Popped in here last night for food and a drink and wasn't disappointed. Food was really good, reasonably priced and excellent service. If you want good pub food locally, I would highly recommend.

Nice place....staff are all okay. The bowling green is great with a club that goes back to 1935. Great atmosphere. I'll try the food next time I go...

We had a table booked for 5.30, had ordered at the bar by 5.50, was told about 30 minute wait, which was fine. The food arrived 7pm, I know I asked for steak to be well done but not cremated, onions were under steak & burnt onto plate. Staff were rushed of their feet.

Located directly off the main A449 Wolverhampton Road, this is a gem of a pub. Both a family pub and a modern bar rolled into one. The site has huge parking areas at the front and back which makes a visit easy. Additionally, there is plenty of free on road parking space. The pub looks really nice and has that traditional pub vibe both in the architecture and the internal layout. There is a lot of outdoor seating with umbrellas during the summer. Inside there is a traditional long bar which is always manned by knowledgeable and accommodating staff. The prices are fair and the staff well trained to get you served quickly but yet politely. The pub has both a family orientation and a modern pub feel which is great. Sometimes you just want to take the family for a meal and sometimes you want to go watch a match with the lads. The pub has many large screen TVs to the front so all the sports are shown. I find the management to be particularly keen on customer satisfaction and that a major plus. You feel safe knowing they are eager to keep the pub a safe family place. The food especially nice here and I so I do often grab a bite during the day.

Food and service was very good as usual. But I didn't enjoy the atmosphere. A foul mouthed customer stood at the bar for most of our meal was unpleasant. I don't like my grandchildren having to listen to bad language in a public place.

Good night at the wernley with good service, but the food wasn't the best. I had the mega mixed grill or whatever its called the onion rings were cold, the rest of the meal was hot though. But for some reason, it just didn't look appealing don't get me wrong, the food was OK it just looked as if it was plonked on the plate. The location was warm and clean and the staff were very nice. Would I go again ? Yes, I would, but it's wouldn't be my first choice.

Ordered from Deliveroo. Delivery time was pretty decent. Food was amazing. All fresh and delicious. Chips crispy and thick. I've so far tried only the beef burger and the chicken burger, both amazing, great flavour. Beef one so juicy it drips with juice when you eat it. Garlic baguette with cheese amazing, the complementary sauce has a really great smokey barbeque taste. Overall really great food. Amazing. Have ordered multiple times from here now and every time it does not disappoint.

The pub was nice and clean and had a friendly atmosphere. The manager on shift seemed nice. One of the floor workers with blonde hair was very loud which was slightly disturbing when eating but she was friendly when serving food. Food was sent out quickly however the pub was not busy, and the food was tasty! I had a pudding (desert shop chocolate waffle), which tasted nice but the waffle itself just was not warm enough and the buttons etc hadn't been slightly melted. Other than those minor details my experience overall was a good one!
