One of the best food I have had in Birmingham. Staff is super friendly. You won’t be hungry after eating their big portion for sure! The quality of the ingredient is good. Definitely recommend!

Beware they are on UBEREAT advertising as HALAL but selling pork it's not halal.

Your breakfast smoothie (veganised) and a vegan caesar salad are lush. Good fresh food in a good price. Please have more vegan options :)

I used to go here a lot a couple years ago when the owner was quite hands on with preparing the food and paid a lot of attention to detail. Without exaggeration, I can say this this was the BEST wrap I had ever had and the Batata harra (now discontinued) was to DIE FOR. I have tried it a couple times recently and the quality is just not there. Stale bread, cold food and the flavour is just not where it used to be. The new(ish) employees don’t put as much effort into the food and quality unfortunately.

Ordered via Deliveroo we bought the lamb wrap and the chicken wrap the lamb wrap was so dry with really cheap thin cuts of lamb and it was hard to swallow also the chicken was okay but the flavours were too overpowering and the spicy is very spicy the brisket fries are good. I’ve ordered from here before and ate in person their lamb Was better and more juicy than these chips in cuts of lamb I’m so disappointed a place that was once one of my favourites and most recommended has gone downhill.

Absolutely delicious food from Hookways, I can’t recommend enough. I had the halloumi kebab wrap with sweet chilli sauce and fries inside, and a can of Rio on the side. Wow. So good, best takeaway food I’ve eaten in Birmingham!

Must have changed owners since all the pictures were posted, as there are no salad bowls as shown. Also large lamb kebab is now £12.50 which though delicious was very expensive for its size.

I don’t know why the reviews say it’s so good here - just got the chicken and halloumi wrap and it’s soggy- way too saucy and just not nice. The fries are also just standard and baklava too. Waste of money

Went for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised. Such a choice of fresh ingredients and all really healthy. It's hidden away but worth a venture through. Nice to see an independent shop offering something so different.

Really impressed by the amount of variety on offer at the salad bar. Salad boxes offered in three sizes - all reasonably priced. Eco-packaging also a nice plus, would definitely return

This is my favourite place to grab lunch. It has a wide variety of salads, soups, sandwiches, jacket potatoes and some hot food. The prices are good and the food tastes amazing. The staff are really friendly and very switched on when it comes to allergy information. My diet is quite restrictive, however I have so much choice here. I can't recommend it enough!

A really lovely, fresh and vibrant lunch for an otherwise grey day. Great selection for vegans!!! You don't feel limited at all here - and good value compared with other high street lunch to go options. I am one very happy lady this lunch time. 100% recommend.

One of my favourite places to get a fresh salad, just under a fiver for a medium salad box, where you can pick whatever is at the salad bar, there's a generous choice of options and I guess this would be a great option for vegans too. They also do wraps, sandwiches, hot food, and hot/cold drinks also. Worth a visit to the Minories arcade.

I was introduced to Hookway's today as I am in Birmingham for business. I had the Lamb wrap in a Persian naan. The best wrap I have ever had! The lamb was soft and the sauces really complemented the meat.

The food is amazing I’m a massive critic when it comes to good this place was unreal so fresh and tasty all healthy ingredients staff were spot on the lamb wrap and the chicken and halloumi wrap we’re amazing the fried potatoes had so much flavour!! Thanks you for a great lunch 😊

10/10 hidden gem. Went for Lamb wrap. This had so much flavour, was not dry and had pomegranate inside which gave it a lovely surprise or a kick to it. Fries are really good we’ll cooked and soft and fluffy. Queue can be 20 mins but it’s definitely worth it.

I celebrated my graduation today in this fine place. I am glad to say that we had a enjoyable evening and the restaurant was no doubt one of the reasons for that strong meeting. The waiters helped in a pleasant way, the food was extremely good and my friends were extremely pleased. We shall surely return for more joyful events. thanks very much.

I have had food delivered from Hookways and it has become a firm favourite. The food is always delicious.

I've used them a few times for delivery, but was passing by the other day, and decided to order. It was a bit of a wait, but I wasn't in a hurry. I think this place is more geared towards serving the local businesses, rather than the public. I could be wrong, the person who served me was friendly enough, but gave me a card showing how to order in advance. I'd probably recommend a larger location, and more staff, but I honestly don't know what their day to day business is like, I just really like the food!

Ordered the chicken and halloumi wrap. Probably would have given 3 stars until I chewed on two bones. Luckily it wasn’t my child chewing on them. First and last time ordering.

Come here often for lunch and I'm never disappointed. Would recommend the chicken and halloumi wrap meal. Make sure you order online so you don't have to spend much time waiting as they understandably get quite busy!

Lovely food. I had the chicken and halloumi wrap with fries. I would recommend the small, it's quite a generous size, they have the best fries. Very busy at lunch times, so if possible order 10 minutes ahead.

Tried the brisket fries and it was amazing! I look forward to trying the rest of the menu, the price was a little on the high end, however the staff are very friendly. I think a bigger location would definitely help their business grow. It has a lot of potential… keep it up guys!

Hookways catered for our Christmas do. Food was amazing, pitta pockets, loaded fries and batatas haras! Everyone was surprised at the choice and loved it. Will use again. Also much better value than other caterers I had approached. Great work

I ordered the beef brisket hummus bowl, definitely some of the best food I've ever had in birmingham. Very filling despite the regular portion size and extremely flavourful - totally worth the price!

Fantastic, now i don't have to walk for 30 mins and wait an ages at Grand Central to get great soup... oh and it's half the price. One very happy working lunch muncher! We discovered this place last month and it’s become a go-to takeaway. The food is delicious, fresh and made with care. It’s really reasonably pricier considering the quality of the ingredients. I would recommend to everyone. Also if you enjoy baklava they do jumbo sized ones 🤤

Completely worth making a daily journey to get lunch. I have been having the same old few things for lunch the last year, going to greggs or getting a painini etc from chain outlet after boring outlet. I was so happy to find this place and I think it's worth walking a little further to get to. Very healthy, delicious and vegan if you look for that in your food. The halloumi wrap is awesome, pictured here, but the self serve salad is one of my favourites in town.
