Absolutely loved this place. Deprived of an English breakfast for several years we pulled two local bobbies aside and asked where we could get the best one and we were directed here. It did not disappoint. Friendly efficient service. Wonderful menu with something for everyone. Great kids choices too! Scrambled eggs were creamy and delicious. Hash browns are homemade and to die for. Love the QR ordering system, quick easy and no waiting around after you're finished eating. Would definitely come back!

One of the best breakfasts I have had in Birmingham. Went there about a week ago really early morning and the staff was really friendly. The pancakes were perfect and the flavor combinations were just right. However, they should update their online menu since the prices have gone up since it was posted, so it was slightly more expensive than I expected on my visit.

I was trying to find a cafe in the middle of Birmingham whilst waiting for my Daughter's prescription at Birmingham children's hospital. We stumbled upon Boston Tea Party and we went in for a drink. We we're greeted and was told how it worked with ordering by scanning a code on the tables. It had a nice layout and a lovely atmosphere. It was a bit quirky and rustic and had some lovely features....like the painted murial on the wall and quirky taps in the ladies toilets. The staff were lovely, very friendly and came to make sure we were happy with our food. We all had toasties which came with fries on the side....the food portion was a very good size and tasted amazing 🤤.... I did think the prices were a little on the high side which I though my Hubby would whinge at but he even said it was well worth the money....which is a first! So all in all, definitely worth a visit and next time I'll try one of the lovely looking cakes too!

I was always sceptical about English breakfast. When I tried BTP, I was shell-shocked. I went back to this place twice, just to have their English breakfast. The veggie Moving Mountains® sausage is brilliant. The vegan counterpart serves scrambled sweet corn instead of eggs, which I believe is so innovative!

Food is decent, just wish they had a more variety and prices are abit steep. Good place to have breakfast, but if you want lunch or dinner I would choose somewhere else.

I expected a café, but what I got was gourmet! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome and accommodated. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help you enjoy your time. We wanted to get some lunch, and checked out the menu which you can access and order from via their website (QR code on the table). We did not verify whether you can order in person, but it did seem that you could. Food and drinks ordered, we began to wait. But wait for long, we did not. The drinks arrived so quickly that I wasn't even sure it was our order! One of which was a latte! Immediately impressed. But what impressed us even more, was that the burgers and cheese toastie arrived shortly after. Quicker than you sometimes wait for a drink to arrive at other establishments! The portion sizes were just right, and the quality and flavour of the classic burger was incredible, justifying the slightly higher prices than what we expected (or hoped for?). The food is definitely worth it! As mentioned, the staff are brilliant. So friendly and efficient! Highly recommend paying them a visit and seeing what they are all about!

If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would! Lovely open plan restaurant and friendly staff. There is a huge selection of food and drinks on the menu, you really are spoilt for choice. Hot drinks can be made with vegan, gluten-free. Everything is homemade and freshly prepared, the hash browns were huge and both meals were delicious. The service was very quick and food came out, as and when it was ready. The atmosphere is very relaxed here. You need to visit.

First time here. Good location and we loved the breakfast. Coffee was great as well. Ordering system is really efficient and the website has all the items with pictures and description. Only minus point was that the staff who was working kept making lots of loud noises while moving the chairs. It was a bit too annoying and it wouldn’t stop. I would expect a cafe to be calm and not too noisy.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE This place... Locally sourced, organic, fresh quality food and drinks. Best coffee in Birmingham! Also, we made an order to come to the children’s hospital it forgot an item - they were absolute stars adding it in for us for free. Huge breakfasts and very yummy!

Ordered here online and breakfast (blueberry pancakes assortment) came fast and tasted great. 100% satisfied, thank you! Even through this troublesome COVID period, I am glad BTP are operating via Deliveroo. Highly recommended

LOVE IT! The service was so nice, the staffs are friendly. AND THE FOOD&BEVERAGES are so yummy, my fav is the mango lassi as you can really taste the mango (feels like a real mango, those you would find in asia, iykwim🥺) so refreshing love it. Unfortunately i didnt take piccy of it. I also ordered their chai latte and cookie. So comforting They got branches in other town like Leamington Spa. You should pay a visit!

