What a scam shop, we found that beared guy added extra items to our bill when we checked our receipt and ask a refund for those items he said no refund policy must have the good which we didn't even order and had an argument with us. We called the police and report their bad and threateing behaviour. So keep safe and avoid these scammer as long as you not drunk.

be careful make sure you read the menu or they'll take the piss. they won't tell you that it can be cheaper if you order one of the meal deals. I ordered pizza garlic bread pizza and chips.they automatically gave me large because I didn't say charge me 20 quid....11.99 for same on deals # robbing cu@ts

Don't ever eat here. I've never eaten such bad food in my life. So dry and so expensive. Nearly all rice and bread with very little meat. What a terrible food!

I recently tried an expensive kebab that promised to be a Taste of Turkey, but unfortunately, it was more like a cut of leather. I swear, I felt like I was gnawing on a shoe! Maybe I should have ordered the shoe instead, at least it would have been cheaper and probably more tender. Search for Shaks Fish Bar & Peri Peri much nicer and less expensive!

I can't verify the scam claims, but so many people have said it, that I would be aware of that. I don't think the type of person that comes here is exactly looking for fine dining. But even then, the food was very bad. The kebab was much too oily, even for kebab standards. There was no flavour at all, and the chilli sauce was terrible. More like ketchup than any decent chilli sauce. The chips were okay, but wasn't enough to save this at all.

SCAM SCAM SCAM AVOID! I ordered food from Food Republic today at 5am on Deliveroo on the app on google it says they close at 6am. I waited for 2 hours still nothing turned up also on the app it said delivered when they haven't bare in mind I've been trying to ring them over 30 times with no success i didn't receive no refund no apology no food either i would 100% avoid this place they need to update their number and stop scamming customers by taking payment not delivering the food saying its delivered horrible place. By the time i realised they weren't coming all the other places were shut so couldn't order from another place. I was starving i work night shifts i felt really angry and let down please avoid this takeaway until they improve which i highly doubt they will judging by other reviews on here AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Awful they took payment straightaway then after 10 mins order was still waiting to be accepted.cancelled order only to find out email confirming refund had not taken place until 2 days after cancelling the order.would advise steer clear restaurant had cheek to send me a email to rate the service.u cannot rate non existent items. Costs r bad enough without companies taking payment before they can committ!!.

We have visited here a few times on various meets with friends. This time I was with my children & they are such fussy eaters and they absolutely loved it! Friendly staff, Great sense of humor…Very happy Londoners here :)

For the love of God do not order from this God forsaken place. There were 2 items not made to my liking and I was juggled about from person to person. They did not give me a solution nor processed a refund as an apology and had the worst customer service known to man. They do not know how to treat customers. Scammers

I WISH I COULD HAVE GIVEN A ZERO review for them, I had placed an order at 7.30pm through deliveroo as my daughter was wanting to eat from food republic. I was not keep to order from this place as previously they had messed my complete food order. We waited till 8.30 as the delivery time mentioned was 8.15. I checked deliveroo app and it was showing as rider is on his way. Thinking it may arrive in few minutes i further waited till 9.00pm. I got upset However and called the restaurant who answered the call took my deliveroo order number and hung up. I tried calling them back nearly 50 times and the line was busy. I checked the app again and it was showing as food delivered whereas it was not. Just felt so disgusted on how these people treat their customers and update incorrect details. Never ever will I order from this place. Just disgusted.

Big portion of food, will fill you up. Prices are not too bad they are in line with other places close by. Definetly cone try this place at least once. Can get busy especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

Awesome food with great taste. Service is also superb. We were a bunch of 4 and it only cost us 5 pound per person for this mind-blowing meal with cola 😋.

Made an order at 4.15. Order has not been updated or received and it's now 5.50. This was for a 6 wing meal. You can't call them either as their phone line is constantly engaged (they've basically taken the phone off the hook). Shocking service, I made the order on Uber Eats and will not order again from them. I wish I had read the other reviews before ordering!

