I was physically harmed by the security guards at this bar and was made a mockery of when I tried to escalate the situation to management. I was separated from my friends, dragged out of the upstairs toilet and through the entire bar and thrown outside for no reason at all. My property is damaged and I have bruises all along the left side of my body. After speaking to the security guards and management, I still do not have an answer as to why I was physically and aggressively removed from the bar. I was sharing a toilet cubicle with my friend, which is something that many girls do on nights out and we were not the only girls in the toilet sharing a cubicle at the time. Our privacy was invaded as my friend was actually still using the toilet at the time the security guards pushed open the door. The manager stated that “there are protocols for two people sharing a toilet.” But he could not explain what these protocols were. Manager is a complete joke of a man. I was speaking to him to report that I had been physically assaulted by his security guards and pulled out of the toilets for no reason and he started laughing and commented that “he deals with drunk girls like me all the time and we get passed around.” The comment about being passed around was extremely unprofessional and unnecessary. As someone that was not crazily drunk at the time, it was upsetting for me that the staff just assumed that I was crying and highly emotional due to ‘being drunk’ and not that I was emotional because I had been physically assaulted for no reason at all and was not receiving any help from management. The other members of staff and security guards working outside of the bar were laughing at us and being verbally abusive towards me and my friend while we were waiting for the police to arrive. I’m not sure if the security guards work for Be at One or if they are outsourced from an agency, but the security guard that left me with bruises was a black guy around 5”9 with glasses. And the lady that assisted him to carry me out was a chubby white lady around 5”2 with a blonde pixie cut and brunette highlights. As someone that is a returning customer and has been to this bar numerous times and treated well, I am very disappointed in the security guards for abusing their power for no good reason at all. For me it was also scary knowing that management who are the top people working at the venue also had no compassion for a customer being physically harmed by their staff. If the management have zero respect for the customers there is actually no hope for the Employees either. I absolutely did not deserve to be treated the way that I was as I did not do anything wrong. I will not be returning and I hope the Be At One staff can empathise and understand how scary and traumatic this experience was me.

RUDEST bar staff. Bought a gin and tonic, when the barmaid left the bottle of tonic next to my drink, i filled my previous glass with the remaining tonic and she then starts shouting at me saying i’m not allowed to do that. I question her asking her why i can’t do this? If i’ve paid for a gin and tonic, best believe i’m doing what i want with the remaining tonic. When i questioned her about what she meant she just said “it’s not about that” well what is it about? Quite confused as to why she thinks i’m not entitled to the bottle of tonic i paid for. I’d be ashamed to have someone this rude and incompetent on staff. All that attitude over a bottle of tonic? Get a grip love!

£11.45 for a bottle and a pink gin with lemonade which tasted like hairspray. Lively atmosphere and full of drunk women, and I mean drunk. Wouldn't recommend.

Do not go if you want to enjoy your eve, mainly due to the bouncers. Encountered some extremely rude door staff, do not know what hospitality is nor how to treat customers, his name is Matt. Aggressive way of speaking, no basic manners & in general can tell he just hates his job (and life) and takes it out on customers. Hope he gets the professional help he needs, so sad to see.

Had so much fun Tonight, came out on a works do and expected to be too busy on a Saturday. All the bartenders were great getting on the bar and having a good time, Brandon was brilliant serving us great cocktails and assisting us when we didn’t know what to order

This bar is fun with good music & a real party vibe for any age. Very busy, well managed no trouble & the staff are amazing! Service was relatively quick despite it being Happy Hour and given they have to know the ingredients for 139 cocktails! The only negative was not many places to sit as most reserved but some empty the whole time we were there.

If you’re looking for terrible music (busted), totally overpriced drinks (£24 for 2 rum and cokes) , pretentious delusional young drunk idiots, rude door and bar staff and entitled girls who push past everyone at the bar to get served . Then look no further, you’ll probably have the night of your life in here. What the hell has happened to this place . Used to be a really cool bar that served any cocktails you wanted, with a good vibe and decent music. Piss poor

A really fun and lively bar/club, although it was very busy. Most of the staff were friendly but a few dismissed people from sitting down on the side when they were tired or feeling unwell, and security seemed unaware of a couple men making some uncomfortable. A pleasant evening but could have been improved safety and comfort wise.

Probably the rudest bar staff I have ever come across. First bar maid that served my friends and myself, seemed to have a problem with filling our drinks to the top. Now comes the best one. My friend bought me a bottle over with a glass. The glass was covered in lip stick. So I asked a person behind the bar if I could have a fresh one. She then aggressively bit my head off,and said I'm not serving you. After still been in shock,I asked one of the other so called bar staff to change it. She then checked the glass like I was lying. And gave me a New one. That will definitely be my last time in their. And I suggest to management in getting professional people behind the bar,and not arrogant Ill mannered staff,that blatantly dont have any people skills.

I don't think I've ever left a review for door staff (Bouncers) before but the staff working the door last night were fantastic. Courteous, friendly and genuinely felt like they wanted to make you feel welcome/safe. Great hires there.

