Located in the Black Country not to far from merry hill shopping centre , ideal for a pleasant walk , enjoy a sounds of birds , there’s a few lakes in the nature reserve and mini Forrest. Information boards dotted around the park giving some historical information about the area. Not wheelchair friendly as some parts of the tracks are muddy walk ways, not concrete and some steep slops also

Hiking Trails, Fish ponds, Big open spaces and canals. It is perfect for those summer day picnics or dog walking. Cleanliness is okay considering this is a nature reserve rather than a park. You need atleast 2-3 hoirs to explore it all.

This annual canal festival is lovely and brings people together from the canal network and those living locally. Although the festival is much smaller than years ago the gathering still retains its village fete atmosphere. Stalls, food stands, crafts and food and drink boats, music on two stages, real ale bar, gin and coffee vans, show ring and fair all help to make this a fun weekend for all the family. All around Windmill End.

They say beautiful things come is small packages. This is especially true of Warrens Hall Nature Reserve. Most people don't realise that it's the same place as Bumble Hole Nature Reserve. There are no physical barriers between the two, it's just half is owned and run by Dudley Council & the other Sandwell. For a few square miles of land the reserve has a diverse amount of scenery and wildlife. There are canals and ponds populated with wild fowl, woodland and open spaces. Examples of Victorian engineering such as the amazing Netherton Tunnel and Cobbs Engine House. The highest hill, that offers an amazing view of the local area is in fact an old pile of excess mining material (years of growth has disguised the fact). This is the magical secret of this place, they're always hidden aspects waiting to be discovered for those willing to look.

Great little nature reserve with a preserved engine house to look around as well as pools for fishing and loads of birds to look out for, also has the 2.7 mile netherton canal tunnel entrance, you can walk right through to the other side which is great, make sure you have some kind of torch and wear some decent footwear as there are plenty of leaks so the floor is quite soggy in places

Great place. Very peaceful. You need to check out the canals and the Netherton Canal tunnel. It's great. It's a good long walk....1.7miles. Take a touch as there is no lights and be wary of the big puddles......

Lovely place to walk around. There is the nature reserve and the canal to walk beside. In normal times there is a volunteer led visitor centre which has toilets and sells coffee etc. Always something new to see, specially in the Spring as the blossom starts to appear. Parts are steep in the nature reserve, but it is a flat walk by the canal. One end of the Netherton Tunnel starts at Bumble Hole for those brave enough to venture into the dark!.

Very tranquil and peaceful place, but it depends upon the time of the year and weather. If it's cold outside and in the middle of winter, you will see hardly anyone, and wrap up warm and wear a woolly hat and gloves. But summer time not busy just a lot more people taking their pet's for a walk, or out just strolling and taking in nature as couples or individuals. Summer time ,is the time you will see fairs and fates and market stalls, on narrow boats and on the side of the canal towpath but not blocking it . There's a canal museum, come coffee and tea shop with toilets for able bodied people and disabled people, the museum has a ramp, but the door width its standard i think but they can be opened to make more room, but looking through too the toilets there is a door facing the ramp looking from the outside. That's the write size for a wheelchair if you don't mind coming in past the toilets . They offer the usual cakes "got to be their on the write day they are made fresh " so they don't last long ,sweets and so on. They museum is the part that makes up the decor of the house, you sit drink your tea eat your cake and read the captions and look at the pieces of gone bye pieces of history . Overall a nice day out if you want to walk your dog and maybe have a cup of tea and a run up on local history πŸ‘πŸΎ.

A pleasant place to walk. There was a section without a path - glassy field turning to mud in places where churned up underfoot. Sensible appropriate footwear advised. A good spot to start a canal walk, though be warned if you choose to walk the Netherton Tunnel - 1.7 miles long, no lightning and many many puddles.

It's a nice walk and the park is really clean. There are fishing ponds and canals to walk with a pretty canal junction. There is also the cobbs engine house which is nice to visit aswell as walking the creepy netherton tunnel.

Was our first time visiting today. We have 3 young children and a puppy. I was so impressed by the park. Plenty of paths to walk down. The canals and towpaths are easily accesible woth a short walk from the car park. And then there are the pools you can walk around. The dog and the children had such a good time. They were all knackered after being there for 2 and a half hours.

You're able to park here and cycle along the canal and visit varoius pubs and cafes along the way. Would have given 5β˜† but idiots leave their rubbish behind, which spoilt things a little.

Been going here all my life, a long time. 😟. Walk around the old engine house then go down across the canal and have a look into the Netherton tunnel. Good place to walk your dog or just have a look around. 2 hours at the most.

Beautiful place to bring kids and dogs. However the small car park at the top by the small pool needs CCTV. Inconsiderate drivers damaging other people's cars swinging their doors open with no care at all. Other than that, great nature views

Really nice to walk around some nice pools to fish when the weather pick's up add a walk around last week and enjoyed it definitely going there again

Lovely traditional looking stretch of industrial canal with black and white cast iron bridges. The annual boat show is a great day out, barges, stalls, entertainment, fun fair and more There are a lot of rough undesirable types around the area though which does let the area down a bit.

It's not a great fishing day ... was talking to other anglers, and they mentioned that the pools may have been netted and fish poached. Where are the council and police to prevent this.

Our local nature reserve is breathtakingly beautiful. So peaceful that you can hide from day to day worries. A soothing treat for sore eyes. Kids absolutely loved this place. Definitely coming back here again. X

Lovely place to walk in a local green space. There's a number of pools visited by Moorhens and Mallards. You can go off the main paths and walk along other paths in more wooded areas. If you prefer, you can walk along the canal tow paths that traverse the area. For those who like historical content, you can visit the Windmill End Pumping Station that dates to around 1831. The main car park is very small so you may have to park on road. There's no parking charge or admission charge.
