A great little pub and hotel on the edge of the city centre. You can see how much the owners care for their customers. It’s a room above an old pub so there is noise and you could probably find faults if you wanted to, but for the easy going budget traveller this place is great. Wet room bathroom was a lovely bit of luxury. Bedding was excellent quality, I slept very well both nights. The owners were friendly and helpful, recommended a good local barber etc.

This is a great place. Bar staff are so friendly and bar service is excellent. Music is great, you will hear many long gone classics and Nicki the DJ is also lovely and played some good tunes. Definitely give it a go. Love the place. Well done Fountain team!!

The last 'old school' gay pub left in Birmingham. Chilled out atmosphere, and no blasting music which is nice, friendly staff and punters. Space to be intimate out back. Tends to be an older crowd.

About 15 years ago this was a wonderful pub. It was always busy with lots of hot men to watch. I went back recently and barely recognise the place. On Saturday night peak time there are now about 3 people in the place. I don't know how it stays in business. Very depressing to see a great place go downhill when we need more LGBT places, not less.

Nice little bar away from the heart of the gay scene. Its cosy inside (bigger than I thought it would be). Pool table, lots of seating and a little cruise area at back. Friendly staff and reasobly priced drinks.

Fantastic Bar that we always call at when visiting Birmingham. Premium quality drinks served by very attentive bar staff who know how to provide a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Not to be missed is the superbly looked after garden area . . You'd think you were sitting somewhere in Spain! Can't wait to return.

Visited recently and was very pleased with the lovely room and friendly staff. Very good prices for both the room itself and at the bar. Bar is very spacious and inviting. Will definitely be back again soon!! Recently visited again for my birthday and had a wonderful time courtesy of the amazing staff. Could not recommend more!

Very pleasantly surprised!!! Spotless modern rooms with a super comfy bed bang in the gay village at a price that beat the budget hotels. Deffo my first go to on any future visits.
