Really glad to have found out about this location, it's fantastic. The area is huge and I can't emphasise that enough, it's vast. The car park is quite spacious, though when we got there the pay and display machine wasn't working. We spoke to the warden (who has an office behind the cafe) and he told us the problem was that it was a new machine and it was getting damp inside and rebooting itself. So there is someone to ask instead of worrying about getting a parking ticket. The hills themselves are rather steep and uneven and might not be ideal for everyone. We had a pushchair and while not impossible it was difficult in places. It is a really good place to take a dog for a walk, as there are large open fields at the top. When you get to the top though, the views are stunning, such a lovely place that's so close to the city. Theres are large play area for kids at the entrance that's pretty good, felt nice and safe and well thought out. There are also toilets beside a small shop that are really handy as well.

Great trails through the hills looks on neverending walk, as a part of bigger adventure. You can do hiking and good walking on the hills or below valleys as a rabbit. Few hours are enough to taste beautiful nature in this Country Park. Great time an place to celebrate Platinum Jubilee.

You do have to pay to park here though if anyone visits that hasn't been before. Stunning place with great views on a clear day. So imagine blue skies from the photos I've shared

Great country park! The walks are scenic and you can choose between a short half mile route, a longer three mile route, and then some extra routes via public footpaths that go a bit further. Our dogs love it there. It can get a bit muddy in spots, so wear appropriate footwear.

A good place to get some fresh air. Good, hill walk with spectacular views, well kept facilities, with a cafe supplying take away hot drinks and snacks. Good playground for young children, plentiful supply of picnic tables. Not really for serious ramblers as walks are limited, but a nice way to spend a couple of hours.

Been coming to this park for many years and enjoyed walking here with the dogsarea. Its nice how the wind dies down and noise from the motorway stop as soon as you walk down the valley. Really good relaxing place to get away from the city life.

A lovely place to wander, there is a food shop on site in the car park, as are plenty of picnic seating, and a barbecue area that I assume can be used at a cost. Dog friendly, but I wish some owners would pick up after their dogs.

Great for walks with the dog ,an outing with the kids. Different signed routes to take, play area and a cafe . Parking is £3 all day. Plenty of picnic benches, even along the walks there are plenty of benches. Enjoyable day that's not to far away 😁

We love this place. Kids are happy, dog is happy and we are happy. Plus there is a playground, a place to get coffee and toilets. What's not to like.

  • 4/5 caroline b. 2 years ago on Google
Followed the longer of the 2 trails. Lovely little walk with clear waymarkers. Carpark quite small and café is just a fast food waggon which seems a shame as there are enough buildings there that they could have a lovely little cafe. Beware it can be very muddy when the weather has been wet.

  • 5/5 Nick F. 1 year ago on Google
A great place for a walk, lovely scenery and convenient car park. Lots of dogs so make sure your pooch is well behaved. Just the right amount of hills to make it fun! PS I think the south car park is free!?

  • 5/5 Glevum O. 2 years ago on Google
Great walking territory, with or without a dog . The park seems to go on and on with deep valleys and diverging paths to explore. The wind can whip across the top but, on a clear day, the views are worth it. Wellies are a necessity during and after wet weather. Even light rain for a day or so turns the lower slopes by the car park into a soggy mess. All day parking is £2.50 and, at last, there's a machine that accepts card payments. As at December, '21 I'm not sure what's happening with the café but the toilets have been open each time we've visited this month.

  • 4/5 Nick F. 3 years ago on Google
No card facility for parking and at present cafe won't give change.

A great place to walk your dog or just to have a lovely family outdoor stroll with exceptional views. There is pay and display parking upto £3 for the day, toilet facilities, cafeteria for drinks and food. Also water bowls for dogs. For younger children there is a playground area. Something for everyone.

Always a lovely place to visit, especially with little ones. New swings in the playground! The Windmill Cafe is lovely as well. Real fires on colder days and super helpful and friendly staff. The coffee is not great though. Really weak and milky. Have the tea. The tea is lovely.

Great place to visit for lovely walks and a break from city life. Kids loved exploring the 'Rabbit Trail' with its green appeal while picking blackberry. The cows (the only animals we encountered) are calm and peaceful.

  • 5/5 Dee Y. 3 years ago on Google
What a wonderful open space with sprawling countryside and epic views over the Worcestershire area. Great walking and for the dogs and if you like cows you can see them too! Wonderful cafe for good snacks and eats. Properly socially distanced and looked after. Clean toilets too.

Great place but be careful of those times on Google they aren’t correct, park is only open until 8 o’clock at the height of summer. Check the Facebook or official website for real closing times

  • 5/5 Helen P. 3 years ago on Google
Brilliant family place or for walking the dogs great views. If you need to blow the cob webs away. Cheap parking. Great cafe grab a well deserved brew can sit at the benches outside. A lovely park area for the kiddies. I do recommend the sausage rolls

  • 3/5 Andrew B. 3 years ago on Google
Only gave it 3 stars due to weather conditions and forgetting wellies, Seems a nice, popular place to visit especially for dogs owners. Cafe and kids play area was busy, as was the Park itself. Will be going again in the future when the weather is better..

  • 4/5 James T. 3 years ago on Google
Good coffee at the visitor centre, bracing walks with a great view from the top of the hill. (Lots of mud in winter months, so take wellies). Children’s play area (woodland style).

  • 5/5 Vicki H. 3 years ago on Google
Really lovely walk today with a good coffee and scone to finish the morning off. Great place to meet at the moment for a social distance walk with great facilities.

  • 5/5 Andy M. 3 years ago on Google
Review dated December 2020. The cafe was open for takeaway orders. Place your order at the front on the main building and collect at the back. There was a bit of a queue for food but it kept moving. Tables outside were busy. Plenty of mud, bring suitable footwear.
