Booked this place last minute for my sister and I and did not hold out too much hope. I was however in for a surprise, from stepping in I knew I had made the right choice. Lindaโ€™s warm genuine welcome was everything and I think she is a great asset to the hotel. She was at breakfast and her personality is everything, she is a very good reason for me to return. The accommodation is great, the kitchenette has a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, hob, kettle, crockery etc. the view from our room (7th floor) was amazing. The room was very clean and the shower is huge! Bathroom was very clean, has heated rails. This hotel and staff exceeded our expectation. Breakfast was great, the quality of food was top notch and it was not rowdy, variety at breakfast was good and Linda made it pleasant nothing was too much trouble. The young lady Ari at breakfast was attentive, polite and quite helpful. The cold refreshing drink at reception during check in was great. The location is quite central, short walk to the bullring shopping centre and the train station. Lots of places to eat and drink within 5 minutes walk. I definitely will visit again. Every establishment should have someone like Linda!

The room is clean and cozy. Much more spacious than I expect. The facilities are well maintained. We early checked in and was received by Linda who is super friendly and welcoming. She kindly informed us everything we needa know. And the warm welcoming makes your stay in this service apartment/hotel more comfy. The bed is just perfect to me. The utensils are clean and tidy. Will definitely choose Adagio if I come back to bham

I stayed here for more than a month during my transition moving from the US to the UK. We chose the hotel because it was pet friendly. The staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. When my husband caught COVID, Linda went above and beyond and gave us supplies. The room was just what we needed. The Internet was extremely fast and the windows were nearly 100% sound-proof. The location is situated between the coach station and the train station, and just a block away from the Bullring shopping centre. We enjoyed our stay at Adagio.

Travelled here to test out the aparthotel experience in Birmingham, exceeding expectations. Upon early arrival, we were greeted by Linda who fell over herself to make sure we had everything we needed, taking care of our luggage before check-in later in the day, the process for which was seamless. We went for a studio apartment which was positioned with a nice view to check out the hustle and bustle of the bull ring before venturing out. All utensils were readily available and even a dishwasher with dishwasher tablets, which was very welcome! The bed was slightly uncomfortable but this was about the only fault we could find with the place, great value for money and will be returning.

About 250 metres from Bullring. "In what other way can I help you" was the constant question of the workers. They were simply fantastic in helping whilst smiling. Linda was exceptional. Had a wonderful experience.

One of the nicest, friendliest reception service I've received. Linda is simply lovely and single handedly (with great attitude) brings this place up to 5 stars. Fresh, clean water at reception is also a bonus. The location is ideal being only a few minutes from the centre. The rooms (I've been to 2 now) are always very spacious and clean. The beds despite being sofa beds are really comfortable, the same cannot be said about the pillows which are very thin, thankfully there are additional ones in the cupboard. The room I have stayed at most recently had a shower in which the water wasn't going down quick enough (clogged up pipes?) But this is a minor nitpick. All in all, very recommended.

Staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly- it really makes a difference, especially if youโ€ve had a long journey to Birmingham. The room was clean and spacious for my needs. The room was also soundproof- I heard no noise from any other rooms. Perfect location for shopping and train. Iโ€™ll definitely be back and will recommend it to all my friends in Canada.

Me and my partner stayed here Friday night so we were close for a concert at the 02 Institute. (Which is a minute or 2 down the road) I can't fault the place. Friendly staff, comfy bed, amazing shower, no noises from any direction, warm, absolutely spotless, good price. We loved it and will definitely be going back. Would highly recommend!

The check in and check out process were an absolute nightmare! We arrived at midnight, and there were 6 people waiting to check in ahead of us. We ended up waiting 30 minutes for our turn!! The staff was very apologetic and offered us an upgraded room and free breakfast but that didn't do much as we were staying only one night and usually don't eat breakfast... Check out was also painfully slow. As when I checked in they actually took the deposit from my account (rather than a bank imprint) they had to have staff go and check the room to confirm they could return the money to my account. The staff looked confused that a bank imprint wasn't taken. The room looked good and clean overall.

Clean, comfortable and well equipped small apartment. Stayed for 6 nights. Handy for the Bull Ring, markets and stations. Location is not that pretty presently (thats because of the Digbeth/city revamp). Good double glazing kept the room surprisingly quiet. Staff are lovely, especially Linda who is a star. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for accommodation in central Birmingham.

The hotel is in a really good location with walking distance to many places. The room was well sized, equipped and furnished. All of the staff that I interacted with were lovely and super helpful.

Really nice stay here. Our apartment had a big walk-in shower, fridge freezer, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, wide-screen tv, and very comfy beds. Everywhere in the hotel was clean and well maintained. Huge selection available at the breakfast buffet. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay at The Adagio next time we're in Birmingham.

Pleasantly surprised, better than the holiday inn my colleagues were in. Full kitchen, fridge etc in the studio with coffee machine and pods. Friendly staff at check-in and simple check out (drop key cards in a box). Breakfast buffet was good, didn't make full use of it but plenty there.

Stayed here to attend a gig. The receptionist, Linda, couldn't have been more friendly. She seemed genuinely interested in me and my stay. The apartment was lush, immaculately clean and so well equipped. The hotel it's self was really welcoming and well equipped with gym, breakfast room and vending machines. Overall, fabulous stay. If I could find one fault, it would be the bed was a bit hard but I think that's personal taste do don't let that put you off

Great hotel. Apartments are very well equipped with all utensils. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great - lots of choice. The talian lady taking care of it is very nice and welcoming. The place is a bit dodgy - when exiting the hotel, turn right and go towards the bull ring - avoid turning left as you will end up in an old industrial area with crumbling buildings in between construction sites. The hotel's got a deal with the car park next door 5min walk away.

