Wood fire pizzas make me feel like i’m in Italy. I absolutely love them. The char on a pizza just makes it better. I discovered otto pizza and immediately went for it. I got the wenlock edge farm chorizo, nduja. Completely exceeded my expectations.

The pizza is good, but unfortunately I found it a bit small, a tad chewy, and quite overloaded. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but not good enough to have my Italian seal of approval. The staff was friendly and attentive and the service quick.

Really nice pizza and a side salad, the gingerella ginger beer was a welcome addition too! It’d be nice if there were some Italian beers like Peroni, and Peroni zero would be great! Service was fine, but it’d be nice if the staff were a bit more attentive! Pizza was lovely though, I’ll be coming again!

The Italian roots are evident in this pizza brunch spot. It wasn’t the pizza that filled my stomach with delight, it was the dessert. If ever you see “homemade tiramisu”, don’t hesitate, order it. Taste, consistency and portion size delighted the senses. The pizza wasn’t bad either.

Probably one of the best pizzas we've ever had. The staff were so friendly and the food was delicious. Whenever I have pizza (especially places like Domino's etc) I always feel dehydrated and bloated following the meal. I felt perfectly fine afterwards. We can't wait to go back and try the other pizzas!

Great pizza and starter. Great beers as well. It is better if you book your table to make sure you don't waste the possibility to have this really good and tasty pizza. The prices are ok, the quality of the food is really good. You don't usually wait to much for have your food on the table. The place is really comfortable and the people that are working there are really kind.

We've been here for a quick lunch on Saturday. Great place and great home atmosphere. The sharing board of meat was big enough for three people and was really good. The meat was high quality and something that you don't find easily in shops, suoer tasty. The pizza were all three good, dought was soft and well cooked. Ingredients on all the pizzas were abountant and tasty. The reason for the 4/5 stars on food is due the presence of capers and pecorino romano on the pizza with aubergines. The combination of them made the pizza a bit salty, maybe a grana padano 12-18 months aged instead a pecorino would be better. Service 10/5. Polite, efficient and friendly. Definitely I will be back.

Nice pizza but not the best, unbeatable price and nice staff. Place a bit small and waiting time can be long during weekends.

  • 5/5 matt r. 2 years ago on Google
2nd time visiting this little gem sand it does not disappoint. The pizzas are amazing and the beer is locally brewed, I have to say this place could make me move to Birmingham. Always going to be a stop when I visit. Highly recommend for pizza lovers and chocolate brownie lovers alike

The staff were very thorough with all allergy requirements, whilst also still being extremely friendly and cheerful. The.pizza.was.absolutely.amazing! There was a very good selection of soft drinks and beer! I would very happily come here again to try anything else they have on the menu!

This is how food should be prepared and served. Every ingredient was of high quality, perfectly cooked and just the right amount. Everything is home made, from the dough to the desserts. Service wasn't bad either. Servers more attentive than the usual you get in Birmingham. Without a doubt best pizza in town.

We had only ever ordered online prior to our visit the other weekend, but we were not disappointed during our meal. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful in advising us with our orders. The food came quickly and was incredibly delicious: the best pizza in Birmingham. We will definitely be returning.

Love this place! Third time visit and always brilliant. Super friendly staff and great service. Pizza is spot on. A little full after the charcuterie plate and pizzas, so we took a tiramisu home (top tip). Can't wait to visit again.

Popped in here for a takeaway as it had plenty of 4*+ reviews. wasn't disappointed. Excellent pizza, reasonably priced, quickly prepared with great toppings. And it was ready in double quick time! I didn't need to go inside but it did look to have nice atmosphere. Recommended.

  • 5/5 Penelope A. 4 years ago on Google
One of my favourite Pizza stops! Otto's is quite rustic & is so typical of Italian pizza eateries It has a real wood burner oven and cafe type tables but the pizzas are wonderful, so very authentic which is what I love about it. There is always a specials board along with the main menu but everything is seasonal and fresh. Otto's is licensed with wines & local beers, lagers. It's located in the jewellery quarter of Birmingham just off St Paul's Square which is a very popular up and coming place to be and in a converted old building amongst very sort after apartments.

This place is an absolute gem. The pizza and brownie was outstanding. Staff are super friendly too. My friend and I got to have a great chat with the owner, which was great, don't really get that in most places. I'll definitely be back soon.

  • 5/5 John D. 11 months ago on Google
Excellent pizza, fast and great service. My only dissapointment was they did not serve italian beers like peroni etc, but had their own in house beers it seemed.

  • 5/5 Alex C. 1 year ago on Google
This place is lovely to be in, the staff are attentive and really friendly. They have great recommendations and I feel like we got the most out of our meal because of them! The atmosphere is great, you can see the pizzas being made and the small menu makes it feel like real food. This place fees like a jewel that definitely deserves a visit if you’re in the area and in look of good food.

Highly recommend giving this place a try! Boyfriend had the special of the day and I had the P5, both pizza's were so delicious that we had to have half of each others! We've been Italy and we feel this pizza was better than pizza in Italy. Definitely will be making this our regular go to for the pizza cravings.