Food republic is conveniently located in the middle of Broad Street. It serves mainly kebabs. During my visit, I had the chicken kebab in naan and fries. The portion sizes are big but the food tastes bland and overall quality is not great. Moreover, what they call naan is actually some kind of ready-made wrap. Service is not that great as there’s a wait for the food & staff are not polite. I was also not given my 1 pence change. I know it’s only a penny but as a matter of principle, I expect to be given the correct change. I would recommend to avoid Food Republic, unless if you are desperately hungry. Even if that were the case, there are plenty of other places to eat at in that area, for example Jimmy Spices which is an all you can eat buffet costing about the same.

Forn convenience decent place to eat For lunch. Pizza was good and drinks decent price not to over the top and it's Halal. So if your around its convenient to grab a bite.

Where do i start with this place i orderd off deliveroo, after placing my order i left a note in the comment box stating i couldnt come out to collect my food as i had covid symtoms the driver arrived calls me telling me he can not come into the block as he not allowed i told him clearly that i can not come out due to having covid symtoms, so had no choice to go outside to meet the driver who was very rude, when i came inside opend the food it was horrid the pizza looked like it been bashed the fries were stale cold and the cheese burger never had no salad or sauce £14 worth of foos gone in the bin, i tried calling the shop but no answer SO LEAVE ME WITH NO OTHER CHOICE BUT TO LEAVE A REVIEW AVOID ORDERING FROM HERE GUYS RIP OFF AND U WILL ONLY GET COLD STALE FOOD NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!

The words p&£s up in a brewery come to mind. Waited over 30 mins for my lamb shesh kebab to arrive and it was without doubt the most disappointing end to a night ever (and I’ve had a few disappointing nights in my time with a face like mine). You might be drunk and in desperate need of food but order it online and save yourself the wait and disappointment.

Food was delicious, delivery on time however we’ve ordered kebabs with sauces and they weren’t included. Delivery guy said something is for free, ordered from Uber foods and they showed free garlic bread for orders over £15, therefore we did not receive that. Food is okay however without sauces dry.

I've come here around 6 times this week and it's awful! Once I was forced to pay twice for my food another time they charger me more than what my order was, and today I paid for my food with £20 and the staff tried to keep my £6 change. It doesn't matter how much change it was but 3 times now they've tried robbing/scamming me out off extra money. Everytime I approach the situation they have an attitude. I ask to speak to the manager and everytime get refused.

Nothing special, stingy, overpriced, they dont take orders on the phone so you have to go to the shop and in the end they don't have what's on the menu with the months old excuse it's an old menu so you can understand that if they can't get this simple thing right then how many other things they cant.. Frustrating. Morissons up the street does a much better food job for less and they actually always have what they preach

Dry and tasteless food. A steady stream of people who had clearly been drinking too much came in to grab fast food. They probably had no taste buds left when they came in so I guess it made no difference to them Also they don't serve tap water. You have to buy the water. How low can some business people go just for money. Just turn on the tap and let people have plastic cup of water. Why charge them £1.50 !! Never again

Giving 1 star just bcz cant give 0. Me nd my friend been here on a wednesday night,first nd last time. Prices doesnt match neither quality or service. We paid 16£ for a chicken kebab and fries that plastic tastes better with no drink included (basically McDonald's its cheaper nd better). While we started to eat other people started to come in and i think the owner just to show his staff he was helping with something for how busy they were he came out of nowhere nd started to sweep right next to us while eating,very smart,i like dust in my fries instead of salt. But this is not the reason im giving 1 star usually i never lose time on reviews on places like this actually i never leave reviews but this time i assisted to non human behavior never expecting it from people like muslims. A girl was ill outside nd she was freezing for how cold it was so i gave her my coat while someone else got her some water,after that i tell her friend to bring her in the shop as she was shaking for how cold it was and one of the staff came out nd said no coz he could get in trouble for just letting in a poor sick girl freezing to just sit down inside nd warm up. This is unacceptable like ive never seen such inhumanity in my life nd never expected this from muslims. Basically this place just gets advantage for its position of wasted ppl. disgusting place. Avoid it at any cost.

Generally decent. Pizza, Fries, chicken, burgers. Pasta meals during lunch times. Be mindful they take your order correctly. One of the staff does not pay attention.
