Haven't been in ages and was disappointed to see most of the Italian menu gone but alhamdulillah the pizzas were really good ma sha Allah! Thin crust, cooked in a stone oven, yummy cheese! Decor doesn't look Italian at all. Friendly staff. My friend had grilled meat and it was very tender and tasty. Definitely worth going.

Always amazing food here. Fresh and delicious. My daughter doesn't like pizza (gasp) so she gets the grilled chicken wings which are cooked to perfection. The rest of the family digs into amazing pizza each time. Wait can be a bit if busy but that's to be expected for fresh food. They recently opened up the upstairs to sit outside on the roof and it was lots of fun for kids to sit outside. Chips are spot on. Well cooked and crunchy and pizza freshly cooked and delicious. Have been going for years and will continue

I am extremely happy and I am strongly recommend La Vera for their food. All is prepared in front of you,very good quality with an exceptional service. I will strongly recommend this place as it is amazing.

My husband and I ate at La Vera tonight and I must say it was delicious! The ample size of the pizzas alone make the trip worth while. We had a #4 and #13 pizza meal which came with a soda and a choice of a side of chips or salad and a nutella dessert. We went with the chips and a coke. The pizzas were amazing! The chips were seasoned with paprika which was perfectly done. Not too much but just right amount of seasoning. We left there stuffed and extremely happy with our meal. The restaurant was clean and neat. The way they served the cutlery was well done in an envelope which I thought a nice touch. I noticed some had the pasta and frankly that looked very yummy. Expect us again as we left there very happy and very very full! I can't wait to try the pasta next time!

Bestttt halal italian pizza in Birmingham!! We ordered a pizza perugina and a wings platter which was amazing and flavourful!! 😍😍 The vibes are very relaxing and comfortable! The staff is very attentive and available. Highly recommended!

I liked the taste of pizza it was exactly the way i want, only the thing was there was no olive oil, chilli flakes because we were expecting it to be on table, it was our first visit to this place so we didn't know whether to ask server about it or we need to take those stuff from somewhere but without olive oil and chilli flakes also pizza was good i am impressed. Huge space and good atmosphere to be with family and friends.

The food was good but the service was really disappointing. It's my 2nd time being there, both times mistake on the food ordering. And some staff really need to be trained well. Chef and some of them very respectful but some...... we asked for water they gave us in a dirty glass so we asked for more water and ice then the staff said that we have to send 8y old kid to bring the glass of ice Upstairs??? Excuse me !!!! Why do we have to feel like we have been served for free? We didn't ask for a lot . What I'm saying is respect the customers the way you want to be respected as a customer in other places . Thank you.

The food is is quite nice, they do some decent stone baked pizza. Ive have only have the pizza but like to try out more.

As italian I can say that at La Vera you can find really high quality of pizza, fluffy and delicious exactly as a pizza bought in Italy. I gave four stars instead of five, just for the interior look, I think that the interior design and furniture don't match the high quality of pizza. The service is really fast. Highly recommended

Very nice restaurant, staff seemed friendly. Food very good (we had the pasta). La Vera is a little off the main thoroughfare, but it appeared to be fairly popular. Curb appeal isn't brilliant, but the internal decoration is very tasteful. Most people were enjoying nice looking pizzas cooked right in view, so you know that it is done properly. 4 star hygiene rating (out of 5) on the door but I didn't see any reason to think there are any issues.

The Cazole Pizza was Awesome, Highly recommended. We tried the La Vera as well, you can try that one as well.

Maybe great for a lot of people but I found the pizzas to be too doughy, floppy and greasy.. yes its stone baked but needs to be crispy base for true italian style. Personally i will not be going back but am sure the pizzas are great for others based on previous reviews

My first visit was full of delight, the staff are polite even on a busy evening, The staff provided me with the Menu on a large leaflet, I then placed my order at the counter, made my payment and I was given a number sign to carry to my table, you can sit inside or outside, To my delight there was pleasant customer voices all around making welcoming atmosphere, and there's no music which I prefer anyway, My food was ready within 10 minutes, I ordered Sea bass dish, it comes with salad and choice of chips or rice, they serve soft drinks, all was well presented and well cooked, i will be delighted to return soon.

