My friend and I had the bottomless brunch which was the pancakes. The pancakes were fluffy but very filling. It wasn't much bottomless as we only had 2 pancakes. But its worth trying the pancakes as they were nice and presented well. The staff were nice and it was busy. There menu had a limited pancake variety. The price was reasonable.

Food was delicious. Service was good. We were found a table even though we hadn't booked and it was quite busy so we appreciated it very much. Sadly, I took a star off as I don't agree with having a service charge thrown onto a bill without being verbally told or asked. I am usually a very fair tipper however, I do feel people shouldn't be made to tip. We do not tip in other industries where staff earn the same/less than servers so we shouldn't have to tip when going to a restaurant. As I said I would've tipped anyway but I don't think it should just be expected of everyone. It should be a bonus to be tipped and it should reflect a good job being done. It shouldn't be regardless of how your server treats you.

Went in with my parents yesterday, this is the first time I've been to this restaurant. Loved it. I loved the fact there was no music in the place so you could have a chat very easy with the people you had come with. Was told when being seen to a table that we couldn't have an outside one if we wanted food which we did, but later on in our meal we saw a customer sitting outside who had the biggest burger in the whole place. A little sad we where lied to on that part but was very happy about our visit here. Chicken Dumpings and Sugar Cinnamon doughnuts where amazing, and I'll be back for the Bottomless Pancakes in the near future. 😋

To be honest, I have never had a bad meal at any branch of Bill's, but I think this one was the best! We ordered off the Valentine's set menu and every dish we had was exceptionally and surprisingly delicious!! Would highly recommend!!

Best Bill's I've been too! The atmosphere was lively, but quiet enough to talk across the table. The service was fantastic! Our waitress was extremely attentive, informative and hospitable. The food was great, the chicken breast was moist, the jus was beautiful and the fried chicken had a lovely crispy coating. Will definitely be visiting again.

I cannot fault the service one bit. The pancakes were faultless and portion size was filling; they were the best we ever had and would recommend anyone to try them. Also, the smoothies are to die for. Will 100% visit again.

So food was ok, was told unable to use cash or pay on card as only allow 5 transactions per group but only told at the end. My friend ordered vegan curry and was given chicken. Presentation or food was good but overall starter was very bland in flavour was disappointed

We tried Bill’s before so we decided to try out the one in Birmingham for dinner. We went for two 3-course meals since we found them great value for money. The food was delicious and of a huge portion. The environment was atmospheric and perfect for the night. The manager, Mahesh has delivered wonderful service throughout, was patient explaining the various deals and even reminded us student deals were available when checking out. Definitely recommend people to try out when visiting Bullring.

Lovely food, especially chicken dumplings and chicken skewers. Amazing service above all , we had Angela as our waitress, really nice personality , friendly and welcoming , polite and really attentive . Staff in general nice , great location to stop for drinks and a quick snacks. One of my favourites now that I gave it a try .

We've previously been to one of the Bill's in London. The Birmingham one didn't seem quite as good and the menu seems quite limited for dinner at present. However, the staff were absolutely lovely and the food qnd price were good.

Exactly what I would expect from a Bill’s franchise. Although the host who took our order botched it (didn’t write it down), the charming lad who served us fixed it quickly and graciously. The food was on point the second time around. The pancakes were perfect — thick, fluffy and light as air. Love Bills.

Great location. Good food. Good customer service. Fried cauliflower came with an amazing red tomato sauce, really fresh and flavourful. Fish pie was decent, good quality but not outstanding. Halloumi burger was very good. Pecan pie was a nice way to end the meal. Sticky toffee was really soft and gooey with loads of yummy sauce.

Lovely place in Birmingham for dinner. Not far from the city centre and mall, so it’s easy to find. Vegan options are available, I had vegan burger and wine. Positions are huge, but very tasty.

First time dining here 14/12. The waiting staff and bar staff here are amazing. Really good service and nice food. They made our dining experience a good one. I recommend this place and will be revisiting again.

We had a lovely time at Bills in Birmingham. The food was amazing but the main reason was the incredible staff. All the servers we interacted with were fantastic, so attentive and looked after us. Renee was so lovely, honestly such a credit to your restaurant. And the other server who joked that he wouldn’t give us our food until we looked enthusiastic was brilliant. Thank you all! Great dining experience here. I had some lovely chicken dumplings for a starter that were just the right amount of crispy. Main course I had macaroni and cheese with bacon which was piping hot and very tasty. Came in at just under £30 and it was very quick and friendly service. Would certainly go back again.

