Leasowes woods is a cute lil place to go to with your friends all year round. You have a great view of Halesowen when your on the top of the hill, there is a bench you can sit on and enjoy the view. Go there when its snowed alot its magical.

Beautiful woodland park near to Halesowen. Moderately sized car park. Lovely walks around the park which skirts around parts of Halesowen golf course . There are two pools with picturesque waterfalls.

Gem. Glad I found this place! I much preferred this to something like Canon Hill Park. The views were impressive. The golf course very pretty. Nice escape only 20 minute drive from central Birmingham :)

What a wonderful place to wander. Lots of pools. Amazing birds. See pics. As a Brummie I grew up playing here better known as Mucklow Hill. I spent many a day exploring here as a child. Some 50 years later. Iโ€™ve spent lovely days watching the wildlife. Kingfishers galore. Must admit i absolutely hate the dodging of stray golf balls. It is between a golf course. Not a fan but you canโ€™t have it all. Free parking. Good for all the family. Go and visit. Itโ€™s great.

Great place to take the kids for a walk. Lots of different trails for all ages. Spent a couple of hours here exploring and found lots to see. Plenty of wildlife and streams as well as various man made waterfalls. The childrenโ€™s park is a tad small but free onsite parking so canโ€™t really complain. An on site shop or cafe would be lovely but you canโ€™t have everything!

A marvellous place to take the whole family for a gentle walk. A few different trails for all ages. You could easy spend a few of hours exploring the wildlife, streams, and mini waterfalls. There's also a small childrenโ€™s park and free onsite parking.

Residents of Halesowen can take their families to Leasowes Park to explore and enjoy nature. There are trails for people of all ages, and there are a lot of animals, streams, and man-made waterfalls to see. A small park for kids is also there, and parking is free. Even though the park's steep terrain can make it hard for people with limited mobility to get around, it is a beautiful open space with a lot to see. Bring the right shoes and go on a walk, have a picnic, or let the kids play. People who like to walk their dogs and want to be alone can also enjoy the park.

Such a beautiful park with a wide variety of walking trails suitable for all ages and skills. I took our baby here however itโ€™s probably not recommended taking a pram as it is slightly uneven but there are some well so many beautiful views and it has a large car park as well And it is also free. There is also a ranger station with information which is very helpful. The Rangers are also incredibly friendly.

A beautiful and historic park. Great for a dog walk with different trails. Thereโ€™s a kidโ€™s adventure playground too. Would really benefit from an on site cafe and toilets.

Absolutely beautiful place, we go here a number of times a week. Also found the hidden gem...the walled garden!! and the volunteers working there were so so lovely.

Large park landscaped by William Shenstone in the 18th century. Well maintained walks and while steep in parts has nice water features and the ability to burn a lot of calories thanks to the slopes ๐Ÿ˜‰ the carpark does not give the best impression and the play area is in desperate need of renovation. However the wooded areas and walks are very pleasant.

Great park, ideal for family and dog walks. If weather allows, dogs enjoy getting into the several ponds and streams you can find in the walking routes. If you go with the family, there is a small place for a children's playground with some picnic tables. But the best fun is to walk around forests, streams, and ponds with ducks. Refreshing and particularly soul healing in a sunny day. A gem to find in the city. Recommended!

First time checking out this park. Lovely trail walks, through trees, around the lake & along a stream. Grass areas & benches for a picnic with a small play area, but needs a major update. Free parking

Could be sign posted better instead of just arrows. Some benches could be added near the pool to create a cooler sensation on hotter days when cooling down is paramount. Its a beautiful place to hike and relax.

Only found this wonderful place a few months ago. It can get busy at weekends, but in the week day's it's usually quiet and very peaceful๐Ÿค— Met lot's of friendly dog's ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿฆฎ๐Ÿ•โ€๐Ÿฆบ๐Ÿฉ and their owner's. From the large lake, the smaller pools, water falls and woodland setting, my fur baby loves it to๐Ÿฅฐ

Great place to visit, a lot of parking spaces but can become very full during the summer months/ weekends. There's a larger pond in the centre of the park which is great for feeding the ducks and is free from (visible) litter etc. Then you have some scenic walks through the wooded area, great for exploring kids or just a nice walk. Would be great to see just a bit of investment go into this park though, a revamp to the small play area would be welcome.

  • 4/5 Emma N. 2 years ago on Google
There are some very pretty walks around this park. Little pools, streams and lots of nature to see. The play area is not very big and doesn't have much for a younger child to play on as we found out on our first visit today!

What a lovely woodland area! The stream is just amazing

  • 5/5 LadyJai 1 year ago on Google
It's a really lovely open space with lots to see as you walk round. People with limited mobility will definitely struggle round there as there are some very steep parts. You also really need to wear the correct shoes, don't make my mistake and wear flat mules! I would think from previous visits, the canal towpath is probably best and flattest to walk along. My Westie enjoyed herself even though it was very, very hot. Large car park and a small play area for kids which could probably do with being updated, lots of grassed areas though for them to play on and they would probably enjoy the paths near the stream. It's a nice place to walk your dog, take your kids or just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet and watch the ducks.

Lovely public park with both the pool & the canal to walk along. Just a pity some dog owners are so careless as there is loads of dog poo around.

Nice park. Golfers were unnecessarily aggressive though. They need to accept that a footpath cruises the course and that people will use it!

  • 4/5 Clair W. 3 years ago on Google
Love Leasowes Park and so do my boys ~ lots of trails and paths to follow and fantastic scenery ! My boys love sledging in the snow here. Would give 5 stars but the paths can get very muddy at times and slippy under foot after heavy rain. Unfortunately the saddest part is the amount of dog poo recently that irresponsible dog owners don't clean up particularly along the canal path at the top of the park.

Beautiful place. One of my favourite spots is possibly unknown to a few, is where the infected tree stands. It's dying due to a fungal disease but the surrounding area to home to so much wildlife. One of my favourite all time spots

Amazing riverside walks up to viewpoint. Popular spot but always room for peace and quiet. Seen sparrowhawk, kestrel and kingfisher regularly. Always a banging walk, even in wet weather as plenty of tree cover. Highly recommended

Really lovely park. Quite a nice play area with some picnic benchs next to it. Loads of paths perfect for long walks, nice pond with a few ducks. Great park for a day out/ picnic . Also noticed some people were fishing, so I guess that is allowed in the park's pond . Perfect for a day out in nature. Would highly recommend, especially for families and dog owners .

Lovely walking through Leasowes Park, lots of work has been done on the paths and waterfalls. Quite a few families and dog walkers but everyone kept their distance. So wonderful to see the start of spring with snowdrops, catkins and new leaves sprouting. Well done wardens, it looks great.

Nice way to spend some time. Limited parking if you go peak time such as Saturday lunchtime. Not a place to go if you dislike children or dogs. Great for feeding the ducks. Wear wellies or walking boots if it's been wet even the day before as it's pretty muddy.
