Been to here from Edinburgh. Felt so fresh and pleasant. Totally worth place to visit if you’re in uk. It looks like little tirupati in uk. temple got large landscape with Free parking. We visited on weekend, so we can see large crowd from different areas, I felt like I was in india. Lord Ganesha, baba, ayappa, muruga, shiva, navagraha Have separate buildings for them. Lord balaji, hanuman are in main building. Their is reception under main building where we can buy tickets for any special pooja or Archana. We can get laddu for £1.50 here which is really so tasty. Temple committee provides free food to all devotees. They is seperate stall snd shop where we can get South Indian tiffins and groceries. A big thanks to the temple community for organising

Must visit if you are from the South India. Left like teleported back home. Huge campus, plenty space for car park, Temple includes Lord Ganesha, Shiva, Murugan, Venkateshwara (Balaji), Human, goddess Parvathi, Saibabha, Navagraha and more... Was happy to see a big Indian crowd. There is free food (prasada) offered by temple to all devotees.

Hindu temple where the presiding deity is lord Venkateshwara. Other temples in the premises belongs to lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha, Lord Murugan and that of Shirdi Sai Baba. The day we visited was less crowded even though it was on a weekend. There was no wait time and we had a peaceful darshana. They serve food / prasadam to all devotees on first come first serve basis starting from 12:30 pm onwards. it feels like there is an endless queue for puja of new vehicles. The temple stands on a huge property and parking is not a problem here. Adjacent to rhe temple there is a South Indian restaurant that serves really nice food.

The BalaJi Temple in Birmingham has got all same as the one in Tirupati. Feels so good on visiting here and taking the blessings. Have spread in large area and pretty managed well. Has good number of car parking, kids play area, Prasad distribution area. Very well connected by city bus from Birmingham Moor street train station and other parts of city as well.

Omg haven't felt so good & positive since long. Such a Beautiful Architecture, Serene Landscape, Well Maintained. Helped me to reconnect with our roots. We visited Shree Balaji Temple followed by Gurudwara sahib and had Langar Prasad in Smethwick which is on same route from Birmingham to Dudley. This place is easily accessible via Public Transport.

Parking - there is a massive open parking available and is free. Prasadam - the prasadam is very nice and is free to all devotees in Dining Hall/ conservatory. There are many deities of other Gods in the temple Please carry some cash for hundi / donation. The cost of laddu is 2£ and bag is 50p, card and cash both are accepted, but they sell out fast They also do Mundan Shoe rack - there are shoes racks and coat stand available on ground floor Toilet and reception are located on the ground floor.

Rude Priests at Main Balaji & Amman place. Please treat all the devotees equally at god's place. Priests are responsive only to money not to the devotees.

This is a very large and beautiful Balaji temple in Birmingham. The temple has a huge land area and has free parking available inside. Very beautiful idols of Balaji and Lakshmi. Also separate temple of Ganesha. Options to do a variety of poojas and donations. There are washrooms within the temple. At the backside of the temple there is an Annadaanam area where you get delicious prasad. There is also a small south indian food stall within the temple campus itself.

Excellent Hindu place of worship. The main Balaji Temple has been added to over the years with mini temples for other deities and Shirdi Sai Baba. The site is very welcoming, with ample free parking and amenities. There is also a venue for rent for parties. Restrictions are currently in place during the coronavirus pandemic but measures are in place to keep distance and additional awnings have been erected at entrances to provide additional protection from the rain. There are a number of services offered by the priests, as well as daily services. It is very family friendly and there is even a play area for children.

I visited Balaji temple with my family. We all were mesmerized by the beautiful architecture. One can feel the positive vibe immediately after entering into the temple. Enough parking space and kids playing area are available. Free food (as a prasad) is also available but I would recommend those can afford they should donate as well in order to support free food concept. There is a small restaurant is also available which offers vegetarian food. And a small grocery shop where you can find Indian stuff.

Feels like you are in India. Very spiritual place. Absolutely love the atmosphere. Pictures are prohibited to be taken inside the temple. They sell laddu for £2 each, its very delicious. Visit here to have a divine experience.

