We were heading for a proper sit down lunch, but running late decided to give this a try. Let's get the price out of the way - its not cheap. We shared a burger, medium fries plus a bottomless coke and said goodbye to 18 quid. Yes it was delicious as were the fries, but if we'd both had a meal (no Meal Deals) the bill would have been over £30. Eeeek.

Fantastic burgers! It is expensive for a fast food place but it was totally worth it. The burger seemed small but they put so much stuff in it, and their patties are so big you realise how big of a burger is. I didn't really like the chips, I prefer the chips more crispy, but leaving the skin add a nice taste to it. Definetly suggest you to try it.

Fries was cold and it was ready long time back. But staff was looking around and I am not sure what he was waiting for. I paid £5.45 for regular fries and I don’t think so it’s sufficient portion.

To make it simple, the best chips I've ever eaten. Scrumptious. The burger was also yummy. There is also a massive selection of soft drinks. The only downside is the price. It is costly—£ 16 for a small burger, medium chips and a drink. Overall, I loved it and will be going back to the five guys, but not too soon, as it is dear for a burger chain restaurant.

It's a nice place to get a quick meal. The food tastes nice and doesn’t take too long to make. However, it's important to note that food here costs more than your average fast food at somewhere like McDonald's The major thing I didn't like was that a lot of tables were really dirty even though it wasn't a busy day

Just wanted to write in and say how impressed I was with not only the food, but also the quality of service I received on what was my first visit to Five Guys, at The Bullring in Birmingham !!! Just had two days travelling back and forth from London, and after an experience to forget in my first hotel which resulted in me walking out to find another at 10.00 p.m last night, I eventually went out to find food about 10.30 p.m Whilst quite expensive , I’ve been told many a time how good Five Guys are and as the store was still open, I decided to give it a go. Once inside there were no other customers in , and Jay, who was busy cleaning, took time to explain how the ordering worked, and that I could have as many toppings as I liked on my burger . Harrison was cooking or preparing food behind him, and overhearing the conversation made his own suggestions and had some banter ! Having made my mind up I went to pay , and realised I’d left my wallet at the hotel 5 minutes down the road ! Despite the time it wasn’t an issue , and I dashed off to return shortly afterwards. Arriving back at the counter they could see how exhausted I was, but they obviously trusted I would be back, as my food was virtually ready ! Unsure which sauce to have on the burger , they puy the hot sauce in a separate pot, in the event I wanted to give it a go, without it potentially ruining my meal, if not to my taste !! The burger itself was made in front of me, and was amazing ! All the ingredients were fresh, care had been taken to prepare it for me, and the Cajun chips , which they kindly switched to a regular size , were fabulous !! The level of service was exemplary, and despite it being 10 minutes to closing, no-one rushed me, but instead Harrison who was now sweeping the restaurant asked on a couple of occasions if everything was ok , before Jay did likewise ! Great food, and wonderful staff made for a brilliant first impression !!!! Customer service is crucial these days and both Jay and Harrison have it in abundance ! Hopefully I will be back !!

So I ordered a bacon cheese burger with cajun fries and a refill drink. I asked for bbq sauce in mine but it seemed like there was none. It was peak time on a Saturday so seating was limited and service time was long. The refill drinks choice was good but the cup was going soft after about 15 mins. The only consolation was that they put some extra fries in the bag. For the price 5 guys should be the pinnacle of burgers yet I feel I would've been better off finding a burger King for a quarter of the price. Overrated burgers not worth the mortgage payment you need to buy one. I was given my eat in meal in a bag, no tray, and the table I eventually had the remains of the last diners.

Tasty burgers, fries were OK but not sure the double frying makes a difference. It's a bit on the pricey side but tastes good and you can order through deliveroo

The aesthetic was very much classic American diner and I really liked that lol. I felt like I was on an American teen sitcom LOL. the milkshake was REALLY good. The "small" fries were also A LOT so that's good lol. I ordered the hotdog which was just okay IMO. I do think the burgers/hotdogs are a tad overpriced. Overall, it was a great first time at Five Guys.

Staff were helpful and polite food was ok think macdonalds would be just as good and for quarter of the price tables and floors were not cleaned after each customer so used a few napkins to wipe mine very over priced for the quality in my opinion but quantity was good don't think ill be visiting again but its not awful just not to my liking paid nearly £35 for 2 burgers 1 fries a oreo milk shake and a refill cup

Amazing burgers. I had mine without bun because I dont like gluten and it came in a cute tray. I ordered 2 regular fries and it easily split between 4 people. Little papers and crayons for kids to leave a picture on the corkboard. Love the drinks machine too coz I love cherry dr pepper and fanta lemon

Good food for good prices and large portions. A little bit to greasy for my taste but otherwise very good. And with the way it was packed with customers when i was there, and how efficiently they managed to get all the food out despite how full the restaurant was, I'd say all in all a good quality experience.

