I enjoyed my tour of this museum. The Guide was most informative and was happy to answer any questions. The building is over 500 years old and was moved from its original site in 1909 by George Cadbury. Miinworth Greaves is the other building on the site and was also relocated by Cadbury and is thought to be the oldest surviving building in Birmingham. Certainly worth a visit.

Really enjoyed our trip today & all the information Meghan gave us. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the Manor & was really polite. Beautifully manicured gardens, we had a lovely day.

Visited here last Friday straight after Cadbury World. Went and bought tickets inside (staff were sat relaxing not at the ticket desk) and told us to walk on in ourselves after purchasing. The Tudor houses had hardly anything inside with no history information or staff. Left within 5 minutes. Felt it was a waste of money, best off just taking a photo from outside for free.

Lovely place to look around ! Staff are very friendly and happy to give you information on the manor. Steeped in history and very good to experience! Highly recommend a visit but just check there are no school trips there before you go as it can be too cramped and loud if a class of kids are too bf around the manor !

Went here on a school trip when I was 7 and we had an activity where we got to dress up, my white classmates all had fancy dresses and they literally gave me a servants outfit (i was the only black girl in the class) My mom was mad as hell and I just remembered so thought I'd share

Fantastic place. My son 10 y.i was impressed. You can have some activities with children trying to find hidden objects. Museum is amazingly maintained by stuff and volunteers. I would visit it again since we haven't explored everything thoroughly

Lovely little place to spend a lovely warm afternoon. Friendly staff really make you feel welcome. Lots of history and can dress up in different costumes for some fun. Then can play golf in the gardens.

Very interesting went as a volunteer on a school trip fantastic experience although very cold. Our guide Mary was a lovely lady and made the day fun and had a wonderful way of delivering the story of the great fire of London to the children.

If you get chance take a look at this piece of English heritage. While we were there we saw a number of people approach but then turn and leave .It is a great place were children can dress in costumes and learn about the History of the area

An old cottage relocated from a few miles away. The highlight, even for adults, was being able to try on old clothes and armour. Very friendly and informative staff.

Lovely place to visit - the house is interesting and there were old games for the kids to play. Fun treasure hunt (not sure who enjoyed it more) and a nice chocolate for solving it (just ask at reception when you've solved it). Gardens are really well looked after - really liked the Henry VIII hedge!

I was very lucky to visit with a Groupon half price voucher, which made the attraction extremely cheap. You can get a discount if you show Cadburyworld tickets. My great aunt lived in a cottage that was over 400 years old, and Selly Manor brought back many happy memories. There are two buildings to look at with different rooms all set up.There are costumes, armour to try on, old fashioned toys on the lawn. It was nice to go room to room exploring the different displays and the garden. They have a little gift shop and toilets, unfortunately no cafe which would of been great, but your only a couple of minutes away from the high street with plenty of facilities.

Went for a farm day for children, lovely venue full of history with lots of fun activities. Only a small place however so it will take up about an hour at best if not taking place in any activities. Next to Bournville Green which has a great cafe and shops.

Interesting and attractive Tudor museum. Not very big with small grounds, spent less than 2 hours here. We went on their 'Wonderland' Day (an Alice in Wonderland inspired day)- was decorated lovely. Would have been a nice touch if the staff were dressed as the characters from Alice in Wonderland (could have had a person as the Mad Hatter at the table acting/informing visitors of facts about the museum, could have had The Queen of Hearts wondering around the grounds encouraging children to play the garden games such as croquet, and of course Alice). ♣️🐰⏱️🏷🫖🎩🐛🌹♥️ Enjoyed looking around the museum, the trail was good! Dressing up was fun, crafts were decent too. Took some lovely photos and my children enjoyed their time here. Worth visiting!

Super experience! And the interactive nature of being able to try on armour and clothes from the period make it a worthwhile excursion.

We attended the Murder at the Manor event and were very pleasantly surprised. The local youth group that put on the event did such a good job and it was really good! It’s a nice way to look around the manor also!

My 6yr old granddaughter and I went for knights and princesses week during half term. She had great time making crown, fire breathing dragon and family crest. Also great quiz round main house and fasinating talk about knights. Lovely at any time for children and adults.

(Translated by Google) We can't get in, it's closed for parties. But just looking outside was exciting. (Original) Não conseguimos entrar, está fechado para as festas. Mas só de olhar do lado de fora já foi emocionante.

Have lived near this little gem for a number of years and never visited. So decided to put that right today. It is well presented with lots of objects to handle as well as clear warnings on objects that need protecting. Many schoolchildren in today but all well behaved and engaged with staff and we still had plenty of chances to see rooms quietly. It is small so doesn't need a lot of time to do it justice. Now know where the phrase 'saving face' comes from.
