Nice old pub in Birmingham. Friendly staff, standard contemporary pub food. Small but excellent choice of cask beers. Will be there again.

Ordered a burger and a chicken sub for my partner and I, with drinks. Prices were reasonable. Food was delicious and fresh. Good choice of guest ales. Quiet traditional feeling pub. Also has a jukebox. Would recommend to everyone. Thank you, my partner had a great birthday.

Had a really great time here the other week. The service was really good and all the staff are really nice! even joking about with us. Looks like they had fun working there! Great selection of drinks too, I had the Mango IPA which is excellent and my wife had a house white which she loved too. Recommended!

A lovely little pub which is just far enough from the main road to be free of fools. Most of the staff are very helpful , but one or too need to learn the meaning of the word "Hospitality" Basically worth a visit!

Great live entertainment and friendly atmosphere. Staff are hard working and polite. A real little gem of a country style pub, hidden away. A credit to the hard work of all.

Little Gem off the main road. Popped in for a drink and food while we were out. It was very busy but the staff were very efficient. 1/2 Wait for food, which I thought was very good considering how busy it was, and there was a full function going on. Great little room outside for functions, which is good to know. And lovely beer garden. My wife and I are going back on 2nd December, and we have reserved a table with friends to watch entertainment that we found out is regularly available.

Absolutely love the Stone, beer is top quality with a great choice of guest ales. Amazingly friendly staff who contribute to a great atmosphere. The food menu offers a wide variety of meals for all. Brilliant live entertainment on a regular basis plus a large private beer garden to enjoy. Come and share a beer or two soon. 😁🍺

Had my daughters party today in the outhouse at the stone. Staff were fantastic, we hired our own entertainment but ordered pub meals and all meals were cooked on time ready to bring out and nothing was a problem (thankyou so much ray) even though some kids were fussy and wanted adaptions to meals. Louis and Tom were constantly checking if we needed anything and topping up the squash. Deffo reccomend this pub for any occasion xx

Best pub ever. Been drinking here since I was 16. It truly is the GREAT Stone (otherwise known as The Stones by one of the best people I know ever, Gabi aka Jiminy Cricket). Jan, the landlady is a legend. Abby, Beth, Donna are my absolute favourite bar staff ever (plus Lucy who no longer works there) plus Lewis (when he can be arsed) 😂. Only thing that makes this place better is when Jake Thorne plays some live music there. He might even bring his mate one time hopefully (though I doubt it).

My husband and I had some time to kill before attending his hospital appointment, so we decided to treat ourselves to some lunch. After a google, we found this pub and decided to give it a go. We were so pleased by the service and the food that we shall be back, even if it’s a 45 min journey either way. Decently priced food and deserts that are so delicious it leaves you wanting more! Lovely little pub that more people need to be made aware of!! Thank you 😊

Hands down one of the best pubs in the area. The staff are fantastic, decent selection of food for a good price and the atmosphere is amazing. 400+ year old pub with huge beer garden. Gives village pub vibes. It has become regular part of our week this place!

A real pub instead of the typical chain pub. I mean this in the best possible way, it's like a 90s pub. They have great music like Johnny Cash, Oasis and Nirvana. There's a partially covered beer garden out the back. The food is great and the staff are really welcoming and friendly. A great selection of drinks too. All you could ask for from a pub.

Been here before on several occasions and great food and real ales Disappointed on recent visit. No rump steak on the menu. More disappointing was very surprised when my plate was cleared away whilst my colleague was still eating. Very bad waiting service and when pointed out no apology offered. In fact quite a sullen response. You don’t clear a table whilst people are still eating. Never! As a result, we left and several friends who were joining us later met in another pub where we spent £220 on drinks by closing time. Sad as we liked The Great Stone atmosphere and normally the staff are tiptop and welcoming.

Stooped off here trying to avoid traffic after visiting cadburys World, had drinks and some food. It was so reasonably priced and the quality and quantity was fab. Xx although it was busy food was served quickly and staff all appeared to be very friendly.

It was a warm, intimate venue. I had come here to watch a friend perform live and the staff accommodated my request of having a table next to the stage as requested in my table booking. They were all friendly and happy to help if questions were needing to be answered
