If you like your craft beer, then The Wolf is definitely a good stop on your travels. Just on the edge of the city centre of Birmingham a stone throw away from Birmingham Snow Hill station, The Wolf is a very quirky independent bar with their specialism in continuingly changing beers on offer and their fully loaded toasties and pies. I had been past it for years but never managed to visit it until now. The beauty about the beers here is that they are all available to take out on cans. I ordered a lamb, mint and potato pie. It came within 5 minutes of me ordering it. It was well filled and tasted great. The prices for this and the drinks on offer are reasonable given where we are. Service was efficient and friendly. I also had the chocolate torte to finish off with vanilla ice cream which was a nice and sweet treat. The dessert was also vegan. The ice cream is hand crafted by Odi + Moo. I would recommend a visit to here if you are passing by. The interior itself is beautiful with different bits and bobs to take your interest to. As I went on a Tuesday, it was 50% off all food. Go on a Thursday and you get 20% off lol cans and bottles. They even do roasts 12-6 on Sundays.

My son introduced me to the Wolf and I booked a table during the restrictions, it was nice to visit freely. They have some very strong ales (12%) which are sold in halves. The decor is unusual, it is situated on Constitution Hill not far from Snow Hill station and is definitely worth a visit.

Great bar with great beer and great staff. Food looked good too, but didn't have time to sample any. There's a large rotating selection of beers, with stouts, ales, sours and more available. The bar space itself has a really nice vibe.

Unusual quirky bar with fab graffiti style decor. Friendly and welcoming even for our grown up children who enjoyed a game of monopoly in there. Recommended if you want somewhere that’s a little different to the norm. Only thing I would say for me was a small gripe was that all payments were card only and I would of liked to be able to pay cash. Dog friendly 🐶

Great place! The beer selection is amazing. Staff are friendly. Dogs are welcome inside which is great. We've eaten here a few times and never been disappointed, some nice veggie and vegan options. Cans are available for drink in or takeaway with a discount on takeaway. Always a great selection to choose from!

Had a lovely Sunday afternoon. Roast dinner was tasty and well prepared. Nice vegetables. Really good selection of real ale and ciders. Staff knowledgeable, really welcoming and genuinely friendly. Wish them all success with their great pub. We'll be back soon. Actually dog friendly rather than the usual dog tolerant. Made our pooch welcome, brought her a bowl of water and a doggy biscuit too. Interesting decor and a lovely atmosphere.

Couldn’t like this place more if I tried!! Fantastic selection of beers, really cool looking place. Super staff - chatty, engaging and welcoming! Food menu looked amazing… already regretting not eating whilst I was there! Deffo somewhere I’ll be back to regular when I’m in Brum.

Cracking craft beer pub! No surprise Siren picked it as one of its places to launch their latest stout range. Lots of choice. Friendly staff. Great pub.

Always such a friendly and warm welcome. Great range of beers including 0% or low % which is great for those driving. Pie and mash will always be a winner and they get it just right here. Decent mash portion and lovely minted peas. We will keep coming back!

A 5-Star Feast at "The Wolf": A Haven for Toasties, Pies, and More!: If you're searching for a culinary gem in the heart of Birmingham, look no further than "The Wolf." This cozy restaurant nestled in the city's vibrant food scene offers an exceptional dining experience that will leave you craving more. From the warm and inviting ambiance to the friendly and attentive staff, "The Wolf" is a haven for food enthusiasts seeking a taste of comfort and flavor. As I stepped into the restaurant, I was instantly captivated by its tasteful decor, blending modern elements with rustic charm. The cozy seating arrangements and soft lighting created an intimate atmosphere, perfect for sharing a meal with friends or enjoying a moment of solitude. "The Wolf" prides itself on its limited, but carefully curated menu, featuring a tantalizing selection of toasties, pies, nachos, and cheese boards. This focused approach ensures that each dish receives the attention it deserves, resulting in a symphony of flavors that delights the taste buds. On this occasion, I had the pleasure of savoring their chicken, ham, and leek pie, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The golden pastry crust enveloped a generous filling of tender chicken, succulent ham, and perfectly cooked leeks. Each bite revealed a harmonious blend of flavors, with the savory notes of the meat complemented by the subtle sweetness of the leeks. The pie was flawlessly executed, with a flaky crust that melted in my mouth and a filling that was both hearty and comforting. But "The Wolf" doesn't stop at outstanding pies. Their commitment to quality shines through in every dish they offer. The toasties, oozing with gooey cheese and delectable fillings, were a symphony of textures and flavors, while the nachos arrived piled high with a delightful combination of toppings, providing a satisfying crunch with each bite. The cheese boards showcased a thoughtful selection of artisanal cheeses, paired with carefully chosen accompaniments that elevated the experience to a whole new level. Throughout my meal, the staff at "The Wolf" displayed an infectious passion for their craft, delivering attentive and friendly service that further enhanced my dining experience. Their genuine warmth and knowledge of the menu added a personal touch, making me feel like a valued guest in their culinary haven. In conclusion, "The Wolf" in Birmingham is a restaurant that deserves every accolade it receives. With its inviting atmosphere, limited yet exceptional menu, and dedicated staff, it offers a five-star experience that leaves a lasting impression. Whether you're a pie enthusiast, a cheese connoisseur, or simply seeking a place to enjoy good food and great company, "The Wolf" is an absolute must-visit. Prepare to be whisked away on a gustatory journey that will leave you craving a return visit.

Amazing sunday lunch! Service is a proper Birmingham welcome - honest and friendly. Food is sensational. All tastes homemade and real quality. Monster yorkies, tender meats and well cared for veg! Try the burning soul x the wolf beer if it is on tap. Highly recommend and can't wait to return.

Love. This. Pub. Fantastic selection of craft beers, cool venue as well as cool and friendly staff. Food is fantastic and casual. My favourite part about this pub other than supporting local businesses is they have board games on deck to make hanging out with friends and family even better. Definitely worth a visit if new to the area or a local!

Cheese board: Lots of bread, lots of chutneys, lots of meat, not much cheese. Slices were thin which was a little disappointing. All other items on the cheese board were substantial. The staff were very helpful and friendly though and the vibe, setting and atmosphere were perfect for my visit. Hopefully they consider increase the cheese portion size for us cheese lovers out here.

Loved the vibe of this place, my first time visiting The Wolf, and as a bit of a craft beer nerd I was definitely excited to see the huge collection of pump clips on the ceiling! Craft beer range is excellent, ranging from straightforward Lagers to sours to pastry stouts.

I always wanted to try their pie, was really surprisingly good. The mushy peas with that mint twist kick gave freshness for such a heavy food. The gravy and mush potatoes were also spot on, did not drenched at all the pie. Decent variety of ciders and ales. Atmosphere is great inside and glad that it is trying to make the area look better. Try out the Brownie and the Belgium waffle if you still have some space. I was satisfied with everything including the service.

Went for the roast on Sunday. The roast pork I tried was great with decent sized portions. Feedback on the beef, Yorkshire puds and turkey was positive too. Nice range of crafty beer available for your delight or big brands if you prefer. Service was friendly and attentive and the place had a nice laid back Sunday afternoon vibe. Recommend

Pretty disappointed with their roast dinner, some individual elements were nice but the price was way too high for the really small portion. £18 is ridiculous. Drop your prices or increase your portion size.