Really lovely to eat here today outside at the Bullring enjoying the buzz of the city before the start of the Commonwealth Games. Wonderful staff, lovely and clean restaurant, really delicious food, we had the eggs and avocado on sourdough, a simple dish yes but one that often in some restaurants is rushed and sometimes disappoints, not today here, this was a delight. Yes there is an opt out 12.5 % service charge but today this amounted to a tiny £3.26 of the bill, happy to pay this for the marvellous service

Had lunch here for two on last day before national lockdown. Restaurant was clean and we felt safe at our table. Carrot soup, and smashed avacado, egg and feta cheese salad for me, Hubby had tuna tacos and pan fried chicken with mushroom sauce. All food was delicious and quickly served by our friendly and attentive waiter, Chris. Well done Bill's, hope to see you again when Boris allows you to re-open!

Always a pleasure visiting a Bill's! Great food and a warm atmosphere with very friendly staff. This is the first time I had a full breakfast and it did not disappoint ... My only issue was that the waitress, despite how lovely she was did not get my substitute right and that I was also charged twice for the meal and had to try and get a hold of Bill's which was a long process to sort out. Always recommend Bill's and highly recommend visiting in the evening when as it looks so special!

Great place for Sunday brunch. Always such a nice atmosphere and food/drink nicely presented. Affordable and good options, although some food items have been out of stock when I’ve been so that’s knocked off a star, other than that I’ll definitely be going again.

Took my friend here for her birthday treat. The staff were attentive and friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience really lovely. Our food was amazing and value for money. Will definately be back! The cinnamon doughnuts were to die for!

Bills Birmingham. Tried here for first time recently as was seeking an alternative to Nandos ! Really glad we tried it. Food is excellent value , good choices , well cooked and tasted great.The restaurant is well presented, clean, comfortable and inviting. Service is also excellent, specifically Bienvenu (apologies to him, I’ve lost receipt and not sure if I’m spelling his name correctly) was very friendly, knowledgeable, and turned a good customer experience into a great one.

Went to Bills in Nottingham. Really good. So thought I'd give this place a try. Was not disappointed. Would have given 5 stars but card only payments. Mediterranean breakfast/brunch. Good alternative from someone who loves a full English. Makes a change.

Fabulous atmosphere. Great service! We didn’t mention it was our daughters birthday but the proprietor picked this up and gave us a free dessert. Shanola is a credit to the company! Highly recommend them.

As outsiders, from various parts of the globe, we didn't imagine we would find somewhere to eat that would suit everyone....THEN WE FOUND BILL'S! (Birmingham Bullring) The restaurant was very clean, comfortable and pleasant to be in. Our food was wonderful, and the delivery to the table was on point. As for the waiting staff....what can I say. Just PERFECT. We weren't TOO demanding, but nothing was too much trouble for them and they were friendly and good humoured with us all. An unexpected, true 10/10 experience, bang in the middle of Birmingham. Hopefully someone at their Head Office sees this, and at least sends them an acknowledgement of thanks! Would most definitely recommend and visit there again!

Ended up here on a bank holiday. Had to wait in a queue as it was so busy, staff were a bit slow and food was mediocre, ordered a burger medium but came out well done. The place was lively, I will give it another shot for food and service as a bank holiday does tend to drain staff, not that that should be an excuse for the drop in quality and service.

Usually Bills is amazing, but not today. We were seated for an hour before we got our mains, waited a long time for ordering and for the food to come, we had to ask for cutlery and for water glasses, by stopping the servers around which made us feel bad as well since they seemed busy. Maybe hire more staff to be able to provide a good service?

Cosy place, good food and wonderful music & decor. Service is great, very clean and staff and down to earth and friendly. Came with no notice with a group of 5 and we were taken care of. I would happily come back here again with no reservations. Also plus point, the music is really good. Not obnoxious or too common, it's a nice balanced place.

The restaurant has a lovely view of the cathedral. The waiter was very attentive to my allergy and was so kind. The food though felt perhaps slightly overpriced for what it was.

I really like Bills as a chain and often visit different ones wherever I am in the country so went with some friends to the Birmingham restaurant. Disappointing. While the food was really good, the service was poor. 2 out of 3 of the people serving us either had a chip on their shoulder or rude serving manners. I really don't appreciate having someone lean right over in super close proximity and the food in front of me (not out of necessity) even down to a condiment requested for myself being put on the other side of me when it could have been placed closer to the edge of the table omitting the need to lean over. There were so many niggles, even down to an under 10 being near on ignored, given a colouring sheet without anything to colour in with, and just generally no warmth there. Had to ask for sauces as not offered, replacement napkins the server had used from the table themselves due to hot plates and not replaced, we weren't checked on or asked if we wanted anything else etc. Finally I asked discreetly out of ear shot of my guests to have the service charge removed from the bill and then used the bathroom. I got back to the table and was told one of the staff appeared to be extra prickly with them, snatching an item from the table and the way they'd been spoken to by said staff member. Clearly we were not flavour of the month after the request to remove the service charge. We were a quiet table of 4 simply wanting a decent meal in a nice environment with good basic service. Our young guest was polite as were all the adults. Had we been obnoxious demanding and loud I could understand a little frustration but this establishment has a couple of staff who could do with additional training....one in how to serve a table without imposition and the other some manners and/or anger management. The 3rd person that helped us I ensured was made aware she'd been fabulous. Please remember service charge is OPTIONAL.

