Spent a morning on a Flying/Handling experience, a birthday gift from my daughter. Had a wonderful time, met a variety of birds, all of whom performed beautifully for my small group. We even handled a young Lanner Falcon, still on his training line and only on his second experience. Our Falconer was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour and she kept the experience interesting and fun. I recommend this little centre.

An unforgettable experience that I have been recommending to EVERYONE since visiting! Our guide, Gem, was fantastic, friendly, informative and knowledgeable. She made our day out that bit more memorable. There is an extensive selection of birds who are all incredibly friendly and loveable. Invaluable experience with birds of prey, and a flying show in the afternoon included too!

Fantastic Falconery centre. £6 entry for adults. Be aware during really wet weather and strong winds they may not bring the birds out for display because of it been hazardous. But luckily today they was still able to bring some out. Numerous eagles, owls, falcons, buzzards and vultures are on display. Nice big cages as well. I've been to some falconry centres and the cages are quite small. Certainly love to come back again and have a more personalised experience with the bigger birds. Excellent value for money. For people that don't know, you have to go through the garden centre and towards the back outside you have the entry to the falconery.

Did a half day falconry course here and had a fantastic time. Informative and entertaining host (be prepared for a dry sense of humour!). Hands on with lots of interesting birds. Also be warned that the displays do involve feeding small animals and animal remains to the birds, as is their natural diet.

This is only a small center but brilliant. There are at the back of a garden center so you can use there cafe /toilets and do a bit of shopping all on the same visit. The Falconers are really brilliant and the information they give you about the beautiful birds is really good.Make sure you check what time the flying displays are as you don't want to miss them. You can walk around a small area were there are birds in cages on display. They really do have some magnificent birds well worth a visit.

Well worth the visit, so many birds of prey, my god sons learnt about conservation of the birds of prey and the importance of the breeding programme. Look forward to visiting again

Great place to visit for an afternoon. Friendly staff, regular shows, and a good selection of birds. At first it seems like there isn't much (for the price there's still plenty!), but then you turn a corner and there's much more to see. Some absolute characters, some of the birds, and make sure you go say 'Alright' to Spike, the raven.

I went with my sons, a niece and a nephew. Very interesting birds some of which are rare in these parts such as the Peregrine Falcon and the American Bald Eagle. Good bird show and informative staff for the most part. Although... souvenirs are extremely pricey and one of the bird necklaces I purchased for my nephew fell apart by the time we reached home. I complained but to no avail. They asked me to drive back from Birmingham to Worcester to get it repaired rather than issue a refund or ideally post a replacement out to the kid. My nephew was upset about it and we'll probably have to get it repaired by a local jeweller - shouldn't really be required after we spent around £60 here altogether. If I ran the place, I would post out a replacement so the child wasn't upset. But not everybody thinks like me, I guess.

They have wonderful shows where they tell more about the birds that they are displaying. There is also the possibility to handle certain birds, which is definitely worth it. The staff is friendly and know their stuff. It is clear that they love their birds and the other way around.

Simply outstanding. Staff both welcoming and knowledgeable. It was great learning more about these fantastic (and sadly sometimes endangered) creatures. Booked a 30 minute private family experience. Well worth the trip down and the money. Kudos to all the employees and volunteers who help to protect these beautiful animals

An amazing day out for all the family! Great prices and staff are very friendly and accommodating. We opted for the family/small group experience and we were not disappointed! From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed. We had the to look around before our experience. Then after we had our hands on experience we watched a show on the ørn field. The show was amazing! The staff were funny, informative and professional the birds were stunning, graceful and sometimes hilariously stubborn. Highly recommend this place. The gift shop is definitely worth a visit too with the art work done by one of the very talented staff.

Really great place the staff put on a real show with the birds and some of the birds get up close with the visitors. The presenters really give an interesting and informative run down on each bird as the fly around.

Great visit, got a lot more out of the flying display than expected. Saw many birds with great commentary from the handlers, who were very friendly and informative. The centre was somewhat smaller than I thought and it's not immediately obvious where it is (we accessed it via Webbs store) but it was great anyway, the birds are so beautiful. I definitely want to return in the warmer months.

  • 5/5 Matt B. 2 years ago on Google
Mrs and I took part in their half day bird handling experience. It was brilliant! 7 birds altogether, we got to fly them with the help of the falconer of course. It felt very comprehensive, the falconer is very knowledgable and passionate about her work which shines through in the way she related to the birds. It was great, and definitely an experience I'd love to repeat.

Excellent experience! The store itself is like wonderland, full of everything you could ever ask for and very fairly priced. We also did the Falconry centre, and that was great! The 2 people hosting the show were very knowledgeable and had the birds performing wonderfully! Thank you! My two kids aged 5 and 7 loved it just as much!

Daughter booked for my birthday. I'm 55 and a bit of a bird nut. 30 minutes felt like an hour and got to see, hear and 'hold' 3 magnificent creatures. Excuse the pun, we had a hoot. Knowledgeable staff willing to share insightful details of the birds we met. Totally recommended and would return in a heart beat

Absolutely brilliant. We visited for a half day experience and it was excellent. Fiona was so good and made the experience fun and interesting. The birds are fantastic and you can see how well looked after they are. I'd definitely go again with my children.

Highly recommend this place. My son had a half an hour bird handling experience booked for his birthday present, and he really enjoyed learning all about the birds of prey. He was amazed that he got to handle so many, and was over the moon that his experience got upgraded to the full hour as he got to handle bigger birds. This was down to the handlers discretion, so I just paid the extra there at the end. Best birthday present ever (his words ☺️)🦅🦉

I have wanted to go here for absolute ages, and it did not disappoint! I was more excited than my 6 year old and my partner 🤣 It was amazing, the birds were stunning, and the staff were awesome. Honestly, the pictures don't do it justice! The flying displays are incredible as well. Next time, I want to be a handler for the day. The Falconary Centre is located inside of Webbs Garden Centre.

Excellent Falconry centre with a wide range of birds to see and lots of really interesting information about each species and birds of prey in general. The hands on flying experience was far better than I expected, small group, friendly and knowledgable staff, and lots of bird handling. Superb experience.
