Was a good pub but since being taken over has gone down hill. The traditional front bar is ruined by two huge screens playing football. £6.50 for a pint of ale! Garden was shut. No atmosphere unfortunately. Save your pennies and drink at home.

The new owners have done a wonderful job of restoring this pub to have a more Victorian vibe. The garden is a sun trap again, with covered areas too and the beers are fantastic. It's like going back in time, paying a reasonable price for a pint and gathering with locals in the sunshine. Wonderful!!

Is that a moose head hanging above the door? One thing Prince of Wales doesn’t lack, is character. The 19 Century building is a leather bound, cove of dimly lit wooden rooms. The walls are decorated in places and people from Birmingham’s past. One of the rooms still has service bells located just above its bench’s back rests. In the beer garden there is a mass of additional seating. What was unexpected was the undercover Polynesian style bar area. It’s bloody huge and decorated to reflect the warmth of the tropical culture. Food is courtesy of Cantina. A selection of vegan dishes to sample as part of their tasting menu. These were great to snack on. Excellent complements for the many fine ales The Prince of Wales has on tap.

Very spacious and covered beer garden out back, with its own bar. Great pub grub too, vegan-friendly and different from the usual offerings. Good place for a group get-together.

Great for session musicians. Friendly & helpful staff. Desperately needing an upgrade, which may have happened by the time you read this

Nicely decorated and that's about it. The beer selection isn't the best, but it is one of the most expensive. Almost £6 for a Guinness... Small bar, small cosy room, outside is spacious and modern but why they have gone for fires at certain tables rather than outdoor heaters at all of them is beyond me. Your clothes end up stinking of smoke and you're lucky if you get a table with a fire. Meaning in the winter you're sat freezing. Clearly hasn't been thought through very well

I've not been to the POW for years, last time there was outside marque, massive wood burner, music, cocktail bar, and ATMOSPHERE! All completely gone, outside was dull, inside was full of "more mature" drinkers, absolutely not what it used to be. Bring back the party vibe, the atmosphere please. Let me know if you do, I'll try again.

We were the only family with kids and I don’t really know why. The beer garden is amazing. They host different street food providers and today Mr. souvlaki from Banbury was serving delicious Greek food. The bar serves various local and National tasty ales and lagers and plenty of cocktails available. Toilets were very clean. Staff were very kind.

Superb pub. The staff are friendly, it's good value, great vibe. Beer garden is ace, and when it's cold, there are fireplaces inside. A pub for all seasons.

We've been here a few times over the years. We'll be back again sooner rather than later as the beer is nice and cold.

My absolute favourite pub. Always made to feel super welcome by Connor and his team. Good selection of ales. My favourite folk are to be found here and it is dog friendly so Dexter is at home.

It's cosy, especially in winter when they have real fires lit in the front and back rooms. The staff are great, service is quick and there's a nice atmosphere to it. I'd give it more stars if the Guinness was decent, but it's pretty awful. Thought there would have been enough pulled through on a Friday evening, but it poured badly and was ice-cold. This isn't new, it was bad when Keith was in charge too, just a shame it hasn't changed. Cask beer (Landlord) was apparently well kept, and the other pale ales looked clean, if you like that sort of drink

Great pub, always go there when having a night out in Moseley and would recommend it to anyone. The cocktails and live music are fantastic. Only downside is the marquet clearly has ,'no smoking' signs up but everytime I've been there, there are multiple tables openly smoking and not being challenged, so you leave smelling like an ashtray.

Best Ale in Moseley. Bar staff are brilliant and friendly, glad it is in new hands and being cared for. Looking forward to the refurbishment.

Excellent evening spent in The Prince of Wales in Moseley. Cosy atmosphere with open fire in one of the side rooms. So glad it has been able to reopen with refreshing new management 🙌

Excellent service fantastic vibe......I'm sure this place is like a Tardis......the covered garden is twice the floor space of the actual pub. If you've not been well worth an evening visit. Had a fantastic time... Oh I'm the one training for Black father xmas!!!

A nice traditional pub in Moseley. A small bar area leads to further rooms towards the back (these are best in winter). The large beer garden is where this pub comes into it's own, with a large covered area and features such as a wine shed. The Prince has plenty of out-door seating, attracts a good varied crowd and also shows live sports on the out-door screen. There is also 'street-food' on sale at peak times.

Lovely atmosphere with a good selection of ale and drinks in general. Friendly and helpful staff and and plenty of room inside and in the beer garden put back. Love having the opportunity to hang out here when I get the chance.
