Isn’t it grate to get out in the open and enjoy the outdoors .. grate place to walk the dogs, the the kids out or just go for a nice stroll ,, You get nice wide pan views and very open feeling, it’s like your in the county side but yeh only a few miles out from Birmingham city centre It’s not so busy located near a few high street with in miles so nice place to explore if you not been to these sides of Birmingham

Nice lake. Walk behind it to get up to the impressive locks. Keep walking up there and you have good views of Alexander stadium.

You can find large areas of grass here which is awesome if you wish to walk your dog in the park. However I thought that it looked somewhat dull appart from the reservoir area where swans and ducks can be seen.

Construction works were underway in preparation for the 2022 commonwealth games so its probably nicer when that isn't going on. Still though a cute little palm area, free car park and green space.

Beautiful park through which the river Tame runs. There are some lovely mature trees.

Beautiful large park which has oaved areas for running and extensive green areas for sport. During the weekend they hold ParkRun events and locals attend for other events too. The park also has dedicated staff which ensure it is clean and well maintained. Well worth the visit on a nice sunny day.

I visited this place as I was performing at the opening ceremony of The Commonwealth Games, so it didn't look much like a park! Very impressive stadium!

Attending the Commonwealth Games at the Alexander Stadium was such an experience . The atmosphere and friendlyness of all concerned ( stewards /retail outlets etc ) was a tribute to the hard work of the organisers and Birmingham City Council. Track and field events were something else , to see Athletes from the Commonwealth countries taking part was amazing and contributed to a totally enjoyable evening.

We visited for the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony. It was very busy and organised very well. Perfect for what was required

As an Athlete Host, it was an unforgetable experience to meet and link up with international athletes during the opening ceremony who were gearing up for the beginning of their respective competitions in the Birmingham 2022 Common Wealth Games

Love this place, never seen so many swans on one lake or different breeds of ducks I've never really seen before Water level is a little low just hope it doesn't dry up in the summer

Really massive park with a kids play area and lots of football pitches. A river runs through it so there are lots of geese, ducks and swans to feed. Nice planted area and lots of trees, so the landscape changes with the seasons. The added bonus for me is you can get to One stop if you want some refreshments!

Clean park, large open space and nice for a pleasant stroll could do with a play gym for kiddies, Sandwell Valley Park (Dartmouth) is fantastic for this

Well our poor Perry Park is in a mess. The builders of the stadium have reeked havoc on the surrounding feilds around the stadium. Their rubbish is everywhere. They are putting in a road to the stadium. Through the park from church road too. Many trees have been felled. And spoil is pulled up all down one edge of the path in from Aldridge road side. It will never be the same. Even if they do make amends.

Asked for bread with my portion of chips and I've seen paper thicker than the bread they offered. Waitress were nice but virtually everything we asked for they didn't have.
