Great day out with the Kids. Loads to do for them. Thomas Land was a hit. The new Vikings area looked fun too, it's a bit small though and the queues were really long even for a weekday. Toilets kept nice and clean, staff very helpful, however shops are a bit pricey, you'd think with the amount you pay for tickets they wouldn't try to rip you off in their shops.

First time I've been here, and I'm a big fan of theme parks. Yes it's not Thorpe Park or alton towers, but it's got some great thrill rides. It's definitely more for families, but don't let you put you off. It's a beautiful looking Park with great theming and plenty to do.

Really good theme park for kids. Unfortunately my 3 year old was just a little to small to go on any of the rollercoasters as minimum height was 1m. But he could go on the majority of the flat rides which he loved. Thomas land was a favourite of his. The hotel was wonderful, with the Thomas rooms being a highlight. The little goody bag in the room was brilliant.

What a blast! So much fun for kids and families. The rides are very size restrictive. The park is worth a two day visit to make sure you have enough time. The hotel is very comfortable and well appointed. The customer service is top notch. The zoo is great. And it is worth the £20 to get all the digital photos.

My son and I had a great day at Thomas Land at Drayton Manor. Great little rides and lovely zoo. We even got some free mice pies and a money box. My son has already said he wants to go back. There was a show on too every so often which was interactive. Great day for everyone.

Lovely day out with the kids. Thomas land was very good despite 3 rides being closed. Dino park is nice but a bit overgrown. Zoo is nice for a stroll.

This is an excellent Theme Park, heading in the right direction. The improvements made over the last couple of years are awesome, and with a new coaster opening next year we will definitely be back!! We've had 3 amazing visits this year, the staff are lovely and there is good and well priced food, game stalls and merchandise. The Halloween decorations, The Haunted Express, Castle Of Shadows, DJ and Halloween atmosphere overall was incredible with fireworks to top it off! Fantastic days out each time.

First time coming here with the family and I think we picked a good time of year to come, Halloween 🎃. Got in around midday and managed to get on quite a few rides before it got too busy. Some of the rides were out and some others had a few issues through the day was a bit irritating, but managed as still alot to offer. Had lunch in The Burger Kitchen fantastic layout very clean and tidy everywhere. Only negative on that catering staff in there seemed abit lost had to keep checking orders correctly or not sure what was next on their list. Food itself 3 out of 5. Longest we had to queue for was the Halloween Mansion, rain 🌧 didn't help the before experience think there needs to be something else in place when waiting to go in and then didn't think it was that great done similar at LegoLand and their one was better. Fireworks were fantastic in the evening. In all a great visit thinking on going through the resort for next year sometime, try a whole weekend.

Been to Thomas Land twice now and I have really enjoyed both occasions. There is plenty of things to entertain children of all ages from carousel's to 'hook-a-duck' and that's before you experience some of the more mainstream attractions. If you have children who are about 3 or 4, about 1 metre tall, then they will get on almost all of the rides (especially accompanied by an adult). Also, many of the rides are geared up for groups of 4 so this is ideal if you are a small family as you can all get on the same part of the ride. You should expect to queue for rides but, to be honest, there is enough there that you can skip to the next ride and revisit others later if they look particularly busy. We did this and managed to get on everything we wanted to with no more than a 10 minute wait. The park's hospitality is very good if a little pricey (but I guess places like this often are!). The shop has improved in terms of size and their product range is vast with lots of different track and train engine toys, school accessories and clothes. There are several toilets (including baby change facilities), places to eat and spots to just chill if you want time away from the busier areas. Lastly, it is also a very magical time to visit when the do their special Christmas theme with Santa show and fireworks! All in all a great day out. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed. I would highly recommend.

Absolutely large park! It was quite overwhelming at first but I had to sit back to ask my son 'show me the rides you want to go on". He is a fervent Thomas and friends fan so we eventually spent 80% of our time in Thomas Island by the end of the day. We checked the zoo too, it gave us some quiet walking time.