André the server was great. Food was sooo delicious and has changed my mind about Five Guys. I’m a veggie but would so recommend the grilled cheese (with grilled onions!) 😋

Food tastes are similar to other fast food eateries of similar price range. No chicken items on the menu. Shakes and soft drinks are available. Roasted peanuts are available as free snacks. Service is fast but it's very crowded and busy. Expect 10mins waiting for food which is not that bad.

Service was the slowest I've ever experienced. Staff were grumpy and quiet when calling orders out, and the restaurant was filthy, with heaps of rubbish on tables and food on the floors. The food I ordered was overpriced and lukewarm at best. Very disappointing for somewhere that so many others rave on about.

Tried out Five Guys. Birmingham Bullring. 'bout 8pm on a Thursday. Tail end of lockdown. Cashier asked if I'd been before. I said no and she explained the Five Guys proposition. Somehow they called normal burgers little and double burgers normal I ended up with a larger burger than I needed. Can't say it was that big, but somehow it was filling. Really juicy burger. I asked for small fries, but seemed my delivery bag was full of them. No idea if I was lucky or that's the deal. Strawberry cheesecake shake was absolutely gorgeous but too expensive and/or too small for the price. It took ages to arrive for some reason. Overall, tasty, but very expensive. Three times the price of McDonald's, but not three times better. Two times maybe?

Probably the best burger I have ever had in my life. The food was served in decent time (it was fun to see it made fresh in front of you). The fries were divine and the free toppings are an added bonus. The cheeseburger I had was a big portion. Overall worth every penny.

I remember my first meal was delicious, chips and cheeseburger tasty. Today's visit now convinces me that the quality is poor. This will be the last time I visit this place.

Went with my cousin for lunch. Five guys has the best fries. I left there very full.

  • 5/5 Alex J. 2 years ago on Google
Can choose variaty of veggies in your burger. Recommend to take small chips, since even with small cup they'll put extra chips inside the bag.

  • 4/5 Darren C. 9 months ago on Google
Like all Five Guys, the food is phenomenal, the staff are friendly and welcoming but the atmosphere is terrible. Why do they all have to have such hard and uninviting decor? Still they do do amazing burgers and fries so it gets four stars from me.

The cheese burger is quite nice. Customized toppings. The milkshake is quite nice. Some staff is quite friendly. The place is not comfortable. The table is not cleaned and there is no food tray. Random drunk people can come inside in the mid day and shouting. *Credit Card Available* *Washroom Available* You are advised to takeaway or clean your own table.

We love the burgers and fries, they always maintain the same quality level. People here treated us very nicely, and there was no wait at all in lunchtime. The milkshake is also worth having.

Great eatery. A bit pricier than your average fast food restaurant. But it's definitely worth it. Unlimited toppings on burgers and refillable drinks are the thing that makes it worth it. The burgers and massive amount of fries are what brings us back every time!

We ordered hot dog, burger and fries. Hot dog and fries were really good. Did not like the burger very much. This is about a order on 10th of August 2022. The fries were burnt. We did not expect this from Five Guys.

Wow the service was great. I had a fantastic burger with Cajun chips and milkshake with drink. It was delicious! I loved the flexible toppings for burgers and shakes. my cashier was Sebastiana on the receipt. Their services was excellent and they were very helpful. There was also another gentleman who I had a positive interaction with but I didn't get his name he was very nice. I will come back and recommend this place to those reading.

Five Guys make the best burgers and fries. Price is high but portions are ample :) I will be back for more in a few weeks.

Never had it before. It took quite a long time until my order was ready and the restaurant wasn’t very full of people, but this burger omg.. delicious! Just next time I’m gonna take the burger with no bacon, because this bacon is not worth the kcal 😂

Crazy busy as you would expect in a city centre. Food orders taken quickly and then quite a wait for the food. Burger wasn't hot when I got it but it was nice and decent. Mayonnaise machine had ran out and couldn't grab anyone to refill. 1 of the drinks machines also ran out of nearly every 100 possible flavours.

The venue is clean, from entry to open kitchen to toilets, fabulous decor seating areas, exits, covid restrictions in full swing. Gobsmacked at the price list, the food was tasty well put together, but nothing high end warranting £11.95 for a burger and chips, be aware you pay for each item no meals on offer. I wanted a milkshake but at £5.95 I couldn't justify its tiny cup even thou I had the money. It's food I don't regularly eat off plan. For a family of 4 to eat a burger and cups with a shake you're looking at £71.60 minimum. I've had too of the food star food that costs less and left me full, so this is a place I won't frequent often as I was still hungry afterwards....
