The carpets and curtains in prayer rooms are not clean. The children run around shouting, making noise in ladies. From outside to the main entrance and interior of the Mosque needs good sweeping, cleaning regularly.

Very well organised mosque. Their website is kept well up to date which is awesome. When you are there you can see that the management and volunteers are quite active. There is limited parking space too. Women prayer area is also spacious, clean and well managed.

Excellent masjid for location, parking (though it can get manic at times), wudhu areas and toilets for brothers and sisters and plenty of space to pray. They now have volunteer parking attendants to stop the donkeys who used to block people in, which is great. The masjid is undergoing major extension work right now; sandstone columns and Arabic arches plus smaller gold domes, looks amazing masha Allah.

I recently visited Birmingham Central Mosque and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and I was able to participate in a guided tour of the mosque which was both informative and interesting. The mosque itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful architecture and intricate details throughout. It's clear that a lot of care and attention has been put into the design and upkeep of the building. During my visit, I also had the opportunity to attend a prayer service and was struck by the sense of community and inclusivity that was present. It was clear that the mosque is a central hub for the local Muslim community, and I felt privileged to be able to witness this firsthand. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to Birmingham Central Mosque to anyone interested in learning more about Islam or simply wanting to appreciate the beauty of this important cultural landmark. The staff are fantastic, the building is breathtaking, and the sense of community is truly inspiring.

Not a good mosque for travelors at the moment. Wudu and washrooms is in a small place and so wet feels walking in a river. I think the reason is that its under construction.

Been going to this mosque since 2005. Everything is fine except the committee. Unlike majority of the mosques in the UK, this mosque is run by the committee rather than the community. To begin with, they're following tradition rather than following the Sunnah, imams are somewhat 'forced' to act upon the 'committees beliefs' despite at least 50% of the local community not having the same beliefs in incorporating tradition. Countless of times, the local community had to go elsewhere for Eid and Taraweeh as the final decision comes down to what the committee wants to do. The construction going on, the mosque had the money several years ago, which the caretakers and local staff themselves will agree upon, but they're still asking for donations. Couple of meetings which involve committee members is where you'll see your money go (i.e. members coming in luxury cars like they had a massive payout). Excluding the committee issues, the remaining issues are linked with construction which you have to give the benefit of the doubt since this will only be a temporary issue until construction is complete.

I would avoid using toilets and ablution services unless necessary. It is a hazard and unhygienic. Be warned. I can appreciate the mosque is underway major refurbishment and these are temporary wudu facilities. But people using them should RESPECT it and use with caution and consideration should be made that other people may want to use the facility. Walking into a cubicle to find urine stains on the cistern (tank) was gross.

During my business trip to Birmingham from November 28th to December 2nd, I sought out a mosque to observe my Friday prayer on December 1st. I walked from the Grand Central station and managed to arrive just in time for the prayer. While staying on for the Asar prayer, I unfortunately misplaced my watch at the ablution area. After the Asar prayer, I diligently searched for my watch, and it seemed like all hope was lost until I decided to approach the imam. To my relief, from a distance, they waved at me and pointed out my watch. While the watch itself may not be expensive, the invaluable experience of the community is truly priceless. The following day, I flew back to Malaysia with a heart full of gratitude. May Allah continue to protect the Masjid and its community with His endless blessings. Thank you

Spacious mosque with facilities for men and women, parking also available. They only this I would say is, we read our Salah upstairs and there was no way of knowing the direction of prayer. A sticker on the ceiling would be great.

Our family used the funeral service for our dear mother who passed away. Inna Lillahi Wa Inna ilahi Rajiun. The process was smooth the people in the administration involved including caterers took a great load off our shoulders wonderful service. I wanted to express my deepest gratitude to the lady who helped us with the rital Ghusal washing of my mother during this emotional sensitive time she was fantastic May Allah bless her hands.

This Masjid looks so fancy but I went to use female toilets. It was the worst experience ever. If you’re doing so much renovation at least make it convenient for everyone by fixing female toilets. The sensors lights go off after two seconds of sitting on the toilet. The sinks are so low and water slashes everwhere and it’s so dark and gloomy. Make the toilets look a better. I felt like I was in back home toilets.

This is a very nice mosque with parking they are currently doing an extension so there will be more room. They also do iftar at the mosque during the Ramadan month which has a nice atmosphere it's very nice to eat with a group rather than alone at home.

Mashallah great masjid and vast space for worshippers. May Allah reward everyone who is involved in the good caretaking of the mosque.

The mosque building structure is reasonable but needs improved natural lighting (there is building work in progress showing promise). Car parking and management very poor with little thought to immediate roads and traffic conditions and impact on neighbouring community. Attention needs to be given to creating and disseminating social values that assist the people and the environs.

❌️Needs better signage to clearly show where the women's entrance is. Couldn't figure it out and had to guess. ❌️Carpark requires work. ❌️Renovations are in place, but progress seems super slow. ❌️Women's section is disproportionately tiny. It was hardly encouraging, and this was my first visit here. ❌️Don't force people to be out of pocket in making donations. Despite already donating, I felt obliged to give more money (again). People give what they can. That's enough - you don't know what people can afford or how they feel being forced in front of a congregation. ❌️Better support for reverts - I could see people were confused and nobody helps, plenty of shouting for anybody praying incorrectly though - quiet word of support or advice is better. ✅️Clean prayer facilities ✅️Adequate shoe storage provided

Obviously mosque so it's what it is you for Namaz. I'm posting 3 stars so someone from there can take action on a point. There signs to guide people to the wudu area whilst building work is ongoing need to be better. I saw multiple people confused on how to get to the wudu area. JazakAllah.

Although every Masjid is Allah's house so no comparison. But I just want to say that it has a lot of space for the worshippers including parking space.

First time I have been in a while since the COVID restrictions where lifted and it's almost back to normal minus the construction and the ladies area is a little inaccessible for my daughter since the construction and she needs wheelchair access, but it was nice having a bit of normality again.

Very large and beautiful mosque. There is a long term project of expansion going on so you'll notice a few parts are covered in scaffolding. There is no clear signage for female and male entrances. They are separate. The staff are a little intrusive but helpful.
