Nice park and there is free car park and good play park. Swans and ducks in the pond in the park which are really nice. Unfortunately, there are a lot of rubbish in the pond and along the bank- combination of people throwing rubbish and birds & wind blown them out. We did a quick rubbish picking around the pond by using the sticks.

Great playground to take the kids to. In need of a little tlc, but otherwise great. Plenty of space to ride your bike with the kids too. I will be back.

Nice walk along the stream. But where are all the fishes? Not a stickleback to be seen when there were lots in years gone by. Pity that the old buildings near the play area cannot be knocked down & replaced with leisure facilities.

Free parking inside the park and could park on the main road. Large grounds for an open air walk. Not a lot of benches around for sitting. But good for having a picnic and sports games. There is a hidden park at the back, but very busy on a Saturday.

Nice park with good connections, it's easy to park and connects to the canal. Disabled parking is decent and the park is wheelchair accessible with a few different areas (woods, open space, lake etc). Usually clean with not much litter - bins emptied regularly. The lake isn't massively impressive but it's nice to see the swans, geese and ducks. There's a playground for children which is quite popular. The flower garden is also nice.

Beautiful place. Quiet. Real nature. Very good for family. You can run, walk, enjoy your bicycle. Visit and enjoy in a civilised way! 🙂 Repeat: wonderful. But no any maps

If you are after a simple park, this will be a nice place where you can have a good walk around, jogging, walk with you dogs, cycling around the area, playing tennis and for kids there is a special place where they can play. This park has a special area where you will find a diversity of flowers and it's quite a relaxing place for who's in love of macro photography and just reading on a bench surrounded by nice flowers and their perfumes. You have a small lake where you can enjoy from time to time some ducks and swans 🥹

This is a great park! Wonderful trails for exercise. Rough for riding but great running or walking trail along the canal. It has a playground for small kids, free parking, tennis courts, wide open spaces that are great for picnics and games, pond with ducks and geese, wooded areas for exploring and a beautiful garden. We spotted a baby deer on our visit near the car park which was exciting.

Park was great, the only problem was the pond. There were 2 dead swans and a dead fish around the edge. Phoned the number available and they said they already knew. Not good when your walking around with children.

Great for dog walking. River & a lake. Plenty of wildlife including parakeets. There is a children's playground which can get quite busy. Tennis courts. Also gardens to walk around. Car park available.

This can be a nice park to walk around. There are lots of different levels and green areas to see. There's a lovely brook along the bottom of the park . Tennis courts, and play area and a nice duck pond.(but do be careful of the rats ,) But due to some irresponsible selfish dog owners there is an awful lot of dog poo which has increased in the last few weeks since lock down, some dog owner do pick it up only to throw the bag when no one is looking. Worth a visit but you will need to watch where you and your children step.

Great place for kids to play, a large amount of field so ideal for a bit of a kick about, tennis courts and a big lake to walk around.

Lines appeared 27th February 2023. Trip hazard. Playground. No toilets. Old house 1600s. Dorothy Bagot's aunt was sister of James I's favourite George Villiers. Hervey was a pensioner of Charles II and guarded him. Their daughter Mary and son Richard also worked at court. Picture of Chloe from Fairfax by the pond.

Leafy pleasant walks on well maintained pathways ( which are used by cyclists so be aware). Well equipped children's playground. Beware of potholes on roadway and car park.
