I stayed for one night in the jury’s Inn. It’s located in the center of Birmingham. The staff is very friendly and polite. Rooms: They are really beautiful and clean. I am not a fan of the old fashioned floor carpet, buts it’s okay. The AC on the room was crazy. I felt like working/ sleeping in a fridge. Also when I turned the temperature to 25°. Breakfast: They have a really great big buffet with traditional English breakfast. It tasted amazing. Only point I didn’t like was that there are nearly all tables dirty when I arrived. Maybe a lot of the guest left right before more. Overall a great stay.

Brilliant hotel, super friendly and helpful staff. Building interior looks great. Room was big, modern and very clean. Walk in shower and brightly lit bathroom, comfy beds too. Also got a free upgrade which was very much appreciated! Breakfast was nice, varied selection and pretty well done. Overall I honestly can't fault it. Will definitely stay here again if ever visiting the arena again, very convenient location for the arena and for the bullring.

I stayed in the Executive Room. The room and the service were amazing. It's the best service that I've had all year. What put the hotel above the rest is the staff. The reception staff were welcoming and the cleaning staff were stellar. The cleaning staff checked each day to see if we needed anything topped up. Didn't get that service in Canary Wharf. The shower was great and the renovations look great. The carpets could be updated. Great location as well.

This is a really lovely place to stay. Staff are always very welcoming and helpful. The food is great but I find the portion size a tad to small. Rooms are very clean, very comfy beds. I really enjoy my stay here. It’s also really close to the station and the town centre . Takes me about 10 minutes to walk from the station to the hotel. There is also a gym on site, even though it’s not mentioned on the website. This is a fantastic hotel to stay at. Looking forward to my next visit.

Excellent stay. Very friendly staff at check-in. Great room. Newly refurbished I think. Currently being redeveloped, but the work didn't get in the way of our stay. VERY long wait for food in the bar as only one staff member working the bar and taking/delivering orders. Easy and cheap parking on site.

Lovely hotel. Would stay again. The room was immaculate, the breakfast was a buffet and outstanding. Staff were good. The only criticism would be for the room service. There was a menu in the room but no instruction on how to contact them. After several attempts at phoning I actually got a ring tone as such but nobody answered. Would be giving five stars if this was sorted.

The hotel itself is clean and comfortable with the rooms feeling modern and well put together. However, the hotel has big problems with soundproofing; me and my two colleagues each slept poorly in our rooms on different floors because of various and significant noise issues - the sound of the lifts is loudly audible in rooms; interconnecting doors between rooms mean next door's conversations & televisions could be heard clearly; and people in corridors caused disturbance throughout the night. Jurys Inn need to invest significantly in these issues, or else consider placing earplugs in each room. A hotel to be avoided.

Better than expected. Room decent size and clean incl bathroom. Bed very comfortable. Bar pleasant. Breakfast was good. Only two points to address. 1. My room didn't have a comfortable chair - did have a chair at the desk but would have appreciated a comfortable chair for sitting. 2. The door chain wasn't fitted properly so didn't work. A detail but might have unnerved some Overall happy with my overnight stay. Would stay again.

Comfy stay for 2 nights. Stayed in a family room. + Large bathroom and good water pressure + Breakfast was great, plenty of choice but head down earlier (more refills, so more options and hotter and fresher) + Friendly staff + Spacious rooms - water drained a little slow from bath and shower - no decaffeinated tea in rooms/at breakfast (only decaf coffee in rooms and herbals at breakfast) - one of the beds was dipped in the middle (no bother for me) - I only noticed talking and TV noise from next door in the mornings but this may have been luck

Cracking hotel, I was really surprised at the quality of the hotel and the service provided. Reception were great and the check in was really smooth. The rooms we spotless and well presented. I had buffet breakfast and if the breakfast makes your stay then go for it. Plenty of choice, whether that be cereals, fresh fruit etc. or that morning after Full English. Again the staff were super and very attentive. I parked up overnight and paid 16.50 for a full 24hrs and to be honest in the middle of Birmingham that's a fair price I think (vehicle close by. Unloaded and loaded right at the hotel and great for that morning get away) No hesitation in staying over again. Great job by all with hospitality as it should be. P.B

Lovely friendly staff. Couldn't be more helpful. The room and beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the tea/coffee making facilities. Equipped with hairdrier, iron, ironing board etc. Great bathroom with walk in shower. Food was as expected. Location handy for all modes of transport and not too far from town. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would do so again.

