Absolutely lovely place for a walk and take in the history of the days when canals were the arteries of the midlands. The coffee shops and bars provide ample places to dine...

So beautiful so lovely amazing long walks. Apparently Birmingham has the most canals and rivers in England. And they are beautifully preserved. Dog walkers paradise.

Pleasant place to go which isn't too far out of the way. It's a nice place to walk and see a bit if nature. You have the 10th lock pub at the bottom which is a great place for food and drink or Brierley Hill town or Merry Hill a short walk from the top

A little known treasure of the canal system. Beautifully aligned wiers between each pound line up to make a seemingly-continuous waterfall. Beautiful - especially on a lovely hot summer's day as it was when we were there.

A local treasure. Pop in The Tenth Lock pub for a warm welcome and good food at great prices.

Lovely walk with steep incline. Amazing how the locks were constructed. The area is known for its beers which are brewed at the Bathams pub on Delph Road

Lovely place to visit except for cyclists down the locks who expect you to know to move out the way when they cycle behind you with no bell. Dismount at link 51 and walk down locks out of courtesy

A stunning set of locks well maintained. We did not find a convenient carpark and had to park at the side of a nearby road. A little difficult to find due to a lack of signposts, but well worth the effort.
