Great park! Kids loved it! There is outdoor gym, large skate park, big climbing frame, football pitch and large space for walking and jogging. Park itself is really tidy. There is car park in front of playing area.

Only local park with a skatepark. It's a big park with ice cream van on site and playing and fitness equipment spread out across the park. Basketball court there a it's a good outside space for kids and families.

Good park with runnin/walking circuits, fitness machines. Just don't walk into any of the overgrown areas because they are strewn with rubbish and much much worse. Needles, used condoms, drugs and broken glass. This place is a total health hazard, take my advice and stick to the paths, then at least you can see what you're about to step on... See images below

Feb half term Bring it on Brum hosted this FREE event. Sun was shining so much for children all ages to do I took 3 Yr old, 7,8 & 10 Yr old. Art n crafts table delicious Indian food. A gaming van with 10 screens, inside the centre they had VR games fifa and more, skate boarding lessons and competition just an amazing dun packed day. The Dj from Mypartypackage (Instagram) was so entertaining kept the good vibes interactions with children second to none.

A great family park in Yardley B25 area. It has 2 kids play areas, 2 outdoor gym, skateboarding and basketball court. The park is massive to play any sports such as cricket, football, badminton or volleyball. It's nice spot for family picnic as well. Just keep in mind that there are no restrooms (toilets) around. This place is dog friendly!

The perfect place for speed walking, jogging, or doing back and forth sprints. There are two children's play areas and some communal exercise equipment for adults. If you're training for a run, there is a start point - after which paths are marked at intervals with distance travelled in meters. There's also chin-up bars, monkey bars, parallel bars, football areas etc. Superb view of the city centre from on high, looking west. Suitable for light cycling too.

The Oaklands Recreation ground is one of the best places in my mind to watch the sunset in Birmingham. It is such a flat, wide open space, you can see for miles into the horizon, into Birmingham and beyond! When the sun starts to set the park is filled with a back drop of stunning silhouettes, shadows and beautiful colours! πŸ™πŸΌπŸ˜

The location has a lot of vegetation. A good running track. There are numerous conveniences for daily exercises. However, it does not bring much joy to children.

Amazing park and great for the community around who all come here on a good day. There's an excellent track for running, three big play areas around the park, one outdoor gym with other gym equipment scattered around the park like bars for dips and pull ups. There is also a nice skatepark with an ice cream van next to it most of the times, as well as a basketball court where you can play football too with goals. It's also a clean park. If you need to go to the toilet or the shops, Tesco Swan Centre is opposite the park as well.

Absolute blast being there. Lots of wild kids but altogether nice layout. Has a decent bowl with metal coping, made of smooth concrete and has decent half pipes alongside a main box in the centre with multiple banks and a stair set.

Beautiful park in Yardley area just next to my house, the best part is that it’s having two Open Air free Gyms

Huge recreation ground. Mostly quite. You can do most of the sports, like football, walking, gym, etc, all for free. It is clean and green area. A place for all ages of people. Easy to reach.

This is a great place for a couple of hours out with the family (weather permitting) there's a gym area, a measured run distance and really good playground. Plenty of green field for picnics and family games. Some parking but plenty of near roads to park on.

Such a lovely area for children and families to play. Also respectful of the natural environment, which is great for children to see and be a part of. One of the better things the council have done.

Got to the park for a nice picnic just as it started raining, lucky for us there was some lovely overgrown foliage where would could set up and shared our ham sandwiches with the friends vermin who decided to join us. Friendly park, lots of "wildlife", questionable kid friendly creative artwork with on the skate park and poo free grass. Just what you need and expect from a Birmingham park

This is an ace little park. Interesting features I've not seen elsewhere. Nice sized 3/4 bowl section at the back with interesting hips and shapes. Some decent transitions of varying sizes. Euro gap. Big banks. 5 stair. Few ledges. And more.! It's fairly small but high quality. When I went the park was full of young kids so you best know how to dodge lol but it was lovely to skate, very smooth crack free concrete and after 6 the crowds were gone and you could get some good speed and lines going. Also met 2 really sound friendly skaters to sesh with, shout out to Leo and Taylor πŸ‘ŠπŸΌ

Lovely nature friendly flower beds are to be found here. Although i got stung by a bee. An array of exercise equipment is spread around the Oak Lands... however I'm old and fat so these are of no interest to me. WONDERFUL to see such a large SKATE PARK which offers young enthusiasts the opportunity to "rip it" without fear of some square calling five oh... for no reasone. It was sunny.

It's a great place for leisure and picnics, but the lack of a public restroom is not the only phenomenon that caught my eye in all the parks in Birmingham.

Lovely park, been improved a lot over the last few years. Two playgrounds with good equipment. Great natural planting. Shame that it's not particularly safe to go to in the evening.