Brilliant day out. My fav ride, storm force 10 but it kept stopping then a fight broke out and one lady Got her leg trapped getting of the ride. All adding to extra long waits. Yes you REALLY do get soaked but it’s fun. Long drive to park up, got in reasonably early but the queues soon build up. Lots of rides for children but they must hit a height marker to ride alone, unfortunately I was expected to go on these kids rides which give me vertigo so the kids were sent off quite a few rides. Great day though. Just one more important point. FOOD AND DRINKS SHOCKINGLY EXPENSIVE. If your on a budget, take your own. Ie one small bottle of coke £3.10

The best day out we went for my sons 7the birthday as he’s a big Thomas Fan. He absolutely loved Thomas Land such a lovely experience for him. The main park is very big full of loads of different rides my daughters loved each ride they went on. Plenty of shops on site refill cups available for hot or cold drinks. It was raining when we went so opted for the hot drinks option until the sun came out. There is also a zoo on site which was nice to see all the animals We booked our tickets online so it was super easy to just show our tickets on arrival and walk straight in. We stayed at the Drayton Manor Hotel which was such a lovely place we very much enjoyed our time at the park and resort

My experience here was FANTASTIC!! This is a brilliant theme park! It has got everything (and more) that I was expecting. I really enjoyed my ride on "The Accelerator" and I got such a rush from "Maelstrom" that I will never forget. Truly a mind-blowing experience! I visited the zoo afterwards and saw a Tiger for the first time in my life. I was really excited about this. My only regret is that I didn't come early enough in the day, so I couldn't go on many rides, as the lines and queues are quite long, particularly for "shockwave" which I was really looking forward to, but couldn't experience. Next time, hopefully.

THE BEST PLACE TO VISIT WITH YOUR FAMILY!! I visited there recently with my husband and 3 kids (one baby) and let me tell you we had such an amazing time😍😍 The rides are superb and fun! Although few of the rides had age and height restrictions, I must say they have plenty of rides suitable for everyone. My kids were truly happy and enjoyed it so much especially my 1 year old 😆 To our surprise there was a zoo too which had many animals. They have playgrounds, trains and games too. I must specifically mention that they had halal chicken which is rare to find at such crowded places. I enjoyed the food so much 😍 Just wanted to suggest if they have something where the kids can stay and someone to look after them when the parents enjoy the rides will be really helpful. Because grown ups want to enjoy the rides too ☺️😆 I will definitely recommend it to everyone. It’s a must visit if you want to take a day off and visit with your family and friends.

This place is ideal of children and teenagers. If you don't have any children I think you'll be disappointed in the thrill rides - they're good but there aren't enough to justify the price. The park isn't massive, but it is maintained well. The food at these places is expected to be overpriced but surprising better quality than assumed. The water ride was A+, but beware you will get absolutely soaked! Lots of parking, great for kids but needs a bit more magic. Worth trying if you're local and can get a deal on tickets.

Amazing day out, so many fun and interactive activities on site and a great range of themed Thomas and Friends rides that can be enjoyed by even little children. Also great addition of farm area and dinosaur walk too. 5 stars would definitely recommend

Fabulous time at Thomas Land at Drayton Manor. Our boys loved every minute, not even the rain could spoil it. Wasn't too crowded when we visited so all queues were pretty low therefore getting on rides was quick. Good range and options for different ages. Plenty of food serving areas too. As we were staying over at the Drayton Manor complex we were able to skip the entrance queue as well.

First time visiting the resort and loved it. I traveled from London yesterday and the visit was well worth it. I purchased the tickets online a week before my visit and paid £130.00 for fast track including parking fees. The fast track ticket price was on special offer. There are more than enough toilets around the park, a nice variety of rides for all ages mainly for 6-14 years old who will enjoy the most and nice options for halal food although expensive. I strongly recommend you should get home made food and easy access pass or fast track pass. The queues for the rides are long and can be frustrating during school holidays. I am so glad we as a family of 5 brought fast track online tickets and managed to get on every ride we enjoyed twice. As I went on school holidays it was worth having a fast track pass.

Always a fun day out - with Thomas land being accessible for little ones it is a great first theme park to explore and the height restrictions are decent so even at 90cm (about three) there’s loads to go on. Plus the zoo and additional play areas and Thomas train ride means there is a lot to do. We love visiting for seasonal events - there’s always good offers on just after Xmas

We have visited this park so many times and it never lets us down. It is such a beautifully themed park. Our Little boy loves the rides in and out of Thomas land. Would highly recommend going when you can experience the park in the dark as they light it up so well and gives it a magical feeling. I do feel as though since the new ownership this will be the park to watch in the next few years.