Came to Boston Tea Party after seeing a recommendation for breakfast on Google (being desperate for food after pride), and was not disappointed. The food was top tier, packed with flavour and great portion sizes. We had to wait a little while for a table, but Ella was amazing and kept us up to date with what was going on, how long the wait was, and how their ordering system worked. All the staff were super polite and helpful, and we will be back for more the next time we're in Brum!

Covid safe, ordering system ok but long winded, nice looking cakes, nice coffee, food was a very long time and not as expected due to price point. Extremely loud, someone in my party is hard of hearing we were uncomfortable, asked for a quieter table and were told there's nowhere quiet.

Called in one early morning for breakfast. The staff were friendly, welcoming & helpful. Nicely laid out seating & a good atmosphere. A good selection for breakfast on the menu, all reasonably priced. Service was quick & our food looked & tasted delicious. Definitely worth a visit when in Birmingham!

Do yourself a favour and visit this lovely restaurant Boston Tea Party. The service is unmatched, especially Christina ! The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best lunch we had while in Birmingham. Highly recommend!

Such a wonderful eatery and so well placed. Tom the Chef went above and beyond for my visit and the staff have certainly left a lasting impression. The me I is warm, welcoming and very reasonable. I come to Birmingham occasionally and this is now going to be a regular visit. If you are in Birmingham or are visiting soon, you NEED to visit! A must on any trip!

Entered the door and was behind another group yet was served very quickly and given menus and instructions on how to order, allowing ourselves to choose our own table. After conversing and choosing our food and drinks, a server came quickly to take our orders, and I would say less than 5 minutes later; in a busy environment, we were served with drinks and our food. The burger I had (Classic burger) was incredible and delicious, not waiting one second to eat after the first bite, with the chips crisp, the meat tender and the cheese soft melting in the mouth, with the garnish being that extra flavourful kick. My acquaintance, who is vegetarian, was able to find a large selection of meals to have, and although her first choice of food was not available, an easy switch was made and she enjoyed it nevertheless. After we were finished, servers came to our table and collected our plates, allowing for a swift and easy exit. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend to all and hope to visit in the future.

When it comes to breakfast coffee you either want it one of two ways. Fast or delicate. Boston Tea Party keeps raising the bar higher as their approach shows that you can do both with a touch of finesse and I was blown away by the delicate notes of their brew. Firstly, the foam art on the top was terrific, a small foam leaf gazed back at me while I contemplated the ratio of the drink, astounded that I have finally ordered a latte that represents what I make at home. It's smell was that of a fresh dark roast coffee, and the taste was sublime. This is the best coffee I have reviewed so far by a landslide and will become my breakfast place from now on. We did have a mix-up with an order that me and my friend had where our dip was not served with our dishes but instead 3 minutes later with a different friend's dish. This had an awkward exchange which was rectified while we discussed the issue, overall making us seem foolish. The menu has a large variety of options and my group of 8 were all able to find things that suited their tastes.

Amazing breakfast. Dylan's customer service was spot on. Amazing lad. We normally have their Vegan Breakfast, but went for the Vegan Breakfast Bowl with Halloumi today, and in all honesty, it was amazing. Not too filling, and not too light either.

Fantastic experience as always. Food was great and the service was excellent. Food is always beautifully presented and of course the quality and taste is there too. I even got a free cake as it was my birthday. It definitely made my day. Thank You much Christina for providing excellent customer service 😀

Beautiful cafe with a light industrial theme. Food was perfect. (I’d always suggest tomato and avocado on a veggie breakfast but that’s just me). Accept blue light card which is hard to find these days. No complaints from me! Well worth the visit and I’d go back!

I have started going to this location for food and drinks whilst attending to business nearby. Miss Tia is an angel in disguise. I appreciated the warm, very considerate and caring service I received from her on 04/12/2023. Her intuitive response and approach to a woman in distress is to be very much applauded. I appreciate the warm and calm atmosphere of the the shop. The food has been nice and I’ve ordered the same item more than once. In general, the staff are all lovely and I would also like to say a big thank you to Miss Tia and Mr Tom. Wonderful staff members

Lovely space for breakfast, brunch or even a quick coffee. They have a great selection of breakfasts, the vegetarian English breakfast is filling. A little pricey for a English breakfast, but quality hash browns and beans. Could give a little more beans though.

