We visited the Green Man yesterday with our 20 week old puppy. We initially sat in the beer garden however we was welcomed into the bar area inside which made our meeting with friends a lot more comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and even brought us water over for our puppy when we got in there and made a fuss of our baby. Our other friend brought her 2 dogs and again there was no problems with this. There was around 7 of us and we all truly enjoyed our visit to The Green Man. We ordered food which was very nice and quick service despite it being busy. The pub itself was very modern and clean. This was our first visit to Harbourne and we’re already discussing between us about coming back to the Green Man with out little fur babies in the near future. Thank you for being so welcoming! Really recommended.

Nice inside. Gastro pub. The Oyster Bay Chardonnay wine I had was delicious. Thought menu was a bit limited. Would have liked a couple more meat based dishes to choose from. Good service. Parking available.

Nice pub, good atmosphere in the evenings. Decent prices and plenty tables. They need more staff as people were walking in and then out due to wait for drinks. Would visit again for food.

Tops for me as it's spacious, lovely & warm with coal fires burning. I used to go here back in the 80s with parents for a sizzler steak 🥩 remember those? Took my sister last Saturday & we had chicken 🐔 wings with chips, half a fruit cider each, went down a treat. Nice atmospheric not overcrowded pub. Will definitely come again.

Ordered pancakes and bacon tasted amazing and arrived within 10 mins of ordering nice and hot. Coffee tasted nice and served in a tall glass mug. Staff were very friendly, both management and bar staff. Bit dark inside and electric fire was lit. However, it was not turned on to heat up the room was the only downside. It was 11am, and I was the only person on that side of the room. Men's toilets could do with a refurbishment.

Had a fabulous time for our team Christmas food and drinks. Cameron was great but unfortunately didn’t want a new job!

Visited on a Monday and ate three courses from the lunchtime menu. The staff were friendly and the range of drinks was good. The food was great value and the sticky toffee pudding was great to finish the meal. Three courses and a pint for under £20.

It is nice to have a local pub with a rustic feel to it, the general atmosphere is relaxing. Food - Is typical of most Ember's. Drink - it was cold and served fine. Staff - they do what they need to do. Nothing really notable as going above and beyond. App - don't even bother. The offers when ordering to table don't work and more hassle than worth. Atmosphere - the fireplace has interesting artifacts and books on. It would be nice instead of a small table in front, to have the electric fire glowing and making the place look more warming. It wasn't cold at all, but a nice red glow from a fireplace would be really nice. Some of the tables are a bit quirky! Notes pile of boxes and glasses at end of bar makes look a bit of a dumping ground. Parking - be sure to register numberplate, but it is free and plenty available. It really is a nice place, but does need a little attention to bring it up to 5*.

Visited on Saturday, was hard to find a table which is good. As when we ordered our food and it arrived. I myself had Posh Fish and Chips with a side order of onion rings. My partner had the Ultimate Burger. Food was gorgeous, hot and delicious. Service was quick and friendly. The waitress I felt a bit sorry for as she was the only one working. Never seen her once stop for five minutes in the two hours we were there. Maybe the manager of this establishment should have a rethink of hiring more waitresses on days when he knows it’s going to be busy at weekends.

Had a full 3 course meal. Absolutely beautiful. Had the second best sea bass I've ever had.(first was in a hotel , cooked by a Michelin star Chef) Starter and pudding were both up to a high standard.Nice Cosy atmosphere and friendly helpful staff.Excellent quick service and a very reasonable price. Definitely one to recommend

Came here for some quick food and drinks with friends. Easy booking system and big car park, very much welcome for this area and on a Friday night too. Good atmosphere all round, very busy but not crowded. The food was fair price and decent enough pub food. Bar staff and waiters were all very friendly and helpful. Very clean place too. Recommend coming here if you're looking for an easy relaxed pub atmosphere for food and drinks.

Came in for lunch today with a group of friends, the food was excellent but the service from Nicole was even better! She’s an asset to the company! Will definitely be returning!

Your drinks menu is limited. You need Captain Morgan Spiced rum back on the menu. A few more vegetarian options would be good.

