The
hotel
building
is
centrally
located
&
approximately
10
minutes
walk
from
Birmingham
New
Street
station
&
Digbeth
coach
station.
There
are
also
several
car
parks
nearby.
Also
quite
handy
for
walking
distance
to
most
of
central
Birmingham.
Good
views
from
most
rooms.
The
hotel
occupies
18
floors
above
the
ground
floor.
We
had
a
superior
room
on
the
13th
&
15th
floor.
The
room
is
well
laid
out
with
a
good
sized
bed,
complimentary
bottled
water,
tea
&
coffee,
kettle
&
fridge.
Bathroom
is
good
size.
Seats
&
a
table
are
next
to
the
window,
end
bench
at
the
foot
of
the
bed
&
a
luggage
rack.
There
are
also
ice
buckets
in
the
rooms
&
dispensers
on
each
floor
near
the
lifts.
There
is
a
room
safe
below
the
kettle
area.
The
rooms
we
had
were
reasonably
clean.
At
the
windows
there
are
blackout
curtains
as
well
as
sheer
net
curtains
if
you
don't
want
to
block
out
light.
The
room's
electric
lighting
is
good.
USB
sockets
are
next
to
the
bed
on
both
sides.
Check-in
was
easy
&
the
staff
team
are
very
nice
&
helpful
and
there
is
a
bar
&
lounge
next
to
the
reception
area.
The
hotel
is
quite
secure
&
a
key
card
is
required
for
the
lifts
as
well
as
the
rooms.
When
I
did
speak
with
staff
on
check-out
about
the
issues,
I
was
given
20%
off
the
bill
&
an
apology
for
the
issues
below
so
that
was
fine
with
me.
Disliked · I've
worked
on
the
10th
floor
in
a
fully
south
facing
glass
building.
Our
stay
was
on
17/06/2022,
so
I
knew
the
room
would
be
hot,
given
that
heat
rises
from
the
other
floors
&
the
building
faces
south
west
but
sure
the
air
conditioning
system
would
cool
that
down,
right?
Wrong.
The
air
conditioning
unit
only
goes
as
low
as
19
degrees
Celsius
but
most
air
conditioned
rooms
I've
stayed
at
including
Premier
Inn's
premier
plus
rooms,
go
down
to
16C.
That
said
at
least
the
fan
output
from
the
unit
would
be
decent.
Wrong
again.
It
was
woefully
weak
and
the
only
area
being
vaguely
cooled
was
directly
below
the
vent.
It
was
cooler
in
the
hotel
hallways
&
outside.
The
3
pin
plug
sockets
are
all
on
the
opposite
wall
to
the
end
of
the
bed
and
most
are
low
down.
Why
is
it
so
hard
for
a
hotel
to
have
sockets
higher
up?
What
about
the
backs
of
the
cleaning
staff
who
have
to
use
these
every
day?
The
sockets
need
to
be
raised
up.
The
carpet
immediately
outside
the
bathroom
in
both
rooms
is
well
worn
so
could
do
with
replacing
&
the
ice
bucket
in
the
second
room
was
dirty
as
well
as
the
soap
being
stuck
down
on
the
sink
because
it
had
been
used
&
left
there
for
some
time.
Clearly
these
had
been
missed
when
servicing
the
rooms.
The
mattresses
in
both
rooms
also
sagged
at
the
pillow
end.
I
cannot
say
this
enough
to
hotels,
regular
end
to
end
rotation(turning
180
in
a
circle,
not
flipping)of
mattresses
will
ensure
even
wear
as
well
making
the
mattress
last
longer
as
well
as
guests
having
a
comfortable
sleep.
The
reason
for
the
two
rooms
was
because
of
the
heat.
We
changed
from
the
13th
to
15th
floor
but
the
problem
with
the
air
conditioning
&
heat
was
just
the
same.
We
stayed
in
the
15th
floor
room
but
due
to
the
heat,
we
kept
waking
up
during
the
night
&
the
fan
that
was
brought
up
was
noisy
&
didn't
do
much
but
blow
the
warm
air
around.
We
also
ended
up
taking
multiple
showers
&
air
drying
to
try
&
cool
off