Great food! Great service! Great one to one interactions! A wonderful and inviting ambience! The perfect place to eat, to drink, and to socialize. And while you are there pick up a reusable cup in a mixture of colour combinations and get 25% off your drink order the next time you come back! Love it!

I feel like I've landed in an Texan diner in a hipster Austin neighbourhood. I had the smashed avocado on rye bread with poached eggs. A virtuous breakfast to fill your tummy before a day at work! The soy cappuccino was also very good. You can veganise a few things on the menu if that is your thing.

Absolutely amazing! Considering we are in the mist of a global epidemic, Boston Tea Party sure made me and my 1 year old son comfortable. The ordering system was easy to use. The food was ready within a flash and was perfect! By far the best place to have a amazing breakfast in Birmingham by far. The food was glorious hot and tasted fresh! The smoothies are also amazing! Will definitely be going back! Thank you so much guys for an amazing breakfast!

Brilliant service and food at a reasonable price. It is the vest ice coffee I've had in a very long time. Orders were made using our phones by scanning a bar code on to our phone ... sorry, got too busy to take photos, but a really nice place inside, like a converted warehouse ...

This is a very nice cafe/restaurant with nice staff. We visited around 11am on a Friday morning and it was great. It's a very large venue with good social distancing and good ventilation so perfect to visit for a quick meal without too much risk. The menu was a bit limited compared to the menu online but everything was perfect. I really appreciated the restaurant utilising table service and QR code menus before it became compulsory.

PROS: - not too far from the main Birmingham area, but at the same time in a not too loud of an neighbourhood (at least that was the case on a Saturday morning), - spacious and interesting interior (there are sockets to charge your computer if you wanna come and work here), - lots of treats and other breakfast options (locally sourced), - OK coffee and tea, - price/value reasonable, - friendly (but a bit confused) staff. CONS: - they could do with some more breakfast options and perhaps cream teas in the afternoons, - pancakes were too dry and tasted too doughy.

Great food! We go to Birmingham often and my favourite café/restaurant is Boston Tea Party. The food is delicious breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner or just a snack it's all delicious. Occasionally, the service is bad but it's all worth it in the because the staff are lovely and if you're going to Birmingham to go to the children's hospital nearby then it's a good treat to go afterwards. I highly recommend.

The pancakes are a must try!! Delicious. They are dog friendly too! Really enjoyed our visit here. My dog was given a bowl of water on arrival which he helped himself too, this was a nice touch. It’s on Corporation Street by the law courts. I’ll warn you now, parking is a nightmare in the week, I managed to find a space not too far away by some miracle but I’d recommend getting the bus or walking from New Street or Moor Station but that’s a bit of a walk. I will be returning to try the rest of the menu.

I went in for a vegan breakfast. It is not the best breakfast I've had. I can make better at home. I thought I'd go as it is always talked about amongst my friends but I was not impressed. Very standard.

  • 4/5 Tom B. 3 years ago on Google
My partner is vegetarian, so when we saw the menu had full breakfasts, with vegetarian and vegan options we were through the door. The interior was what you would see in a young, modern cafe of today. Wooden, rustic, modern and minimalist. My partner had the veggie full breakfast, and I had the big one. The breakfast was delicious, with the menu allowing you to add and remove certain items you may or may not want. The hash browns are my addiction with fried breakfasts. The onion in them were strong, and peppered nicely. The scrambled eggs were creamy and fluffy. I’m not a fan of bacon, but in hindsight I’ve should have removed them from my breakfast, anyone who like bacon and pork, would’ve surely enjoyed them. The staff were friendly enough when we could communicate with them, but with today’s situation. Minimal contact and online ordering, through no fault of their own there was little customer service. This won’t affect the final review, as this can’t be help others guidelines in health today. I’ll give The Boston Tea Party Birmingham 4/5 +Good Food +Good Environment +Customer Service was good when available +Prices are little higher for a English breakfast, but delicious and are good for a treat and eating out. - The only fault of this restaurant is that this is apart of a chain and a not an independent local business. I always find a loss in character and charm when it comes to a larger business. Delicious food, and a possible revisit in the future.