I found it difficult to decide how many stars to give my experience at Bill's restaurant, because it was a real mixed bag. My feeling upon leaving the restaurant the first time was to give it 3 stars, but I deducted one further star the second time I visited when I discovered that they stopped serving breakfast earlier than other Bill's restaurants. However, upon reviewing the photos of the food that we had on our first visit, I remembered that the Chicken and Sesame Dumplings were truly delicious and very similar to what you might get if you ordered fried dumplings actually in Asia, so I had to bump the score back up to 3 stars. Other than the dumplings, the calamari was rather tasty, with a crispy exterior and a soft inside. The mains were fine, nothing that you'll remember in a weeks time, unlike the dumplings... the Sea bass was definitely better than the chicken though. What really let the meal down though, was the Warm Triple Chocolate Brownie, which both my partner and I were tempted by, but subsequently had to try to force ourselves to eat because the taste fell far below expectations, and "warm" seemed to be defined as barely above room temperature. Other than the food, the atmosphere was fine, the service was exceptionally slow considering how quiet the restaurant was, and the toilet was fairly disgusting. Considering all this, they really shouldn't add a service charge to your bill... but they do.

This is a good restaurant/ bar. The food menu is safe, not terribly exciting but tasty anyway. Plenty of truffle mash options. If you like posh English food then this is very good. It is in a handy location, in the Bull Ring, when you fancy some good food to rest your tired shopper feet and don't want to go too far from the shops for your rumbly tummy.

Food was beautiful. Everything tasted amazing and cooked from fresh would definitely eat here again..service was a little disappointing but everyone was nice. We had to wait a long time between courses and had to ask staff members for cutlery and extra drinks etc as nobody came with the items. It was busy so I understand that but we spent over an hour and a half to eat a quick lunch when we were ready to leave much sooner. Very long wait for everything but staff were still lovely

Always a pleasure going to Bill’s. The interior is stunning, they always serve delicious food and provide top notch customer service. I’d like to mention Hannah was absolutely exceptional and so lovely! 😊 We got the Creamy Spinach Dahl with coconut Rice. It was full of flavour and spices. The portion was huge! Almost didn’t have room for dessert but glad I finished the meal with Bill’s Flowerpot. It’s a chocolate pot with passionfruit cheesecake and chocolate soil - taste like pure bliss. 100% recommend it. Covid measures they have in place are very secure. They have hand sanitizer upon entry and a bottle on each table as well.

Dreadful...$9.50ish for a breakfast that contained 1 sausage, (hard and burnt), 2 rashers of very thin streaky bacon, 2 fried eggs (snotty), toms and mushrooms. They also charge you 12% service charge which on the the bill says optional, but they add it on anyway. Wouldn't recommend and definitely not going back!!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant a little grubby food was average and prices were fair. What I think let it down was there was no atmosphere was not sure what theme genre Bills was trying to be.

The 3 course meal was lovely and well priced. The temperature reading and sanitiser at each table was also a nice touch. In addition, the customer service was very pleasant which is obviously difficult in these times A special mention to a waitress who I believe is called Leah - she was utterly breathtaking.

My own concern was the food which was too hot but otherwise I enjoyed my first visit looking forward to many more.

Folk placed/shown to tables next to one another instead of spacing customers on tables away from other occupied tables. Hand Gel on table had a faulty pump. Elements of "Lip Service" to the pandemic. Several eateries visited on our Birmingham exploration and all very good Covid practises. With Bill's our "always visit" wherever we are in the country we were suprised & disappointed at this venue. 😏

I went to Bill's this morning with my partner to have breakfast after spotting the sign they still offering the 50% off the bill Mon to Wed. We went in and we both really enjoyed the breakfast. After receiving the bill I was extremely disappointed as the bill didn’t seem correct as you had a sign outside saying that you are offering 50% off from Mon-Wed but the bill was full price. When I questioned the waiter regarding the sign saying 50% off the bill she advised it doesn't apply for breakfast. Very disappointed with the misleading banner. There were no signs anywhere to advise the discount can't be applied for breakfast, it didn’t state it on the website either, this is very misleading for customers.

Really nice food and a massive pot of tea. Me and kids enjoyed it and it wasn't too expensive

The reason I am writing is that every member of staff was exceptional. They are friendly and professional and nothing is too much trouble . They are always busy here but we were not rushed and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. A big Well Done to all your staff.