Bought tickets and paid £6 car parking online. Not a great deal to see at the zoo but can get a train back after a wait around 1/2 hr. Thomas the tank rides were free if waited around 1/hr for the less popular ones. 4hrs there must have waited 3 hours to get on 5 rides that lasted 11 mins. Biggest let down is the shear amount of closures.

Had an excellent day at Drayton Manor. Great family fun. Park was clean and staff very helpful and rides excellent. If you plan on eating maybe take your own food and have a picnic as food prices are a bit expensive but still tasty and convenient if you hadn't taken anything. Parking was ample and not too far away from the main entrance. Overall an excellent day.

As theme parks go, I'd rate this one quite highly. There are a lot of various rides that I've never really seen before or experienced. Unfortunately there was really only one which my son could go on accompanied. So he was confined to the thomas land part of the park for rides. There are a couple of "park" areas like climbing frames and slides etc so all was not lost while we went on 'big' rides (obviously one of us was watching my son!) Plenty of food and drink places dotted around but also lots of places to eat a picnic too. Advisable to book ahead of time. You can arrive, walk to the gate and scan your way in, rathe than stand in line for tickets. Disabled parking is past the normal car park, right in front of the main entrance. You have to flag down a member of staff who is in the car park and tell them you need a d.space. They will advise you and let you drive through. Parking is £6 for the day. One thing that bugged me a little was the wait in line for one ride was around 30 minutes. As we got closer to the front, we noticed that despite the ride being quite busy and the weather being unbearably hot, every time the ride set off, the staff were leaving up to 7 seats empty per time. Instead of making people sit together or asking if there were any single riders or groups of two etc in the line. It was just a bit irritating given the situation! You can leave the site and re enter. You can get a stamp on your hand which is dated.

Been Twice now on peak days and it’s been quiet and so much fun. Recently went for the Coronation Street Event. Managed nearly 30 rides as rides were open til 8pm. The Easy Pass system works really well compared to other parks and all the staff were so friendly. Definitely Recommend 👍

Would have been OK. But way, way too many people.. meant extended waiting times to go on any rides... Would hurt their revenues but they should limit number of entrants to balance and make the experience more enjoyable.

Don't bother coming here if you only wish to attend the zoo. You cannot just buy a ticket for the zoo and have to purchase entrance to the whole theme park. So angry as we also had to pay £5 just to park, when we were only the property for all of 10 minutes... Dissatisfied, unimpressed. Day ruined

It is a good place to visit ; however we were not able to access all the rides due to Covid-19 restrictions (some rides were closed due to social distancing measures which I completely understand). My son also enjoyed the visit. There were rides for both children and adults. The small zoo is an added bonus and it’s good value for the ticket price . We were able to see some endangered species and it was an unforgettable experience. Overall , i highly recommend this theme park.

Went here two weeks ago. There were elaborate arrangements and precautions for COVID- mandatory temperature check at the entrance, ride equipments disinfected frequently, mandatory masks at some places, sufficient gaps between seats. As a result ,queues were much longer than usual and long waiting times. But worth waiting. This was our first visit. Liked all rides. My little one had her first roller coaster ride and she enjoyed it. Water slide was awesome. There is also a little zoo within the park. Overal, good for a weekend visit. You get park, zoo, rides all at one place.

Drayton Manor Zoo is part of a 250 acre theme park with over 100 rides and attractions. Rides range from the truly white-knuckle variety to the less spectacular that may be enjoyed by younger or less adventurous visitors. There are a wide variety of food and refreshments outlets spread around the Park, The zoo has over one hundred species and over 200 animals from all over the world. The Reptile House is home to one of the largest collections of snakes in Britain. Other sections include the Meerkat Manor, Parrot Walk, Tigers, Chimpanzees, Monkeys, Penguins, Sea Lions, a Small Mammal House, and Dinosaurland. There is also a separate Farm area, with a selection of rare breeds, and some larger reserves with other exotic animals.