Womens toilets are absolutely manky.Smell is revolting. They've had an "Out of Order' toilet since we last called in a week ago and it's still there. Service is great, its the women's toilets that let the place down!

After plenty of searching for a good pub, we eventually came across the green man (on 09.02.22). The entire visit from start to finish was fantastic. On arrival, we parked next door where you can get free parking if you are guests to the pub (just pop your registration in the terminal at the bar when ordering). So this was a nice added plus, not having to scurry around for change for parking. When we entered, staff were welcoming and friendly. We were served straight away, and ordered drinks while we decided what food to order (I had a Coors, and my partner a Stowford Press - both were fresh and crisp!) We sat in a lovely corner of the pub whikst flicking through the menu and admiring the beautiful decor (wooden beams, warm lighting, fantastic and quirky artwork). There was plenty to choose from on the menu, all priced very reasonably. As a pescetarian, there was a whole menu for veggie options for me to choose from (and some fishy options too from the main menu) whilst my partner opted for the fixed price menu. For starters we shared the salt & pepper calamari and the Parsley breaded mushrooms - both were lovely with delicious accompanying dips and the portioning was fantastic! Once we finished the staff were on the ball and cleared our plates ready for the mains. I opted for the Vegetarian Toad in the Hole - 3 delicious veggie sausages (really tasty!) ontop of a bed of mashed potato stuffed inside of a huge Yorkshire pudding and a side of veggies. Very nice! My partner had the Gammon & Chips and he was extatic! The first time we've managed to find somewhere that offers both pineapple and egg with the gammon, which was a lovely surprise for him. Also the cut of gammon is immense! Really thick and he said it tasted amazing. Overall the service was outstanding, the food insanely delicious, the vibe was very cosy and homely. We really can't wait to visit again!

Me and my brother had a meal at lunchtime, food was served quickly by friendly staff. I had grilled chicken which came with chips instead of baby potatoes as advertised on the menu, but hey ho! My brother had Scampi, chips and peas. Would go again.

Friendly staff, nice selection of food and service was quick without feeling rushed. My only criticism was the chicken wings that I had with the half rack of ribs were very dry and over-cooked. Everything else was fine.

This place has always been a great pub to have a drink and a meal. We hadn't been for a couple of years,so our visit on Friday was still how we remembered it. Friendly staff and good food at a decent price. It's a cosy pub too,so with Xmas coming I bet it's a nice place for a Xmas week lunch or even a Xmas Eve drink. We will be back though.👍

Visited on Sunday for lunch, the entire visit from beginning to end was a pleasure. The FOH staff were attentive and helpful and the team member who brought the food out to the table was really engaging. Well done the Green Man team. Having attempted to dine in The Dog earlier, it's closer to where we live, I'd suggest the team there spend some time on secondment at the GM to understand what customer service looks like.

Visited today for Sunday Lunch. Waitresses are friendly but the man behind the bar could of been a bit friendlier. My review of the food is that it was nice but could do with more potatoes. Only given a couple of roasties. Maybe mash would be a better option?

Had a fantastic meal at the here yesterday. Three course for just over a tenner. And it was delicious. The visit started well when my order was taken by the maageress herself and she was down to earth yet still very keen and professional. The rest of the staff were equally enthusiastic and courteous. The food took a little while but came very well presented and tasted supreme. I was very impressed. Not the cheapest and certainly not the most expensive for Harborne. I will have no issue returning.

Service from all staff on my visit on Friday 10 June evening was outstanding. Have not had as good service in a long time. I will return for sure. Recommended the fixed price menu that was available. Great selection of keg and cask drinks too

Superb service today. We went in with our dog and 90 year old mom. Unfortunately the doggy area only had high seats which were too high for our mom to get on to. Seeing the problem Kay the manager instantly swapped the table and chairs for a lower table and chairs. We were made to feel very comfortable and our custom appreciated. The food was excellent quality and very tasty. Also great service off the young man who brought the food to the table. We will definitely be going there again.

Nice place, nice wait staff. I asked for a medium well steak and it was very well done unfortunately. Other than that, nice meal and generally a good place for couples.
