I visited this restaurant on a date with my boyfriend on Friday, and was very very happy with our experience! We usually go to yo sushi next door, but thought we would try something different, and we always liked the look of this place. We had 6 dishes of some of the most delicious food I have ever eaten. The sausage tapas dish (I can't remember the name) was my favourite! And also the potato dish too. The food came out so quickly it was amazing. The staff are so so so friendly and very helpful the whole time we were there. I'm not completely sure but I think the waitress was called Yaiza? She was so nice! Really made us feel welcome and made our experience even better. My boyfriend tried their homemade lemonade and it was so lemony it was delicious! I had the sangria and unfortunately it went to my head a bit since I'd already had a couple drinks, but it was very delicious while I could still enjoy it 😂.

Nice little tapas restaurant in Grand Central above the station, service was friendly, food was mostly good, but probably a little over priced for what it is. We wanted to try something a little different, but probably won't circle back for some time as there are many more places to try and it wasn't good enough to make it onto our regulars list.

The service at Tapas Revolution was speedy and friendly. The staff clearly knew the menu inside out and it showed. We had 6 tapas dishes between us, all of which were fantastically cooked and seasoned, I’d definitely eat here again within a heartbeat. Also the sangria was delicious!

Great experience, authentic feel and friendly staff. The food is awesome and fresh. Great portions. Love that the staff speak Spanish. The tapas are great quality and can be shared or eaten by one/two. Try the tiger prawns, the paella and the potatoes. Also had fried aubergine which kinda tastes like a dessert. I can't fault the experience. And I definitely intend to return. Full of flavor and you won't regret it

I was walking past this restaurant, just looked at the menu and had no intention of coming in. The conversation with Frank the Manager made me comfortable, I decided to give it a try. The service was impeccable, I tried the prawns served as though l was at the beach. I enjoyed the whole experience. The head chef Luis recommended the prawns and came back to see if I enjoyed the. The service from all of the staff was second to none. Lovely 😍 all the staff were great. On the head chefs recommendation, I will be back to try the cheesecake.

Authentic and delightful. The taste of Spain in Birmingham! You could say the best of both worlds. Great staff too, always a bonus. Highly recommended.

Not great. The bread was hard and old. The prawns were rubbery and quite bland. Very overpriced. We sat down and got served straight away, but our drinks didn't come until we'd nearly finished our food. The staff were not very attentive.

Love the serving style here. Nice to sit round the bar and grab some lunch in a more informal way. Food was fantastic (though so try and get one of the deals, otherwise it’s a tad expensive). Cocktails were good (though again, try and grab a deal).

I really wanted a paella but they weren’t serving any rice dish that day. The food was just okay! Great staff though

Really friendly, fun atmosphere. It's actually great to sit at the bar for tapas and drinks. The food is served quickly, fresh and hot. A good, varied, menu with everything at around the £5 mark. It seems expensive but it's good quality and is perfectly suited to drinks with a bite to eat rather than a heavy pub lunch

Menu options limited. Taste is just average. Not so healthy. Most stuff is extremely deep fried as they want to cook it fast.

Staff are nice, the place and the music are lovely. The food is good, tasty and a bit expensive. I got a main dish + one side + churros for 30 pounds

We Popped in on a quick lunch break, received outstanding 5* service from the Amazing Valentino. He talked us through the menue asked our dietary requirements. And recommended the perfect thing for each of us, one of us being a pescetarian and one a lover of spicy chicken. Food was very nice, complements to the chef, and service from Valentino made it a much more enjoyable experience.

Positives : great tasting dishes.. friendly staff.. Negatives : food menu extremely small writing difficult to read : tables too small for ordering a mixture of tapas : tables too close to the next table difficult to have a 'personal' conversation also shopping 🛍 bags made it difficult to get out once the meal was finished.. no finger wash bowls if you order the gambas in garlic and parsley oil only a small lemon hard wet wipe. Maybe I expected more than a very 'rushed & squashed' tapas experience for my £88 for 2 people at lunchtime ?..

This places makes you bipolar... been here 4 times, good twice and not so good twice! Tapas are ok, not the freshest ingredients, paella is just awful!