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience, I thought it would be fun to take the family to celebrate Halloween there. The weather was dreadful and many rides were either out of service or closed. The food was nasty, very pricey with a diabolical seating system if you wanted to eat undercover. Not the excitement we set out to have. Unfortunately because of our experience today. I would not go back even if it was Free.

This is a great place for family fun - especially if you have Thomas the tank engine fans in the family! Something we have noticed over two trips - the staff will engage and talk to you, they are very friendly and diligent, really adding to the experience. Some good adrenalin rides for the adults, so something for all the family! We ate at the burger kitchen - not the cheapest but very good quality food - top marks!!

We stayed and played :) The hotel was immaculate, breakfast had a great range which catered for everyone. The park itself was busy but we went on the Accelerator first, which turned out shrewd as the queue was between 1-2 hours most of the day. Definitely download the app as it is great to navigate your way round the park and find out queue times. I would definitely book up again but prioritise the rides you would like to get on the most.

Far too hot at 30 degrees, but the joys of booking well in advance! Bit of a rip off if you buy drinks on site, prices on the high side! Kids loved it though, certainly recommended to all. Be much nicer if parking was free, just add a couple of pounds on to the ticket price, no one would notice!

Great place to let the kids enjoy themselves and let off steam. Thomas Land is very good for children, has a variety of different rides. Also has the balcony where Rusty, Dusty and the fat controller put on several shows throughout the day. You can also take the train and go to the zoo from Thomas Land. There is a nice soft play area for the children but it seemed to be dusty and dirty in various parts, not that the kids were bothered. The zoo has various animals including flamingoes, meerkats and red panda, also has the tamarind trail and dino trail. It has a play park (Spencer's park) for the children to enjoy, however this was closed when we went. This area also has the Thomas exhibition but there seemed to be only one train going around in the exhibition. Kids enjoyed the 4D cinema watching Thomas & Friends... Kids specifically enjoyed the water splashes and the bubbles inside the cinema. The theme park has various rides for the elder children and adults but we did not go on any of them due to having 3 kids with us. We did try to get onto the river rapids, but my daughter was 1cm below the required height level. It was an under statement to say she was disappointed, but the staff can't take any risks considering there has been a death on that particular ride in 2017. We went on a Sunday, the queues were not too bad, i would say the max we waited was 20 mins for the busier rides, but most rides were 10 mins or less. The food is expensive to buy inside the theme park, but does have various food outlets. My advice is to take a pack lunch with you. Pay for the car park as soon as you enter the theme park or pay for it while you are walking around to get on a ride. If you pay for it once the theme park closes, you could be waiting 30 mins or more as there are big queues as everyone seems to pay once the theme park closes. Car park cost is £6. Buy theme park tickets in advance online. The gate prices are extortionate. All in all a great day out and the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I would definitely go again with the kids.

Great day out. Spent the entire day in Thomas Land, go for 2 days, there's so much to do. Took our own pack lunch so don't know food costs. The photos on rides are £10 each or 4 for £20. Great rides for kids (my littlest ones are 2 and 3), the kids roller coaster is VERY FAST so suggest kids towards the older bracket my like it more than really little ones. Paid for the adult & infant (×2) discounted ticket £27.50 (i think) so thats a great price if your kids are under 4yrs. 5 star 🌟

Great for a day out with younger and older kids.. The staff were really helpful.. During the holidays the queues can be as long as upto an hour to get onto a ride, but still not as long as some of the other major theme parks.. The rides are great and lots of fun.

Not sure...about this place.170 for tickets. 2-3 hours waiting times for rides so we had to buy fast pass tickets at an additional 30 pounds each for 5 rides per ticket limited to one ticket per person and one fast pass per ride or we could purchase unlimited passes for £100 each. Yep lots of rules to make sure you have to buy them. All this ontop of the park tickets, otherwise it would be a complete waste of time as they close at 4:30. It's a nice park but one day would be nearly half the price of a week abroad.

