Sells a couple of tap beers. Fairly quiet place. Easy to get a seat. Plays cool swing music. Lovely decor.

Nice old fashioned type pub. Popped in for a meal and got exactly what I was looking for, pub grub. Had a mixed grill which at £9.99 was decent value. Will go again.

Place doesn't smell great when you go in. Dark and dingy. Staff not great either. Better pubs around to be honest.

My first time coming here. The food was lovely and the even tho the bar didnt have what i wanted the bar lady made us a lovely cocktail instead. The small lady with black hair was soo good. She was left on her own our entire visit she was doing the bar, giving out food, clearing tables and making sure everyone was okay we asked her where her staff are? Because there were times the bar was flooded with people and she could of done with the help but she was having trouble locating her manager aswell as dealing with everything else! Shes brill she got that cue right down but her staff deffo need to have her back because it can get soo busy in the blink of an eye it would of been way easier if she had someone to help her but overall the pub is lovely and we will deffo come again

Visited the pub on Friday to have a meal the service from the lady behind the bar was lovely and food was lovely however the pub got busy and the poor women was left alone to deal with serving and taking out food orders on her own, for a Friday night I expected there to be more staff supporting her.

Julie & Rhona are the most finest ladies ever to serve in such a place & it is utmostly sad that the venue is closing down. I just wish the ladies the best in the future & hope this place turns in something just as good.

I popped into the pub today for some lunch, I decided on having the all day breakfast. WOW!!! such lovely food and plenty of it. I got chatting to the manager Julie and the bar girl Charlie, what lovely people they are so friendly and engaging. The premises itself was clean and welcoming, if you ever pop into Birmingham go to the Crown its a wonderful place to visit. Well done

Website offers design my night booking of tables to watch sports. They said on website they were playing rugby all day. So i excitedly booked the night before. The pub confirmed on morning and took my £10 deposit. However when i got there was football on every screen. The boss of pub seemed like i was asking heaven and earth for rugby even though she willingly took my money. However 10pound refunded no problem. I dashed to another pub and missed 10 mins of match. Seemed like an ok pub especially for football fans but dont bother booking for other sports

Staff was moody, food was wrong in many ways and took over half hour for a burger and a wrap was basically forced to make a review and when I said I will later the reply was “everyone says that then don’t” with the moodiest face on. considering I work for the company this is bad service all round. Also the disables toilets smelt like something died in it.. my daughter was gagging the whole time it was that bad!

Never been to this place but went there yesterday afternoon (15th August). Really old feel a more traditional pub we went straight to the bar the barmaid was nice and cheery with a friendly smile. The pub wasn't very busy just a few drinkers watching the footie. Nice pint, really good atmosphere and great staff. Will be going again soon and will have some food next time. Well worth a visit

Been coming to the Crown on and off for about 5 years. Always a relaxed traditional pub experience , staff are friendly and quick to serve. A Good selection of spirits and beers , notably recently added Stella to the draft to replace the overly expensive estrella. A pub that looks after the customers requirements 👌 Good food prices too..
