Nice atmosphere in this restaurant, nice decor. Quick service by staff. We were unable to order via the QR code/app as it didn’t recognise the table number. But staff were quick to take our order and check in on us. There is no salt & pepper on the table but it is brought if requested. The fondue pot starter came with a bread that was a little stodgy but the cheese was absolutely delicious. We had a pizza which was fantastic (the base is so nice and moreish). The chips and broccoli on the chicken dish were excellent but the chicken breast didn’t taste like the best quality. The calamari was nice and crunchy but the batter didn’t have much flavour. Only small niggling issues that don’t detract from the experience. Overall we had a very enjoyable evening with some good food!

I recently visited Zizzi’s and had a positive experience overall. The staff members were attentive and considerate, showing great care regarding my allergies. Their efforts made my dining experience safe and enjoyable. However, the presence of crying babies affected the overall atmosphere during my visit. While it’s understandable that this is beyond the restaurant’s control, it did make it challenging to relax and fully savor my meal. It might be worth considering the possibility of creating a designated quiet room for parents with upset babies, providing a more comfortable experience for all diners. Setting aside the noise issue, everything else at Zizzi’s was impressive. The food was delicious, and the service was prompt and friendly. I would recommend Zizzi’s to those seeking a satisfying meal in a welcoming environment.

The staff were absolutely incredibly - only 2 of them covering the whole restaurant, but we still felt very well looked after. The food was great too - we chose from the 3 course menu and it didn't disappoint! Wolfed down the mains, but here are the drinks, starters and dessert...

As described by a few other recent reviewers the service was really poor. Glum looking staff didn't check on our table, or take orders for starters, mains, or desserts until we called them over - which was bizarre considering the place wasn't nearly full. After one of our party had desserts we were slapped the bill immediately before we'd even asked for it - despite wanting to order further drinks. We essentially felt unwelcome. The food was otherwise pretty good, although don't expect the presentation to be anything like the pictures on the menu! Take a look at the pictures of my lasagne compared to the menu.

The pizza was delicious (truffle & mushroom) and our waitress Zuzanna’s service was exceptional!

My friends and I were absolutely delighted! Delicious food, good atmosphere, nice staff. We always come here when we really want to eat Italian cuisine. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Zizzi is situated in a busy area near the sealife centre. Therefore there were alot of children and families in the restaurant. Consequently the restaurant is quite noisy, because it was full of customers when I went on a Saturday lunch time. Food wise the prices are reasonable, compared to some other of the restaurants nearby. We ordered two mocktails, which were quite expensive. When you look at the size of the glass. The food was good, so no complaints there. Overall the service was good.

Came for food on a Saturday evening. Friendly staff. Food was lovely. I had the beef ragu and it was sublime. The garlic bread was delicious too!

Great food and fast service nothing that I would change about it Clean and efficient too… went for a quick bit and it was the right choice, I do like an Italian dinner so Zizzis’s you can definitely have a good taste of it! Recommend it and I would be back too! Many has lost of options as you can see and they do changes over different seasons!

Beautiful food and service were great. However, it did start to get loud with parties and music. But great experience ☺️

Me and my friend had visited Birmingham for the Christmas market but we decided to take a short walk over to Brindleyplace for a meal and some drinks. My friend hadn't been to a Zizzi's previously but wanted to try it out, she was thoroughly happy with the Truffle and Panceta Carbonara, as was I with the Chicken Calabrese. We had a cocktail each with our meal which were gorgeous! The staff were very attentive and friendly, and we would not hesitate to come again next time we're in the area.

Food was good. The Mrs likes their pizza as they have a thin base and tasty. I had spaghetti bolognese where the pasta was nice but there was too much sauce, especially given the lack of meat in it. We had our baby boy with us and they were very accommodating for space with the buggy and have high chairs. Also on the kids menu do bread and Tomatoe pasta dish for just £3.50 for him. Very reasonable price and he didn't finish it all as only 1. Staff were polite and helpful.

We pre-booked a table on a Friday evening before a concert at the NIA. A sign on the door said it was fully booked when we arrived, so it's best to plan ahead! Even though it was very busy, the staff were great and all took the time to make sure our allergy requirements were met. Drinks and food arrived quickly and were lovely, as were the complementary pasta crisps that came with the drinks. Our allergy meal came with a sticker too which was reassuring. Overall, a great experience with brilliant food and fast service.

Nice and tasty food that was reasonably priced. Vegan options are available with dessert choices too. The waiter was super friendly and really helpful to us and the family who were sat next to us. Excellent from start to finish. It's a shame that I didn't get his name.

Staff are great here, team work and personal service. We sat outside which was lovely, felt like I was on holiday. Food was excellent. The prawns to begin were nice, not spicy like the menu suggests. Just the right amount. The rigatoni della casa was to die for, will definitely come back for that! Mocktails were also great. Wish we had room for dessert. Losing one star due to the toilets. They were dirty, no toilet paper and not a lot of hand soap left. Granted it was 9pm on a Saturday evening, but this still needs to be sorted.

A nice enough meal, we were not offered any parmesan which would have made a difference.

absolutely amazing experience, the food, the service...in a word? fantastic. a member of our party has multiple severe food allergies and their protocol is incredibly accommodating.

Food was great. Reasonable value. Forgot 2 of our sides, soft drinks and booze is overpriced. Can order online from the table which is easy.

Food was great, really love the new chicken thighs calabrese. Service was friendly and helpful but a little patchy. Our second round of drinks arrived after we had finished eating, but they quickly agreed to cancel them from the bill and take them away

A nice lunchtime meal for my birthday at Zizzi Brindleyplace. The food and drink was good, and very tasty, well presented too. Next door to the Sea Life Centre, in walking distance of the Arena and canals.

First time been here today, we’re for a lunch with my friend and came for dinner as well. Ordered a King prawn pasta and was spicy for me so the manager change it to me, got carbonara and really enjoyed it. The manager on the floor was Anna which gave us a warm welcoming. And was leading all the staff to make sure the customers are happy. Well done! Will be back here! Thank you for looking after us so well!💜

Nice place, easy, efficient as it is a chain restaurant, Italian style. Pizza looks huge but the dough is very thin which makes it easy to finish. Pasta are good too. The passion fruit cheesecake is nice 👍🏻 Service is acceptable.