A hit and miss, sometimes the toppings can be sloppy, falling off. This time everything was perfect! They prep and cook the pizza in less than 20 minutes. It's cheap too, a pizza, drink & chips for less than £10. One pizza meal deal is enough for two.

This place is awesome and spacious, the meals was enchanting and the rates were very affordable. rapidly, efficient service and very affable staff members. Highly recommended.

I am a pizza enthusiast and enjoy critically reviewing establishments. Worth highlighting that my review is based on one visit only, therefore please don’t go with solely what I have experienced. Well I and a friend visited this establishment last week in order to try the pizza. I ordered the pepperoni pizza (as usual) and some fries which to be fair was all reasonably priced. The pizza was cooked in plain site within a clay oven which was nice to see. The food did come to us reasonably quick and without hassle. The pizza itself was okay and cooked well. However, the crust got a bit hard and rubbery if not eaten straight away. The size of the pizza I would say was reasonable and fine for 1 person. The fries were nice but make sure you eat them hot otherwise they don’t taste as good. Also they do have condiments on each table, and therefore if you like mayonnaise etc with your pizza then you are covered. Also, if you require olive oil then you must ask as they do have it near the till/cutlery. The seating and decor was sort of bland and uninspiring but acceptable and clean. Staff were friendly and polite. BTW the kebabs on skewers looked appetising but didn’t try because I came to eat pizza not kebabs. Overall, the food won’t be winning any Michelin stars but it does the job.

Beautiful place to eat pizza or BBQ meet. The place is big and spacious has a terrace and upstairs seating. I tried the chicken & Shish plater , it was just perfect……. Lovely and well marinated chicken the chips were perfect , the most natural detox juice ginger and carrot … all was great …. The service was impeccable , the toilets were average they did not have soap.

Halal Middle Eastern food with excellent service. The waiters and staff are happy to assist in selecting your menu. They specialise in grilled lamb and chicken with sides. Food is delicious with a good price standard for a restaurant in a city centre. They have seats for kids and would add more seats for adults happily if required.

Tastiest 100% halal pizza and pasta in Birmingham. Excellent value for money. Good service. Rather good place to dine in.

I would rate it very fair at 4.0-4.2 the pizza is slightly better than your normal pizza food takeaway. - the wings are absolutely delicious! Charcoal wings!!!!! - the interior is okay, not bad but could do with an modest update. Overall I would say because of the amazing tasting wings! It is a 4.0 from the original 3.8 [ previous rating improvement as things have been resolved, getting rid of lazy staff and card machine/customer service improvement.

I go to this superb restaurant often because I enjoy the good mood that is outline this place. The personel is awfuly loving and qualified. The service is certainly quick. Not to mention, the food you eat is magnificent. I came more than once and I was always happy. The expense is decent. I highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

I was casually walking past and came across this shop. I popped in to check it out and the owner without any questions or persuation offers me a drink as a kind gesture. Although I didn't buy anything the shop looked very clean and the food smelt very fresh. Will soon come back and definitely try it out.

Authentic, fresh and delicious - my go to spot when I miss Italy! The closest I’ve found to eating pizza abroad; best stone oven in the midlands, all the character of a great pizza crafted by expert pizzaiolo’s. Highly recommended. 5*

My favourite pizza in Birmingham. I regularly visit here! The flavour is fantastic and the pizza is always perfectly cooked. I don't know why there are negative reviews, I've been going for well over a year and love it every time. There's also a loyalty card which helps (despite the meal being a very reasonable price)! I've forced all my friends to try it too. Can't recommend enough!
