Great and friendly atmosphere. The bar staff were friendly/jokey which is also a boost. The clientele of the pub was awesome, because they're all locals which make you feel welcomed into Britain's second city. Not one thing I could think about as a complaint. If you come to Birmingham, I recommend here fully.

Only just come across this place after staying in the city for a few days, first impressions were great, we went in a couple of nights and must say the staff were really friendly and welcoming, the vibe was fantastic and folks in there just want what everyone wants a good night out without the hassle, our intentions are to pop in at least once or twice a month, this boozer is recommended so if you've not been go take a look I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Cheers to all at peakys see you again soon!

The pub uses the name of peaky blinders to cash in. The place needs a good clean, toilets are also horrible. I had to send glass back as it still had another person's lipstick on. Staff seemed alright. Dont think I will return as its too rough for women.

Extremely rude barman who was annoyed we were only ordering one drink, not hospitable in the slightest. As other reviewers have said, the toilets are disgusting, and the overall cleanliness of the place is lacking. They’re obviously not happy to receive new customers! Definitely avoid, the pub has nothing to do with β€œPeaky Blinders” and as others have said, pubs like The Old Contemptibles will give you a much better experience

As pub was shut at this time, Monday at 8:30pm i could see behind the bar through the front window as waiting for a bus outside i could positively see rats running along the bar where the drinks are served around the beer taps & behind the bar on the floor going behind the fridges. In all honesty i would definitely stay away from this place.

I was only there last Friday whilst waiting for the bus. There was a karaoke playing and the singers were not that great, but everyone rallied round and sang with them. It helped them a lot. It was just fun seeing everyone happy. And in these times! Bar staff quite friendly too. I'll be going again. πŸ‘ŠπŸΎ

Surprised by how great the atmosphere was here on a Sunday. There was about 20 of us from dudley popped in for a quick one on way to watching the boxing, ended up staying for quite a few and we went back after the boxing aswell. The staff and punters were all a great laugh and welcoming, we ain’t from the city but they made us feel right at um. Will definitely be coming again. If they don’t mind the noisy buggers from the Black Country coming back that is lol . Cheers for a great Sunday afternoon/evening

The place discrimates against disabled customers. One member of our party is reliant on a mobility scooter. As soon as she entered the premises the manager approached and rudely told her she wouldn't be able to come in with the scooter , and that she would have to leave her scooter outside, despite being told that it would fold down and be kept out of the way. Other than that the place was a grotty. No soap in the toilets...Avoid, especially if you are reliant on mobility aids.

Great old fashioned pub in the heart of brum friendly bar staff and cheap pints. Way better than those snobby bars up by colmore row or broadstreet

staff looked annoyed and wasn't nice at all. the place itself was quite dirty, sticky tables and generally unkept. such a shame cause it could be a really cool place. wouldn't go back.

I would say avoid. Go to the black country living museum instead in Dudley if you want to feel some of the peaky blinders spirit.

So sorry to say was so looking forwards to visiting. Bar staff very grumpy , unhappy that a group of us on a hen do came in . Glasses were dirty, drinks slammed down on the bar. No loo roll in ladies . Di was very good and accommodating. Drink prices reasonable. Lady on bar was swearing at customer. Not great service. I’m sure that the order of peaky blinders would be discontinued

Here's a little bit of obscure television trivia: This establishment is named after Peaky Blinder, the main character of the hit SBS original 'Peaking Blindly'. As far as pubs go, Peaky Blinder was nice. They have a strict no kids policy, so there are no cheeky minors. I ordered their special, the Sneaky Cider, but the bartender gave me the wrong order, so I had to give a speedy reminder. The toilets were a bit dirty though, especially after I was through with all of them.

Nice basic pub, plenty of Peaky Blinder memorabilia on the walls. Well kept Guinness and not expensive.

We couldn’t get into the nice part behind the secret door, the rest was boring and not welcoming, we left for the better