We had a lovely day here. The staff at guest services were very helpful. Unfortunately, my Nimbus card hadn't arrived, but they were able to issue an access band as I had the email to say it had been accepted. There is still an element of waiting, and it is the disabled guest plus 3 others that's able to use. I experienced the medical room,as I was stung by a wasp. The first aider on duty was very helpful. The only issue I had was leaving the car park it took an hour. We were parked in the disabled bays at the back of the park, and we have never normally had an issue on previous visits, but maybe some staff helping to control the traffic. All In all, fantastic day out, Thomas land is fab for younger children we rode the Thomas the tank train to the zoo. There is a dinosaur trail and lots of animals to see. The water ride is a must ride just have a change of clothes as you literally get soaked to the bone it was 5pm ride close and 530 park close which in August is a bit early especially if you have a day ticket as you do find yourself rushing from one place to the other.

Love the zoo, went at a quiet time weekday and they had offer on ticket for a tenner. One coffee shop is open to purchase small items like drinks and cakes. They have wooden outdoor play area for little ones and plenty of animals to see. We walked around and took between two to three hours. Option to buy fish food at the small. Bridge. Parking was free as part of our zoo only ticket.

Drayton Manor continues to surprise with its selection of animals at its own zoo! It houses very interesting animals like the Red Kangaroo and an enclosure of tigers. The size of its reptile family is also impressive, showing multiple animals such as snakes and crocodiles.

Great place, fun for all the family, little ones love Thomas land. Would recommend. They also offer a wide range of thrill rides such as, shockwave and apocalypse. They also have the best dark rides in the UK. Sheriffs showdown and the haunting.

  • 5/5 Simon B. 3 years ago on Google
A very good visit. Welcoming and friendly staff. Hours of endless fun for the whole family. All rides were operational on our visit and no disappointed children at any time. There were multiple and regular cleans of numerous different rides whilst also having temperature taken at main gates. It was busy, yes, but given the checks put in place by the resort, we never felt unsafe at any times. Drayton Manor as a whole had the whole situation perfected, wonderfully managed and adequately staffed. A special mention to the wonderful lady at guest services (whose name has escaped me, sorry!) who ensured that everything went smoothly for us who went above and beyond. We'll be back! 🙂

I think the Drayton Manor theme park is an overpriced funfair for most of the rides. There are few really fun rides of course. It needs to be enjoyed at good weather or wear all in ones and wellies😃. We went during covid and food options were limited. Sanitisers were available everywhere, social distancing in place for the rides. We felt safe.

  • 3/5 Amanda C. 3 years ago on Google

Honestly Thomas Land was quite good and the zoo was enjoyed by our kids too. However, the food options here, compared to equivalents like Alton Towers, really are appauling. Even with reduced (covid) capacity we had to wait over 1 1/2 hours just to be served burgers and chips. And even then there were no seats - to be fair to Drayton Manor this was as much due to selfish guests "saving seats" while others in their party queued for food. However, I can't explain the frustration when you have 2 hungry toddlers and are carrying food that is going cold, to see 12 out of 13 tables occupied by people not eating. Boggles the mind that the cleaning staff couldn't have controlled this better.

  • 4/5 ouzo c. 3 years ago on Google
Very busy on the last day of the season. Closing off seats on rides for social distancing means long, slow-moving queues for the rides. Didn't seem like they'd limited numbers much as it was heaving. Food courts where all full as the rain was torrential, leading to having to wait for somewhere to sit down and eat. Our two year old and her 4 year old cousin both had loads of fun in Thomas land but could get frustrated with wait times. Rides also closed intermittently for cleaning, so you could have waited for 30mins with your child to be told the ride is closing for cleaning. Could do with a visible cleaning schedule for customers and queue wait times similar to Alton Towers. The Halloween theming was decent enough with haystacks topped with pumpkins and scarecrows dotted about. All in all it was worthwhile, but can't give 5 stars due to how busy it was, lack of social distancing enforcement in queues and rides closing here and there with no warning. Also it'll be better when the firework display can come back.

  • 4/5 Pip B. 3 years ago on Google
Got to go on most of the rides we wanted, social distance markers clearly visible but it must have been the day for visually impaired 😠😠 disappointed shockwave was closed

  • 5/5 Christopher P. 3 years ago on Google
Excellent Theme Park, Good Social distancing measures and procedures in place, nice to see a park with ride operatives of all ages, most other parks now have only young inexperienced staff, but Drayton have some more mature older people who are great with the kids too which is nice to see. Only thing I was abit shocked at was a bottle of Pepsi at £2.50 and a hotdog at £3.69. but it's what you expect to be honest.. Recommend day out for the family.