One cannot go wrong with Otto. Its no surprise that its been voted to serve the best pizza in Birmingham. Love the options, especially the double tomato! The tiramisu is crazy!!

  • 5/5 Kayleigh D. 1 year ago on Google
One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. We walked in and got a table for two for dinner, and ordered a pizza from the specials menu and a charcuterie board. The food was obviously very good quality and totally delicious. We couldn’t finish it, but still ordered pudding which was also great. The staff were lovely, and it was a nice environment. Totally chuffed to have stumbled upon this place and thoroughly recommend it.

  • 5/5 Δomna K. 6 months ago on Google
The staff was very friendly and welcoming! The pizza was tasty and the tiramisu if not the best, one of the top you can find in the city. I like the simplicity and the concept of the store. I would highly recommend!!!

  • 5/5 Andy L. 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely fantastic! Food, service and price! Heard about how good the food is from my friends and decided to go on a Tuesday night then afterwards go to the theatre. Service was great, felt welcome from the start and was served quickly. Sourdough based Pizzas were even better. They have many flavours and suitable for meat eaters and vegetarians. The chewiness of the sourdough was amazing and the flavours of the toppings were really good! Finished off with a dessert which tasted like a malteaser. Definitely will go again, pizzas cannot be faulted!

  • 5/5 Ruby Q. 1 year ago on Google
Had the P6 pizza without meat and they were okay with making the changes. The actual pizza was incredible with black spots which (as they say in Italy) is a sign of a proper pizza. Toppings included their homemade jalapenos which were not spicy in the slightest but had a good tang. Staff were really nice, great date place or do what we did and come here with the girls. You won't be disappointed.

Visited on the other day with friends, first time been there not much spacious place, but seems popular by locals as mainly full pack. Nice and cosy atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. Fire stone baked pizza is Bonus of the place and enriching the taste of pizza. Might need to do some work on side sauces.

  • 5/5 Simon E. 11 months ago on Google
This was my first visit to Birmingham and saw good reviews about this place so I thought I'd give it a go! Pizza was amazing and the waitress even flirted me into getting a dessert as well to which I wasn't disappointed as it was also very tasty! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Came here on a Saturday night by chance and was very impressed with the level of service, food and atmosphere. I ordered a vegan pizza and the cheese seem to be cashew nut based not entirely sure but it was delish! Loved the marinara sauce, very flavourful and the dough was very light, spoke to the gentleman and he was it was sourdough fermented for a good few days. Will definitely pop down again next time I visit Birmingham. 💙

We happened on Otto while in the area. We had the most lovely meal in a nice relaxed atmosphere, and the service was sublime, nice people serving good food. We started with the beetroot salad and followed with margheritas. The garlic butter is to die for. A real gem of a place with big heart - if we're in Birmingham again we will be back!

  • 5/5 Laura C. 1 year ago on Google
We walked in last night as a family of four and the service couldn't have been better. Although they didn't have a table available, they booked us in for a later time and made a suggestion for a touristic walk around the area. The food was excellent and the kids pizza deal was extremely good value. We would happily return if we lived closer. We might just return anyway!

  • 4/5 Ellemijn G. 3 years ago on Google
The restaurant looked lovely and the pizzas were delicious (not burnt at all)! The pizzas are reasonably priced as well (you can get a margherita for 6 pounds, although I do recommend you add the buffalo mozzarella for an extra 1,50 pounds).

  • 4/5 Adam S. 3 years ago on Google
Way up there competing with the likes of Francos and Rudy's in terms of dough and flavours. Rustic hipster vibes with local beers.

  • 5/5 Paula G. 4 years ago on Google
I am embarrassed to say that I visited this place every week during the weeks I was in Birmingham. The pizza is fantastic. The service is easy going and chilled yet efficient. The chilian wine was spot on and the home made tiramusu just completes the picture..

  • 5/5 Jin P. 5 years ago on Google
Crunchy exterior but chewy dough, they have a variety of toppings, my favourite was the mushroom that had truffle oil on it that hits you with some strong umami as soon as you take a bite. The extra price for the italian mozzarella on the margherita is well worth it in my opinion. Reserve on a Saturday cos they get very busy. Very much recommend.

This place is my preferable place. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to this restaurant. Whenever I want to go to a decent supper, this place comes immediately to my mind. superb and diverse food and a large list of dishes.trained staff, and great atmosphere. And very important, the bill is honest. I praise this place with great pleasure.

two days ago was the first time we came to that excellent restaurant. But It is obviously not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the attentive service, with the magnificent meal and booze and with the modest price. We will no doubt come back in a short time.

Just yes. Great spot, menu, staff and a beautiful oven. Proper dough, bit irregularity depending, but that's because the machines are dead inside! and pizziolos rule! (If their paid well ;)

By far the best pizza in Birmingham if not in the UK. I have been to Napoli ( L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele a few times) and this is honestly really really similar. You can feel the taste of wood in the pizza. Burned edges and soft from the inside, tomato juice dripping. Have it with the buffalo mozzarella 😍🤤. Staff are really friendly as well. I am a regular there. Would highly recommend this place.
