Really fab site. Great to see the ruins and read the various information signs placed around it. It was lovely and peaceful, with stunning views of the countryside. The museum is small, but has a good range of artefacts and stonework to view. It's all free to enter. The 2 people manning the museum were welcoming, approachable and friendly. They were very knowledgeable and great to chat with. The site itself has steps to get into the field so isn't wheelchair accessible, but the museum is. Parking is great, plenty of spaces and no charges. There are also some picnic benches under a shaded area next to it. The site has 2 walks to do. One at 1.3 miles and the other at 2.4. There is a helpful map in the car park and plenty of signs to point you in the direction you want to go. Dogs are welcome but please pick up after them! A bowl of water is left outside the museum, which is a lovely touch. So many places are very anti dog and it was awesome to find somewhere that accepts them. I will be back with my own 2 for another visit. They will love a walk around the trails. It's a beautiful place so be responsible, tidy up after yourselves and be respectful to the villagers!

Bath House & mansion. Walk round, useful boards. Full of rabbits when we dropped in early evening. Museum open 10-4? So closed.

Well preserved ruins to explore with informative boards explaining their purpose. A great site tucked away in the countryside. Definitely worth spending half an hour here along with the nearby museum. It's all free. We just parked on the road in Wall without any issue.

A nicely presented Roman site with remains of a bath house and guest house. The site is owned by the National Trust and managed by English Heritage, which is why the same place appears on both websites - that wasn't clear to me before I visited! The small museum is free but only open on some days - check before you travel. The volunteers staffing it were very friendly and informative, and helped me enjoy my visit. Strongly recommended for an insight into Roman activity in this area.

An interesting piece of history. Unfortunately, I arrived after the museum had already closed but I took a wander around the exposed walls, I didn't do either the trails. There's a small car park at the beginning of the trails with 4 picnic benches under trees to rest and eat. It would make for an interesting day out.

Tranquil. Amazing to think the Romans trod the same ground. Beautiful little place. We loved it and will definitely visit again.

Site is very well looked after; grass cut, trimmed hedges, flowers on the way there. The information points are of high quality. Also there is what seems like a dedicated car park. In fact, the whole village had a very nice vibe. What has been preserved covers a fairly small area but there's still enough to envision what life could've been like from circa 50AD. It's similar to Vindolanda but smaller. There's a (very) small museum which is kept open by volunteers in the village. I can't commend these people enough; they're friendly and do a great job. The museum itself contains items excavated from the site and surrounding area including pottery, arrowheads, coins etc. There's some text in the displays to give enough context to the items. I'd allow 30-60min for the site and 15min for the museum. A peaceful day out.

Small sized roman ruins of a previous mansion and bath house dating from ad50. Nowadays there are often campsites nearby now. Free entry

Interesting place to visit. Handy leaflet for 20p in the honesty box, which gave you a couple of walks to follow giving you detailed info at points along the way. Great scenery and despite its proximity to the motorway, lovely and peaceful. Interesting ruins with information boards at the different areas. Unfortunately the museum was closed which was disappointing but we unfortunately picked the wrong weekend to visit. Hopefully be back another time to take a look inside.

Nice place to visit and also the small church overlooking the site. There are some information shields to help you further imagine how it looked.

We visited on a misty Sunday out of season, so the museum was shut. However, entrance to the site is free in reasonable daylight hours, and there are plenty of interpretation boards around the site. These are informative, but not as good as I have seen at other English Heritage sites. Probably time for a revamp! It was nice to see that the 'Friends' have provided some lovely flower borders at the entrance. In addition to the Roman ruins, a stand by the car park sells leaflets for 20p which provide a guided walk around the area. We very much enjoyed this and would have done so even more had the weather not deteriorated to heavy rain. We will come back again on a nicer day after we have done some background reading!

We were looking for a picnic stop on the A5 as we travelled from North Wales to South Leicestershire and this was ideal. As English Heritage members we found a free car park with picnic tables and then had a walk around the site of the roman remains of Wall. There were lots of information boards showing how life was in Roman times. We were disappointed that the museum wasn't open on that day.

Small place but nice to visit, there are nice and welcoming ladies, also beautiful surroundings. I recommend to have a plan for visiting Cathedral Lichfield after this.

Lovely place to explore. Interesting reading the signs explaining what each part of the ruins would have been hundreds of years ago. Lovely views and a nice little walk around the area. The museum was not open at the time we went so cannot comment on that.

I think the Romans were more civilised than we are today. Where are our modern day steam and exercise rooms modelled on the Roman design?

Lovely village for a walk, if I'd had more time it would have been good to go further

Called in mid week and had the place to ourselves although the car park was full of car that had obviously been there for a more than 24 hours. I suspect from local houses.

What an amazing hidden gem! Thoroughly enjoyed the views and walks. Plenty for the little ones to do, with the use of their imagination and climbing skills!

A great open space to see the remains of a baths and another large 'mansio'. The area is a 2 min walk from a small free carpark. The museum is currently closed because of the Lockdown but the ruins are fully accessible.

Lovely little place to go. The museum was interesting and had a few thing there u could hold. And the Romans wall was really good to walk around. My kids love adventuring around on and off the walls. Really lovely place.

The guides are so friendly here and helpful. Really felt welcomed. Great plaques up detailing about the different areas of the baths. This site is English Heritage but you can visit with your National Trust card. The museum next to the site has some interesting artifacts found at the site like the dice made of bone. It's a great place to visit with little children as they can have a good romp. There is a small car park but it fills up quicky. There is free parking on the nearby roads. Would recommend a visit.

A really good example of a Roman town, we love seeing Roman remains after going to Rome and seeing it, love imagining what it would have been like. The museum was shut at the time (gutted).

With good structure to receive visitors. Roman buildings dating from the 2nd century are the main attraction of the place, it is also worth a visit to the small Baptist church that is just behind the Roman ruins.

Good place to sit and just catch your breath. Sat there for a few hours. Saw only 3 or 4 people briefly walk around it. It's not big. But if you need somewhere tranquil just to sit. I recommend going and just sitting with music on and just breath.

Me and my wife went here on Sunday to look around the site, it was so quiet and only four people looking around it.