A friend and I came here a couple of weeks ago and we couldn't fault it at all. Staff were all lovely (Nerissa and Georgie) and especially Romeo who made our experience extra special! Great selection of drinks, lovely atmosphere, clean and tidy. Will definitely be back soon

Sabi’s service was excellent, I wasn’t waiting longer than 5 minutes for a drink. When being served she was very well mannered and friendly. Couldn’t ask for anything better. Made sure I went too her all night because of how reliable and kind she was

Me and my best friend booked an area with Be At One for our birthday and it’s one of the best nights out we've had! The staff are exceptional and made us feel very special with birthday cannons and we even had complementary shots brought out after. All the staff we’re definitely a big part of why our night was so enjoyable, I can’t thank them enough. Our area was amazing, as well as how much fun the overall atmosphere of the place was and we will be booking birthdays here again! My brother even forgot his phone but staff made sure to collect it and he was able to pick it up the next day no issues.

Amazing experience at this place, very energetic and super super fun for our hen party! Music was amazing as well! We didn't order much to eat, so not sure about food, but staff is enthusiastic and got the customers into a groovy mood :)

Booked in for bday celebrations but unfortunately I came 30 mins late and lost my table which was understandable due to the previous place I was in taking longer than I expected. Really happy that I managed to find someone quickly and the host even sorted us an area so big up to the host (he had a pink hat/bandana on sorry didn’t catch a name) and team for being great and accommodating! This was on a bank holiday Sunday so it was nice to still be seen and taken care of!

Reece was the best host that be at one could possibly offer. Dance moves were a plus. Truly an asset to the company. Thank you for giving us such a fun night, Reece. Whole experience was amazing but he truly elevated it. Will definitely be back.

Visited earlier today for my birthday with my partner, drinks were bang on and our bartender Cosmo made sure we were having the best time. Good atmosphere but it’s the staff that really make this place - will definitely be coming back!

Packed. Amazing. Energetic, wild and crazy bartenders who keep the place lively. Great DJ. Terrible Terrible security outside. I went out and told the guy I would come back and as he would let others in he was all rude and disrespectful in his manner towards me.

Came here with my colleagues from London for a weekend trip and we were served by the lovely Graci. 10/10 experience and the service was amazing. Graci was polite and accommodated our needs. So blown away by her service that I’m writing my review while sitting in the bar. Thank you

My first visit to be at one and had a great night with friends. Staff were friendly and helpful especially Kyle. Kyle was polite and had a laugh with us girls he helped make it a fun night. Will definitely be going again especially if Kyle’s there 😏😏. X

Be at one has always been my favourite, never disappoints me at all. My time here has always been amazing but today Sabi made it extra by providing me excellent service. It was nice talking to her. Lovely lady. I forgot to say but your makeup looked amazing.

Best Be at one, the staff here are amazing in particular Lavinia and Rav, two lovely kind hearted women! Looked after me after one too many, which is easily done here lol. Also my friend lost her Bag which these two angels managed to find and hold for her to collect. Vibes/drinks/Music is also good here, would recommend and would come back :) xxx

Turned away at 6pm on a Sunday due to wearing footwear that doesn’t adhere to their dress code (an air bubble in my black trainers) - Disappointing as heard good things about this venue, however it has let itself down with their dress code. I’d understand if I was wearing sportswear head to toe, however it was quite apparent I was dressed for a night out. Took business elsewhere and had a great evening.

Fabulous drinks, amazing atmosphere! Last minute booked a table for later on in the evening with a lovely member of staff called Katie, she really helped us out! Staff are super friendly and helpful throughout our visit! Would 100% recommend a visit here on your night out in Birmingham!

Nice place to drink in the early weekdays. But always pack on the weekend night, but most of the bartender they will charge you double price even if you only ask for single, & size of the glass are not very accurate.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Be At One, I had Becky as my bartender and she was an absolute star. Our drinks were made promptly and she answered any questions we had about the cocktails we were ordering. I would 100% come back again for the good service and amazing drinks, worth the price point and an awesome atmosphere.

from the moment we walked into Be At One, we felt welcomed and we knew we wanted to stay there for hours. when choosing our (many) cocktails, the bar staff were so friendly and helpful, making suggestions based on our preferences. Sabi, Becky and Zak were an absolute delight and without them, our experience wouldn't have been half as enjoyable. We will be back!

A great night out overall. Que times are very long, and two double vodkas basically break the bank. But the music and venue as a whole is nice

The cocktails are excellent here, made even better by the 2-4-1 offer available at times. Staff are all having fun, good music and generally a great atmosphere. Authentic cocktails too, freshly prepared on front of you, no pouring out of a bag or premixed here 👌🏼

Me and my 3 friends had a really good time here. I’d really like management to recognise Romeo who went above and beyond for us tonight. It’s not often you go to a bar and have such an attentive member of staff. I also had an amazing interaction with Steph! She was wearing a Christmas shirt with gingerbread men on it, and was so nice!