Very nice temple - beautiful architecture, stunning scenery and peaceful environment. The temple is located on a vast area of land with plenty of parking. Parking is free. They have many different pooja’s. Check online for prices. Customer service - the lady at the counter in the reception below the temple was very rude (typical Asian rudeness). My mother asked questions, but she had a very “rude” attitude towards my mother as if we should already know the answer and did not respond to her with positivity or any sort of care. This was when we visited evening on 7th Sept. Please, train your staff to have manners. It’s a temple, where people should come together as community and help Each other. Other than that, we encountered no problem and would recommend people to visit for peace and to reflect.

There is a magnificent Hindu temple in this region that is definitely worth a visit. We had a refreshing and rejuvenating experience there today. The temple offers prayers to a variety of gods and goddesses, including Venkateshwara, Shiva, Vinayaga, Muruga, Sai Baba, Ayyappa, Hanuman, Lakshmi, Shakthi, Parvathi, and others. There is ample space for free parking, and the temple does not charge devotees for normal darshan or prashad (morning, afternoon and evening) or to use the children's playgrounds. However, the temple accepts donations for various purposes. If you wish to do a special Archanai, it is available at a reasonable cost.

Very nice and peaceful place. Good temple with ample parking space and a lot of space for children. Temple in the traditional South Indian temple architecture and the deities are all as per the South Indian temple style. Easy access on the highway without having to enter the city from the motor way. Recommend a visit if you are in this vicinity.

Nice temple and very calm atmosphere. The puja room is little crammed considering lot of open space and very big ground. Architecture somewhat resembles of tirupati temple. Had decent walk from sandwell and Dudley station. Else you can walk little and catch 87 bus or come from Birmingham new street directly via 87 bus. There is aarti around 11 am our time and had to wait for curtains to open. So you may have to wait.

The premier Tirupati Balaji temple in the UK, situated near Birmingham, is easily accessible from London and other cities by car. If opting for public transportation, the nearest train station is Sandwell and Dudley. A quick cab ride takes you to the temple in 5-10 minutes, or enjoy a leisurely 20-30 minute walk. The temple often provides lunch in the communal area at the rear during weekends (uncertain about weekdays). It's a clean and spacious place, perfect for a family or friends outing, with ample parking available.

A must Visit Place if you go to Birmingham , Once you enter the temple , you never feel you are in the UK or away from home , It just feels like you are in some temple in India itself . Wonderful free spaces to spend time after visiting the temple , would like to visit once more when i am in the UK , I guess if you visit the temple during afternoon hours , they serve a tasty food , one of the best prasadam's ever.

  • 5/5 Prasanna S. 3 years ago on Google
Huge campus. Parking available for hundreds of cars. Inside the temple it's a massive hall for the main deity. On the most recent visit after lockdown was lifted we're pleased to see many more important improvements such as rain protection outside Ganesh & Murugan temples. Hot food served in temple campus is priceless of course during last visits. Yes- during Covid lockdown no food is served.

It’s a Hindu Religious place. A really wonderful place to visit if you in Birmingham area. We go there usually and you always feel like you are home in India. During our visit through the pandemic, it has been a wonderful experience. Prior booking is required, The directions were quite clear and a number of volunteers were present to ensure everyone was safe. One way system and social distancing followed throughout. Only 1 family allowed into the shrine once and in the main shrine volunteers are present to give directions. It feels very safe to be in the premises. PS- There is a dosa shop in the premises and a Indian grocery store too. A must visit.

Birmingham City one of the famous Lord Venkateshwara temple is located in Dudley road East. Easy way to commute from Swindon is train to Sandwell dudley stop from there it's an walkable 👣 15 mints walk ,also if you have a car it's an 1 hr journey.. In covid atmost precaution is taken, pre-online booking is done, check-in at reception information & identity is verified and set to visit main temple, we were even provided with packed food, good enough to fill your stomach, best part is only one person or one family is allowed at a time inside the shrine visit, so there are limited bookings taken, amazingly good time, my first visit to hindu temple in UK 🎂 Only improvement there should be some indication board near by while we arrive to location.
