon 😀👍🏽🙌🏽🌈

Great place, good vibe, mix of all sorts of people. Like how late it stays open after all mainstream places close.