It's a middle of the range theme park with mainly young kids rides and a few for adults and teen. A lot of the more thrilling rides are quite old and have been no major new additions in best part of 15 years. A lot of bigger rides not operating for maintenance despite it being half Term and the park closing in just a few weeks for the season. Has a lot of potential but will always sit in the shadow of Alton Towers

What A Lovely Family Theme Park Highly recommended for families with young kids / young teens. Plenty of stuff for the little ones to do, and most of the time the whole family can join in. In terms of thrill rides, there are a couple of flat rides, a few rollercoasters and 2 water rides, with the later being in a newly updated themed seaside area, looks very cool and colourful. Plenty of food venues all reasonably priced. And although we never saw them Thomas Land and a Zoo… the zoo we will check out on the next visit! Booking tickets online is almost always cheaper, however if you live local you can get a season pass £99 which is literally steal!

Have it all for the family fun..Thomasland for the little ones, Family rides for the whole family and Thrilling rides for those trying some adventure. Very well maintained, helpful staff but tickets are just a bit on the expensive side along with the new 6 pounds parking. Will recommend for a family day out in good weather

What a fantastic park Thomas land is, everything you could imagine for all ages, the trains are fantastic and the staff very good at keeping the kids entertained. You would definitely need a couple of days to get through all the park. For kids who love Thomas it's a must !

There are so many memorable rides at Thomas Land which are designed for 2 to 3 years upward. We have so much fun and laughter and we are planning to go back. The catering or food stall are good, plenty of choices to select. Staff are very friendly and polite, plus the Zoo and Dinosaurs Land.

Brilliant day out for toddlers. However, I took my 19 month old daughter too. 3 of the rides which she could of gone on was closed due to maintenance..& she was too little to go on anything else. Bit disappointed really as I also paid £25 for her that day too.. Personally, babies under 2 should go free.

Great theme park as always! Quiet for a bank holiday weekend we thought. Didn’t have to wait long to get on the rides which is always a bonus. However a good handful of rides weren’t available which was a little bit disappointing.

  • 1/5 Sufian M. 1 year ago on Google
Large queues for every single ride very cramped, took over a hour to park up and get in car park, very over crowded, all the ride operators take forever to put people on and off rides, I came a few years ago loved it now it’s gone badly down hill. Even the zoo half the animals are missing, food prices are a joke charging 3.10 for a 500ml drink and charging £4 for a tiny cup of tango blast

  • 5/5 Gal 1 year ago on Google
Loved visiting this place! This was my first time being able to get here and it looks as though its had a remodel within the last year or so as everything looked fresh and clean and there are also new parts of the park being worked on currently. The park is so big that I will have to come back again and possibly stay in the modern looking hotel as one day was not enough to get around it all. I'm not sure if there is an app for it but no need to check for ride times as queue times were very short and was able to get on rides in no time at all! The only downfalls are that there could be a bigger range of healthier food as I didn't see anything healthy at all, there was mainly cakes, icecream, pizza, etc... and also overheard a staff member say to a customer that they didn't think they were getting their lunch break that day. Staff need breaks!

We had a fantastic time at Drayton Manor! We were there for 2 days with a stay at the hotel. There were 10 of us visiting for a family celebration and it was perfect. An amazing choice of rides, we particularly loved the Vikings area and the Thor ride, also high up for me was Accelerator! We were there with my 1 year old and he also loved it...the highlight being the carousel! Thomas Land was great with a lovely choice of rides for his age. We caught a little show with Rory the Lion which was great fun too. Nicely laid out, not many maps available around but easy enough to navigate. Lovely park and zoo to walk around including the dinosaur trail! Food is standard theme park variety...expensive but necessary! We visited over a Sunday and Monday and had hardly any queues so can't complain at all.

