It is definitely a place to go! George and his staff provided excellent service, besides their delicious food, great atmosphere, and prices for great value.

Fab pub food and good value for money. Excellent parking spaces. Very child friendly and lovely staff (special thanks to Theresa for looking after us today). Lovely range of vegetarian dishes for adults and children too!

An excellent pub for fine dining. Ample seating outside and inside the pub catered to your needs. An excellent array of drinks for different occasions. Love the way the whiskeys are arranged at the bar This place has a great menu and the quality of food served is excellent. You feel like you are being served in a 5 start restaurant. We were served by Theresa who had a good knowledge of the food choices and always had a smile. There was individual attention given to every guest. I would go back to this place in a jiffy to try other dishes in the menu

Went to the Garden House for the first time tonight. The service was superb, the food was fantastic. I explained my dietary requirements to Sharon, and she took the time to go through various options available to me. I went with the sirloin steak with salad and a mushroom/peppercorn sauce. It was delicious and just what I wanted. Sharon went out of her way to ensure that I was catered for and looked after. All the other staff were friendly and welcoming. First impressions count with me, and as such I will be back. Thank you to Sharon and the team at The Garden House, you certainly ticked all my boxes.

First time visit to the Garden House this afternoon around 2pm and just had a pint of Birra Moretti while passing by. Found this to be a very warm welcoming place, the background music was just right, lighting not too bright / not too dark and temperature perfect. A calm chilled atmosphere! Seems to be a popular pub / restaurant amongst the older people, but also the younger ones too to have a meal - which noticed orders happily taken from the table to save waiting at the bar. There were a lot of people who looked like were enjoying their meals - all of which looked very tasty! Outside there is a good amount of parking, along with bus stops on both sides of the road in and out of central Birmingham so very well located. Staff - The guy who served me was very helpful, came straight over to the bar when came up, and helped me with using my voucher code towards the drink with no problems at all. Done with a smile and a friendly chat which was much appreciated :) I have only one point to note on improvement, the toilets were clean. But, were quite dark and did not smell as fresh as could be. I'd suggest maybe the air freshener has run out and there being an issue with the some of the lights not being on that could be looked at. There is a good amount of promotional display to raise funds for the Macmillan Cancer Support around the bar - this is a great cause to note and hope you raise lots for the cause. Conclusion: I'd happily return again, and probably for an evening meal too. Thank you for the nice visit.

Had a lovely lunch served by Lisa, seating was well spaced our, perfect for my parents who are disabled, Lisa was extremely helpful when we were ordering food for my son who has an egg allergy, the kitchen rustled up a meal off the menu. Food was delicious and reasonably priced, we will definitely be back soon. Thanks for the excellent service Lisa we appreciate it.

Fantastic place, great food and great service. Originally we had booked in for a late Sunday lunch, but had a call a couple of hours before to say that they had a busy lunch period and had run out. At first we were disappointed, but fair play for letting us know. We decided to go anyway and choose off the main menu, and I'm so glad we did. Our meals were absolutely delicious, service was excellent (fast and attentive), and they catered really well for our 15 month old. It's a really nice setting and can't recommend the place enough.

We arrived for late lunch at Garden House, The service is good but you need to be notice by the staff when you entered from the front door, limited number of staff and most of the customers are seating at the back. The food is not as good any more…. it used to be good and quality Is worh the money. And they need new sets of pots for sauces, most of them have chipped and few sharp edges.

The Garden House has a lovely atmosphere, a few different indoor dining areas, as well as a lovely patio for outside dining. Lovely decor. Felt a little lost on arrival, as there were no staff around, nor anyone behind the bar. The staff were polite and friendly - in a professional way. The food - not wanting a large meal, I had a starter and dessert. Chicken and Smoked Ham Hock Terrine, followed by Caramelised Vanilla Cheesecake and a latte. The Terrine and Cheesecake were delicious, so tasty. (However, for me, the proportion sizes on the starter were off - another toasted ciabatta croûtte needs to added and the watercress needs to be fresh, not wilting.) I would definitely recommend The Garden House

An excellent surprise, this venue far exceeded any expectations. The service is outstanding, the staff are extremely helpful and polite. The food is excellent. There is a wait as we had a large group, but this was explained in advance and managed very well. The premises looks like it needs some love and attention, but this hides the quality of the staff and service.

I've never been to the Garden House before, so I wasn't quite sure where to park. There is a road at the side of the pub that leads to back, so don't worry about parking. There's plenty of space available. Food was tasty, just a little mix-up on my mushrooms, but they quickly fixed the issue! Thank you 😊

A lovely pub. It has a sizeable garden at the back with seating and extra free parking. I had the seafood dish with salmon, prawns, potatoes and veg which was delicious and filling. The toilets are at the back of the pub, and we're clean. The staff were friendly. I would recommend this place.

Came here New Years Day as a group of 7. Food and service was good but just a couple of things made this place a 4 star rather than a 5 star: -Would have liked to have the option of the normal menu too rather than just the Sunday menu. -I had the fish and chips and ordered the scampi and bread and butter as an extra. Bread and butter was on the plate but had to ask for the scampi. Also, the portion of peas was tiny! -Ordered the topped roasties which was meant to have shredded beef on them but instead got roasties with big chunks of beef. Not a biggie, but not what was advertised and wasn't advised of this either Other than this, had an enjoyable evening and everyone in our party ate their meals. The roast dinners were a hit. The Bakewell tart for dessert was the highlight of meal. It was amazing!

A reasonable selection of menu options for a Sunday, though a little short on Vegetarian dishes. Very friendly staff, good drinks menu and relaxed surroundings.

From the moment we walked in we had a lovely warm welcome from the lovely (Gina). She was very accommodating to our needs especially after our prior bad experience with TGI down the road. We was also greeted with a lovely welcome from (George ) Within 10 mins of us seating we were served with drinks and orders taken. The service is like 5* the food was VERY nice the presentation was on point. The communication throughout our dining experience was very accommodating. I’ll definitely recommend this place to dine to anyone especially if I’m back in this area I’ll be looking out for Gina and George.