Excellent hotel situated in walking distance from restaurants and bars around Broad Street and the canal area. Hotel very clean, rooms a good size with excellent beds and pillows. Restaurant food was delicious served by very pleasant and helpful staff. Will definitely book again.

Really nice clean room with two double beds and a TV that worked well. The only gripe I had was the lifts were so busy it took ages to finally get one then it took ages to get to the 11th floor. Think we may have hit the busiest time (Sunday morning) checking in and out was fast and staff were friendly

very great experience, lovely rooms. Its clean elegant I got a room with a view and its amazing .The only trouble I had and everyone else I've spoken to in the hotel was the lifts , they were very busy as everyone had to wait till 3 for check in same with checking out .The bar looked good how ever the man at the bar looked very moody which was unpleasant.I brought 2 glasses of champagne which cost me 20 pounds which is on the pricey side !but I didn't know the price until the gentlemam came with the card reader ,he should gave told us the price before pouring the drinks !other than that it was lovely.

Very friendly and polite reception check in staff. Room, bathroom and bed spotless with big fluffy shower towels. The all you can eat breakfast selection was very impressive, piping hot and was very popular. Great bus and tram services. Definitely will stay here again.

The rooms were comfortable. The location was perfect as I had a meeting nearby. The parking had plenty of spaces, but I don't think it was exclusively for the hotel, so it could fill up easily.

A nice hotel, but... The beds were comfortable, the room was spotlessly clean and the facilities were good. However, what wasn't so comfortable was the stifling temperature of the room: There didn't seem to be any way to adjust it and there are no windows you can open for relief. It was zero degrees outside and about 24 in the room. The bar prices are stupid expensive. Example: £10 for a spirit measure and £5 for a can of coke.

This hotel was lovely! Great location for the Christmas Market and the staff were amazing. Particularly the housekeeping, that found my wife's 'Beats' headphones after we had left them in the room and posted them as we live in London. They arrived the following day. Excellent service! Merry Christmas James & Zara

Amazing hotel. Only booked one night here as I was going to my works Xmas party and needed to be up early the next morning for changes in the store, so happy I picked here as it was much better than I expected. Have never been to a hotel before that actually has room service. Lovely bathroom, massive TV and 2 lovely large beds. You know its a good hotel when they have "The White Company" products as there bathroom toiletries. If I ever need to book a hotel in Birmingham again this is going to be my first pick from now on.

  • 3/5 Rupert B. 9 months ago on Google
A nice room and a decent breakfast but they are extremely wasteful. The toilet roll is replaced as soon as you are half way through it even though a spare is provided. There was a bottle of water in my room, I drank about half of it, when I got back to my room it had been taken away and not replaced. The domestic staff use the passenger lifts to transport cleaning and bedding trollies, making it take a long time to get anywhere.

Brilliant hotel for visiting Birmingham. Tram outside is brilliant and provides quick links to New Street station. We could hear some very faint noise from clubs but otherwise very good. We all slept soundly and the beds are very comfortable. Even with the cricket being on and concert visitors staying there was no disruption from guests.

Last minute change of hotel this one was closer to the arena and tram stops right outside, we thought we'd walked into wrong hotel 4* for the price we paid bargain. Reception was busy but we were booked in quickly, very clean throughout and decorated to a high standard. Room was large two double beds and still plenty of room, large bathroom with power shower. Tea and coffee and water in room plus a coffee machine complete with pods. Will definitely stay again

Nice rooms, clean and comfy beds. Bathroom was clean and nice showers. No spare loo rolls though, nay have been an oversight. Breakfast was very good, had the normal full English but everything was well cooked and cleanly presented. Staff were very friendly in the Breakfast restaurant. Check-in was a bit of " I cant be asked" sorry Dave, night manager. No welcome, was more of I'm busy doing something else. Never once looked up at us. We wanted to add Breakfast he was like you can add it in the morning, we were like can we do everything now and pay now. Again came across as too much to ask. That check in experience and no extra loo roll was the reason not 5☆

5 out of 5 on all fronts! The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was delicious! Was on the 15th floor with a lovely view over the canals. No noise just the window on the outside. The reception team helped me with an email direction from the train station to the hotel. Will definitely book again! Thank you!