I'm very disappointed, to be honest. Paid £106 for 3 individuals, including parking, and the experience was quite a letdown. Parking is spacious but gets filled up really quickly. On our day, only 4 rides from the main theme park were working. The rest had a signpost saying, " we are working towards improving your experience." There was nothing mentioned about this on the website. The rides that were functional had crazy queues ahead of them. On the contrary, we did have quite a fun in Thomas Land. All the rides were functional and the queues short. Staff were generally courteous and welcoming. Highlight of the day for me was the zoo, including the birds and creepy Crawley section. They have talking parrots 🦜 too that keep the kids entertained. Wash rooms were nice and adequate in number. There is a 4D cinema but no shows on the time we visited. Nice little outdoor play area for kids. If you happen to visit this place, I would recommend trying the pizza from the pizza 🍕 and pasta shop. Good place overall. I would have given it a 5/5 if the rides were operational.

kinda decent, as the rides good I remember them being years ago The zoo inside isn't anything Amazing probably would advise if you bring children to not let them scream at the animals

  • 4/5 Andrew M. 10 months ago on Google
Great park for the rides.. extortionate prices for food & drink. We spent most of our time in Thomas Land with our two year old. There's a huge range of rides for little ones under 0.9m compared to other theme parks close by. The park seems well maintained and clean, with every ride operating throughout the day with no issues. We decided to visit last minute so didn't have chance to make any lunch meaning we had to eat at one of the park restaurants. It cost us upwards of £60 for two adults to eat fast food quality meals so be warned its expensive if you're planning to eat on site. Overall plenty to do it you're visiting with young kids. The staff are friendly and engage with the children which makes it that bit more entertaining. £6 parking charge per vehicle so be aware of that. They recommend paying for your parking before end of day as the queue for the ticket machine can get busy around closing time.

  • 4/5 Danielle M. 11 months ago on Google
We attended with 2 young children who loved Thomas Land. The park was quiet, so the queues were short, and we managed to go on all rides. One ride wasn't working correctly however, within the hour maintenance repaired the problem, and we went on again. The children enjoyed the 4d cinema showing Thomas. The zoo is not very big/exciting we caught the land train from zoo area to thomas land. There are great play areas for the children.

  • 4/5 Gemma H. 8 months ago on Google
Fan day out with my family, we had loads of fun in Thomas Land on all of the rides. A walk around the zoo which is quite basic but a nice calm walk following the excitement of the day. New viking area is great but they have increased the height limit on the buffalo and now one of my kids couldn't ride, but he made up for it with loads of goes on the horses! Overall it is a very expensive day out and one we will only go for as a family once a year.

  • 5/5 Nithya M. 8 months ago on Google
I would recommend this place for a good family day out. If you have toddlers or young children, there are plenty of rides in Thomas Land which are suitable for their age. I haven't seen a theme park with lots of fun rides for toddlers. For adults, there are 6 thrill rides of which we liked Thor, Stormforce 10 (be prepared to be fully wet but it's fun) and the family ride Accelerator. The queue for the accelerator was around 40 min around 11:30 being a busy Saturday, but we didn't experience big queues in any other rides for the rest of the day. My daughter loved Troublesome Truck Runaway Coaster and Jormungandr. For me, the scariest rides were Maelstrom (some threw up,so go on an empty stomach )and Air Race. It's better to try Thomas land rides first and then move on to big rides because some small rides close by 4pm. We had chosen the extended Summer night ticket which allowed us to use the big rides until 9pm. There was a band too as part of the special day. We didn't eat from there,so can't comment on the quality of food. What we felt was if you are going on the big rides, you won't feel hungry. The toilets were clean. However, there were no locker facilities available as mentioned in the website. For the big rides, you can keep your backpack on the exit side before you get in. However, you need to carry it with you for all other rides. If you scan the QR code and pay 20pounds, you get a digital copy of all your photos from the specific rides. You just need to remember the photo number after each ride. We didn't know that so we ended up buying photos from each ride by paying 17 pounds. There is a large car park and you need to pay 6 pounds for the whole day parking.

It's a small resort with lots of character but an enjoyable day out nonetheless. We found that a couple of rides had a cue but the majority we could get on quit quickly. I loved the duplicity of the resort, as it meant that we could take a relaxing strole through the zoo area too which everyone enjoyed.

Went for Christmas wonderland. Half the park is not open during this time. Just be aware. It’s not well advertised. All of Thomas land was open and had a Christmassy feel. Youngest enjoyed it as short queues on the slower rides. Eldest was a bit fed up as only accelerator and the pirate ship operational.
