What a pleasantly weird place. Never been to an Indian/Brewery - in one! Very unique! Fantastic concept! The food looks and smells amazing. It's like a street kitchen, but with craft ale on tap! Had we not have eaten before getting there, I'd have had the Mixed Grill, which looked big enough to share, with a side. We had the Bombay Honey golden pale ale, 5% and a couple of cheeky shots! Very reasonably priced, both drinks and food! Good service and friendly staff!

A very nice place, casual but with a clear own identity. Food and service are overall very good and incredibly good value for the money. Tried a few of the larger platters and a couple of their own beers. Meat dishes were nice and it's very refreshing to find an Indian restaurant that servers something different from Cobra or Kingfisher. Their own beers are definitely better, maybe they can't compete with the best craft beers, but they certainly complement the food very well.

Very novel as a brewery tap and eatery. About 11 craft and keg ales, all on an Indian theme. Such as IPA, Indian Summer, Bombay Honey etc Indian decor inside, see photo's. Seating outside. Situated under the railway arches of Snow Hill Station on Livery St. I Was unable to try the food as this was only a quick visit en route elsewhere, but certainly worth the visit. And worth another visit again. No disabled access that I can see.

Perfect. The best Indian food available in Birmingham at this price point. Can easily eat for 20 quid and be full - the food is fresh, cocktails are tasty and a bargain at around £7-8 each, the ambience is good, the service is terrific. Have been twice in the last week and will be back very soon. Also super vegan and gluten free friendly menu so those with dietary requirements don't have to be excluded or settle for only one option.

Very interesting and different kind of place. Nice beer, some of which is their own brew. Interesting selection of food. though it was slightly limited and the menu does it no favours. Guys, you really need pictures on the menu to help the newcomers out. Had good beer and good food. Seating not the most comfortable if you are staying a while though to be honest, but that wouldn't put me off hoping back. Also have take out beer packs of their own ale. Overall very enjoyable experience.

Was very well looked after by Alisha and the team on both visits. Excellent beer and some of the best Punjabi style food around. Highly recommended.

Very unique and exciting place to visit. The decor was India street vibes. Food and the drinks are priced well. Hopefully they don't change now I've said that. The cocktails were strong and also 241 🙈 and the food was delicious. As always I had to order more than I needed so boxes were made available. The staff were very helpful, bar staff seem very knowledgeable about the brewery. Will be returning!

Busy, buzzing casual dining and bar. A little walk out of the centre but worth it. Definitely book, we were lucky to be seated at 4.45 on Saturday. Good selection of craft beers, but it's the Indian food that's centre stage here. Chicken on the bone curry was rich with slow cooked flavour and relatively mild with plenty of whole spices (I'll ask for a few extra chillies next time). Keema and peas similarly delicious, I'd guess hand chopped lamb mince giving a soft texture with perfect seasoning and spice. Noticeably popular with younger folks of Asian heritage, a good vibe, good food and good beer

Food excellent, beer good but it took three selections from the menu before I found one they had. Service friendly but a little slow. Will go again.

Some of the best food and beers I’ve had in Birmingham. Great quality food very reasonably priced. Staff were very efficient and kind. Would go back in a heart beat, shout out to Nab!

Visited at lunchtime with work, so I can't comment on alcohol, but the food was amazing, so tasty. Loads of vegan choice too, suits every palate. Will definitely be back & on a non work day so I can try the drinks too!

Gorgeous food and a lovely restaurant. The staff here will make you feel very welcome and at home, they can’t do enough for you. 10/10 would recommend. I also love how you can see the food being prepared and cooked as I’m usually very fussy but had no complains about this place!

Seriously, this place is outstanding. It is quirky, vibrant, funky and just a whole lot different: in a really good way. It's a super special place where you could bring your family or a hot date! Nabhi and his crew are friendly and helpful & create a laid back, almost hosting a party atmosphere. And then we get to the beer and food: it's REALLY good. The sort of food and drink you think about a few days later and wish you were back there eating & drinking it. What a find! I can't encourage you enough to go, try it, it's worth the visit and you'll find yourself returning. I'm intending to for sure! Thank you, The Indian Brewery Team, you've really cracked it: the atmosphere, the food, the beer, the service, it's perfect! 👏🏼 🙏🏼🕉

I can't disagree with previous reviews about the decor but the food, forget it. Butter Chicken is sweet and tastes awful. Asked for spicy and came out bland so asked for green chillies. Get the bill and they charged me for the chillies. Summary if out want an over priced meal, go here. If you want some decent food look around the corner and you will find a really nice place!!!

Researching good food and beer in Birmingham this place popped up and it stood out straight away. We were very impressed. Cool setting under the arches and a friendly vibe inside with some longer tables for sharing. Food was delicious and they have a brilliant beer selection. I had the curried cod which was really good.

Brilliant food. Had Big chops and Cod bites with curry dip. Both 10/10, with the Cod bites shading it. Superb value with the (Sunday-Tuesday) offer they had on. Will visit again.

It was a surprise when bumping into this restaurant. My friend and I were on our way walking to the Arena for All England, then we sensed the superb smell from this place and decided to pay a visit Masala chai is a must try, and I love how it was served with a biscuit. Even though small but you can see the delicacy within Butter chicken was also a classic meal to have, the flavour was a bit too spicy for us. But I still considered it a delicious one. Staffs were all very friendly and helpful. Recommend to all

Visited a few weeks ago for a drink after we saw their stand at the good food show. Came back as a group tonight and really enjoyed it. Beer first; cold, crisp, fresh, well look after, spot on. Can recommend the Birmingham Lager, Pekok and Bombay Honey. Food was impressive. I had the Cod Roti Wrap and Keema fries, so nice. The prices are incredible reasonable for Birmingham, and considering we later paid £7.40 for a pint of flat warm beer at the O2 Academy it really shows how good this place is. Cocktails are great too. Recommend the Slumdog. All in all, great place for a drink, great place to eat.

Lovely place for Indian street food style under the arches next to the back entrance to Snow Hill station. Good range of beers, with the Birmingham brewery beers the best value. Nice atmosphere and great service. Food is on the spicy side so remember this when ordering!

met with a group of friends was very quiet due to plan b restrictions coming in, so did feel for them but service food and drink was all first class. Very laid back casual dining, exactly as you would expect from the image they portray so dont expect waiters in crisp white shirts etc. Food is amazing and really good value, and the vegan options are incredible. Very Spacious inside with a good vibe recommended

I ordered the cod bites, keema and peas, butter chicken, plain naans, a big plant and a naughty chicken. Overall the food tasted good and the staff were friendly. This place will definitely be on my list if I ever visit Birmingham again.

The Indian Brewery at Snowhill is a short distance from the city centre but we'll worth the walk. The Snowhill site is situated in the railway arches and has a bar stocking the beers from the brewery and a kitchen with an eclectic mix of Indian dishes. I went for the lamb kebab big naan and a pint of the IPA and the combination was amazing. Great beer and delicious food made for a truly excellent visit. I would encourage anyone visiting Birmingham who likes either beer or Indian food to pay a visit.
