We loved our bottomless brunch for the Lionesses world cup quarter finals! The table was set up wonderfully, in front of the TV so we could watch the win 🏆 We had great food and drinks served by Ash and Emma who were so attentive and ensured we had a great time. Thanks so much! Our favourite pub to watch such great tournaments in!

The foods are amazing, the service is excellent, they are friendly and amazing (kudos to Kieran and Meg!). You can also get 30p for each wing every Wednesday. Awesome!

We had an amazing bottomless brunch experience with endless drinks and tasty food! Our host Kiera was super attentive. Kiera made sure our glasses were never empty and really made our experience special - we will be back!

I was part of a large group (approx. 100) who descended unannounced on the Gosta Green on what was probably expected to be a quiet night. Dan and (forgive me if I've misremembered) Kira did an excellent job dealing with us and all our food orders, as well as all the other customers. They worked their arses off to take our orders bring us our food and keep our tables clear. They definitely deserve recognition and reward for this if you're their manager reading this! I'm sure the kitchen was overrun as well, so we'll done to whoever was in there. Our food arrive much faster than predicted. Thanks and well done, and I hope you sleep well tonight!

Nice place and decent atmosphere but disgusting prices and disgraceful service. A round of 3 ciders set me back just short of £20 and even for the city centre and cost of living, that is disgusting, there is absolutely no justification for this greed. To make matters worse the staff are unprofessional, don't care who's next in the queue, are extremely slow and miserable, I've seen happier faces in mortuaries! Edit - Spoken to the manager who very genuinely wants to put things right for which I highly commend. This, in my opinion, is very good customer service from someone who genuinely wants to do the best for his business and customers. I'll rate stars higher after my next visit.

Very friendly staff and good atmosphere! Everything you want from a pub - Great beer selection, solid food, lovely outdoor area, pool tables, dart board and a range of other entertainment.

Bar staff are arrogant and serve only one section of the bar apparently. A guy was served next to me and then when I challenged this they said they would only serve one half of the bar and they wouldn't serve me if I was shouting. I wasn't getting served waiting patiently! I was stood with at least 3 other customers waiting at least 20 minutes to be served who also shared this frustration and we were not told that this section of the bar was closed. Apparently if you queue jump this is acceptable. Bar staff too busy stroking their hair to realize who is next to be served

Lively friendly atmosphere and thanks to the wonderful staff (Rachel and Charlotte)who go above and beyond to make sure all of the customers have a great experience. Thank you. Though I didn't eat here on this occasion the food is always decent. The selection and quality of drinks is superb, the service is excellent and the atmosphere for a pub is second to none. Highly recommended.

Went here for the wings as I heard they were amazing. They definitely did not disappoint. The staff were really friendly and loved to have a chat. One of the best pubs to relax or have a good night with friends or family.

Cheap drinks for students is false advertising, don’t know why this stays here. they cannot give hot sauce for wings on a wednesday if you ask😂

Great student style pub. One of the rare places in Birmingham with plenty of screens showing all sorts of football. They put on the Italian football too! Food was surprisingly great too.

All I can say is that the staff do not give a toss. It was clear they hate working there and honestly my nan moves quicker up a flight of stairs and she is 85! Believe me, I'm never one to complain, check out my other reviews. I doubt I'll be coming back. Turra for now.

Just dropped in for a coffee with a friend on a Monday night. Very quiet, but I can imagine it gets very busy at weekends. Good selection of drinks and food. Mainly sports TV in the background. Good for Premiership games.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at gosta. It’s a great place to go for a student night out! Our server, Hannah was really funny and entertaining. She is a huge asset to your restaurant/ bar.

The beer selection is poor, what they do have tastes OK but is way over priced, a pint breaks the £5 barrier. My problem with the place is the staff, having asked for a drink ( using the word please) the card machine was pushed in front of me, I thanked the person for the drink. Not one word in response, not even eye contact. She was happy to continue chatting with her mate though. Just rude. My advice, drink elsewhere

Great place for students, amazing for sports viewing and loved the 2-4-1 pizza deal. Pizza was delicious with great options. Lost one star for the service, wasn’t friendly or smiley.

What a fantastic pub, the sports viewing is excellent. I was travelling for work and asked the team if they could put on a specific football match and they were more than happy to oblige. I could also keep my eye on 2 other matches at the same time. The team and service was brilliant all night such a great experience. Top pub!

Came in for the England game last night and was endlessly impressed! Despite how packed it was for the game the staff were great! Especially Kiera who served me a few times and was absolutely amazing, poured a cracking Guinness, and was just super friendly! Will definitely be back and would recommend as a place to watch the football!

Visited once whilst looking at the uni here and loved it! Really good place to go for students, especially to watch sports. I was served by Charlotte who was very friendly and even helped with my questions about the university. Hope to visit again soon!

Been to gosta a fair few times without a complaint, however the last visit will probably be the last. 2 people on the bar on a Friday night so the wait to be served was a good while. I asked for a double vodka and red bull, whilst the lady behind the bar poured the red bull I watched her leave a good quarter of the can left. She put the can on the side behind the bar so I asked if I could have it, she responded blank faced and rudely “I only put through for half a can” never in my life have I only payed for half a can. She was rude to a friend who she served next because I’d made a comment to him about the red bull situation, however made a huge point of being polite to my 3rd friend after wards.

I came in the other and day and was served by a gorgeous little ginger girl I can’t remember her name I think it started with a C from when it popped up on the tills. She was phenomenally patient and gave a bunch of wonderful recommendations and truly made my experience,”. Gosta is lucky to have her, whatever she’s getting paid she deserves double . Will be coming back just to see her

Great vibe going on tonight for the world Cup! I had pre booked but wasn't completely satisfied with the table we was given. Anne Marie was a great help and re seated us with no issues to give us the best seats! COME ON ENGLAND

Nice place to be, relatively quiet with a suprising amount to do games wise. The staff (Rachel and Trudy) were friendly and polite. Even though we went in late the food was a good standard too.

Food tasty, ale tasty, service very good ☹️a number of menu items weren't available. No one thought to find out that The Green Party Spring Conference was just down the road this weekend 😕. Hence only 4*'s