  • 5/5 Sharna T. 1 year ago on Google
Hola amigos!! Absolutely delicious food and sangria. We had the meat skewers, meatballs, a potato dish, mushroom dish, calamari dish. Portions not as much as other tapas restaurants but I feel the quality was better and the taste. Service was quick and attentive.

  • 2/5 Charlie jade H. 8 months ago on Google
The food is not how it used to be, the portions are smaller than before, we had the smallest portion of chicken paella and it only had one piece of chicken in it!! (food is on a small plate in photo) really not worth the money we ordered 2 paella and only one got brought out to us would no longer recommend

Located in New Street Station, which we always make a point of arriving early at so we can visit this place. Friendly staff, lovely freshly cooked tapas & great drinks, the Cava is spot on.

I just had the best brunch in a while. I have had some Spanish dishes before but from places that were not labelled as spanish and wanted to try something as close to the real deal as possible. We absolutely enjoyed our tapas and we had the shared dessert plate- which was such a treat. We also had the white wine sangria- i was afraid it would not be very good compared to the original red wine one, but it was amazing 😻. I will be back for sure and my friend as well- there are so many other dishes to try out 😍

  • 2/5 Brendan H. 1 year ago on Google
Food was quite nice, portions OK, but it was much, more expensive than it deserved to be. They add a 12% service charge too- which isn't mentioned anywhere, so factor this in when ordering! Shame as food wasn't bad, but will not be going back. I don't mind paying for quality, but there is a limit. For what I spent I could have had two equally nice meals anywhere else. Avoid.

Delicious food. But the service, they took a long time to serve a beer, as the staff were talking, the manager had to ask them to hurry up.

We were met by a red rope and a lady who informed us it was booking only despite the place being almost empty. Quickly booked online and was told "she deals with the bookings in the mornings" and still turned multiple potential customers away. Her attitude was really unprofessional. It's a shame as this is our go to place when doing shopping. Definitely won't return

  • 3/5 Lewis D. 4 months ago on Google
Staff noticed us waiting to be sat but proceeded to ignore us until we called out, service was extremely rushed and very snotty. The food was delicious but very small portions, the "Bread Sharer" for £6.25 was two pieces of small hard bread each with Oil and Garlic Mayo. I was still eating the last 4 bites when the remaining plates were taken without actually asking.

We had a splendid late lunch at the restaurant, delicious food, quick service and a relaxed atmosphere which was needed after a busy morning in Birmingham. Thank you for looking after us Alex, cannot wait to come back! Everything was good in here. I highly recommend.

Beautiful flavoursome food. Great service with a smile. Enjoyed all the different flavors of food which all brought a unique taste. I would definitely recommend and bring my friends and family here. Great atmosphere. And definitely if you never tried a sangria before go for the white wine one it was so yummy. It's certainly lives up to it's name. Calamari was chrispy and just the way I like it. Garlic herb king prawns were not over cooked which some places get wrong. My favorite dish of the night would be the paella with chicken. If you ask the staff for recommendations definitely take It as they know what they are talking about.

I had an email about an offer but when we sat down was told it was for pre-booking only. Maybe add that to the email and Facebook adverts asking people to come in today! Also the Tortilla was hard and dry but the rest of the food was great.

Short wait for a train and bit peckish. Noticed this place as I walked through earlier in the day, so gave it a go. Had the Jamon Croquettes, a glass of sherry and a coffee afterwards. Sat at the bar and watched the efficient brigade go about their work. Felt like I was actually in Spain and the staff appreciated my faltering Spanish to order everything. Recommend for a quick stop or something better - you can almost forget you're in a train station.

There was a fly in my drink. The barman said he would make it again, but I realised he was taking the fruit for the tropical sangria from the same box the fly would have come out from. So I decided to leave. He then poured the drink away, told his manager there was no fly, and proceeded to get security to follow us around for payment of a bill, for drinks that I did not drink...

Evening meal for two, whilst visiting Birmingham. Great service from our waiters, and a good selection of well presented traditional tapas. Slightly disappointed by the small Sherry choice, but the Manzanilla was good. Recommended and will visit again when we're next in Birmingham.

Amazing food and service. This place is always consistent with its friendly and helpful staff. During our last visit our server was friendly and helped us with the menu. The menu was more limited due to covid I'd imagine but there was still a large range of delicious classics and we were spoiled for choice. Great food and great service, 100% recommend