Rooms were lovely although paper thin, pop world is right opposite and the club is booming music until 2am and I could hardly sleep for the trams, not the hotels fault. On arrival the queue was nearly out the door with 2 staff on check in! we noticed we had no remote control in the room so back to the lengthy queue at reception. Second day we went out, came back and the card no longer worked to get in our room, so back to the massive queue again 🤦‍♀️

We stayed the night to go and see Elton John on he Farewell Tour (which was amazing!!). The hotel was super convenient, just a 7 min walk, and other than being really busy for the concert was excellent. Lovely big room, an excellent shower, a tasty, well stocked breakfast and friendly staff. Not 5 stars because of really slow lifts, half were out of action and poor coffee machine. Maybe I'm being picky 🤣🤣

Amazing breakfast, lovely staff, rooms super clean and comfortable. Honestly this hotel deserves to be 5 stars. Easy check in and check out. Free drinks at the entrance and rooms. Very well located. Short walking from train station. Deserves 5 stars Superb TOP

Stayed for 3 nights, good size room. Very comfortable bed, large very powerful shower. Breakfast ok for a buffet. Everything very clean. I wasn't bothered not to have the room serviced daily, but thought there should be a central point where you could get more teabags etc and clean cups.

The hotel was lovely to stay at, the beds were comfortable and the room was very spacious. The location for me personally wasn't the best but that was because I don't know Birmingham but it wasn't a very long walk until you get to the city centre. The breakfast was very nice, buffet style as always but they had a good selection and 2 hot food serving counters to stop those pesky lines so that was some good thinking. There is a Costa coffee on site as well if your not into alcohol like myself, overall very pleasant.

Having only experienced Jurys inn in London this one if far better. The staff is most welcoming and approachable. Rooms are much more spacious and bathrooms are lovely and modern. The area the hotel is located in is not the greatest but hotel itself is great

Rooms looking tired and brown. Bathroom needs updating. Breakfast was good and staff were brilliant. Over the weekend there were lots of hen parties and the door men are on hand to check visitors are correct when returning back to hotel late at night. The night before chow mein or something else! along the corridor the next morning but not the fault of the hotel. Just feel it needs to be revamped and updated as it looks tired now. Good amenities around as its centre to the city. Not great views but good location

Absolutely perfect beds - just like sinking into a cloud! Wonderful showers - so powerful you can't even turn them onto the max! Clean, modern, spacious, comfortable rooms. Air conditioning that works. Excellent breakfast choice and quality. Only downside was check in, where staff were talking between themselves without acknowledging the increasing queue of people waiting to check in. It's always helpful to simply explain that there will be a short delay - just an acknowledgement to the people waiting would have made all the difference. Overall though this hotel is streets ahead of its competitors and I'd definitely prefer to stay here when visiting Birmingham!

Walked into hotel and was amazed at how beautiful the lobby was. The reception staff where fantastic and very helpful. Room was very clean and just right. They even have a gym which is free to paying customers who book with them. Reasonable price to stay the night, only 10 minutes from avenues and clubs. Would definitely recommend this hotel and can't wait to stay again.

Good location, nice staff, room wasn't fully cleaned (toilet being one of them) but it was a decent sized room. I think we could hear people talking from other rooms during the night but wasn't disturbed by passers by on broad Street which was pretty good! But could hear vehicles beeping through the night. All in all, I would probably sleep here again if we had plans on broad Street/brindley place for the cost.

Very good value for money hotel, the staff were very polite and friendly. The rooms were extremely clean and very stylish. The quality of the breakfast could be improved but the services was great. Demarco the breakfast manager was a very nice guy who was brilliant at his job.
