Superb on site cafe at this site and excellent free parking. Location to park is at the Aztec site on the roundabout opposite the Webb’s turn. The toilet is on level ground making it accessible to people with more limited mobility and is close to the cafe - through an adjacent door. The views are extraordinary. It is in a truly awful looking office building but do not be put off by this or the ‘ Takeaway cafe’ sign as it means they’re being compliant by using disposable but plastic free as far as they can, containers plus you can take items away if you choose. Excellent friendly staff and service. Tables wiped with disinfectant after each visitor. It gave me some quiet reflective time after such a truly awful year. I could see two little egrets, a group of tufted ducks and flocks of Canada geese from the cafe on the main water sport lake and this wasn’t even on the quiet lakes further into the bird reserve. Such a hidden gem.

Small reserve across two sites, need to drive a few mins between them. Short walks to the hides and surprisingly large number of birds seen. Comfortable hides and very friendly locals happy to share their knowledge. Cafe by the sailing lake is good for coffee, cake and lunch.

Always a pleasure to visit, the seven hides are in good locations and you will usually see a large variety of birds, the maintenance on the reserve is second to none and they are always thinking of ways to attract more wildlife and do a great job in doing so. Also a very friendly and popular place to visit.

Best place to see birds in Worcestershire. Very well managed reserve. You need to be a member of the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust to get the full enjoyment, but we'll worth the annual subscription.

An excellently maintained wetland Nature Reserve. A haven for wildlife. Host to a large number of resident and migrant waterfowl and woodland birds. Comfortable, warm birdhides with spectacular views over the pools. Busy sailing pool.

Lovely nature reserve with plenty to see. Very well maintained by volunteers. Has two parts, the flashes is on the right-hand side of the sailing lake at Webb's island, this is inland old salt workings pools very popular with Avocets. The second part known as the Moors is on the right further up the road towards Bromsgrove. Hides at both sites. Entry is £3 or free if member of Worcestershire wildlife trust. Day permits can be bought from the café at the sailing pool.

Had a great day here. Went the flashes area and moors pools area. Great variety of birds seen. Went to The Boat Shack for our meal. Great food, service and reasonable prices. Local food. Heartily recommend the reserve and food. Plenty of hides too.

This is an absolutely beautiful place. It is so tranquil with an amazing array of birds including but not limited too Avocet, Stonechat and Lapwing. The hides are well maintained and even have cushions and binoculars in the moor to borrow as well as books to read within the hide. Despite the proximity to the road the hides seem to completely absorb the sound of traffic so you are just immersed in this lovely place looking at these beautiful birds. I highly recommend this to any bird lover or anyone who wants a good day out

A fabulous reserve. Me & my partner have spent many happy days watching the birds from the super hides. Always something to see and on occasions there are some real treats.