Great aparthotel. Good location to walk into centre of Birmingham. Very friendly and helpful service and a good breakfast selection. Apartment well designed and immaculately clean. We didn't use them but there is a 24 hour gym and landry on-site. Would definitely use again.

I stayed for 5 days and I was pleasantly surprised with the location and amenities. It was nice and clean, WiFi was fast. Very close to a bunch of restaurants that you can walk to. The kitchen was a nice addition with everything you may need if you decide to cook (pots, kettle, knives and forks). It was my first time staying at an Aparthotel but now I will make sure to look if it's in an area I am staying in the future!

Freezing freezing freezing. I informed reception about cold rooms that the heating isn't blowing much heat and it's really cold especially for the little child. Was advised maintenance approved it and that we have similar issues with most customers and all rooms are the same nothing can be done about it. Apartment has good layout decent furniture. Tiny tv, 2 tea bags, cold temperature. Not a good stay for anyone with children

Never normally leave reviews but felt I had to. The service from all the staff was great, especially front desk and Sally who looked after us at breakfast. What a lovely woman. An absolute credit to you. Stayed for 2 nights whilst down for work and room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again if Iโ€™m ever in Birmingham ๐Ÿ˜Š

Please be warned the car park 3 minutes away is closed from 10pm - 6am, just in case you are going out of town at night or would like to retrieve anything from your vehicle. However, great facilities in the room to be able to self cater, including free milk and coffee. Food and necessities available 24 hour at reception, along with feeling secure from only being allowed in the building via your room key. Room was very clean and spacious. Location is only 3 minutes walk from shopping centre and car park.

Really central location Good apartments with all essentials Blandina was super helpful with our booking and for doing our upgrade. Linda was very friendly and went out of her way to book us a taxi to Liverpool for a great rate. Very secure location.

Great location as it's within walking distance of the Bullring. Seems to have everything you need for your stay, breakfast, fitness centre and laundry room. The rooms are quite comfortable. I would definitely stay here again when next I'm in Birmingham.

10-15 minute walk from New Street Station. We were a party of 17. Check-in was easy. Two lifts, building and lift accessible only by key card which were issued once you check-in, so safe for lone guests. Spacious rooms had kitchen, with fridge, microwave, kettle etc. Bathroom, with shower, was clean and towels provided. Lounge area had double sofa bed, side table, desk and TV. Double bedroom with wardrobe, tv and bedside tables. There was plenty of storage. Reception staff were friendly and very helpful. Would recommend.

Stayed here twice. The first time was really nice but the second time had me reconsidering it. The location is perfectly bang in the city centre around the hustle and bustle of Birminghams shoppers which is awesome so no need to catch any Ubers. Customer service experience was smooth; easy check in and check out with no hassle. Rooms were huge which consisted of a small kitchen area, a really large bathroom and a spacious walkway plus sleeping area. The negative which suddenly put me off staying again- I felt the bed was too solid for my liking and the room was very stuffy!! Not sure if it was the AC but I tried everything, it wasn't helping. Stayed 1 night and woke up feeling horrible. I might look at something else next time but with the same facilities. Also to note there was a sudden deposit charge (which was explained by the lady at the desk) of ยฃ100 for any loss, theft or damages whilst I was staying here but it wasn't in the booking information when booking my stay which was odd.

Very nifty! The fact the rooms are one bedroom self contained apartments are great! You can cook In your room and everything! Shower was a great size too plus it's close to everything and they subsidise your parking too so you pay just a fiver for a full night and days stay. Highly recommended

I was amazed by the quality and facilities in the room. It was very comfortable and had everything I needed. The first night of my stay it was raining so i took advantage of the facilities and eat in my room. Being able to purchase food and drink in the lobby was perfect. The lovely lady at reception helped me through the process and sent me back to my room with plenty of food and a couple of beers. I had a pleasant night in. Thanks. P.

Excellent location, nice people, lovely rooms. 3 minute walk from the bullring and the church, and from the fruit & veg market (closes at about 17.00) Nice sized room, with a full kitchenette including a medium sized fridge and a dishwasher. Large bathroom, good water pressure at the shower (loved it) even the shampoo was nice. I like to sleep with the window open to get some fresh air, but the back alley (don't expec4 any views :) had a garbage collection every morning at around 4.00am. If you can sleep with your window shut, or just get a room on a different wing, you have the full package at a very reasonable price. We didn't try the breakfast. Certainly recommended

Location was super easy. Room was small but very well done. All you'd need/expect to be provided for an apartment with a kitchen. Good microwave. Only one fill length mirror and the soap could have been nicer but that's the most I could complain about. Staff were all super.

I stayed at the Adagio while working in the city for 6.5 weeks. The staff were brilliant, really friendly, attentive and nothing was an issue for them. They were always there to assist if required and made it a really welcoming and comfortable place. There was always some available to assist or greet you when you came in. Location It is easy to reach New Street Station (although uphill) and when trains were not running there were plenty of bus stops nearby. I thought the location was great for what I needed. The only downside is outside the hotel, I found that the area seemed to have a high homeless population, with some who would like to drink on the steps opposite reception entrance. The street outside, especially on weekends, was littered badly and the smell of urine on the street outside in the mornings (when it was particularly hot) was quite overpowering. This is nothing really something the hotel have control over but if you are staying here for a long period, something to be aware of as at night it did feel a little unsafe when heading back. Breakfast - on the one occasion I had breakfast I found the buffet options to be decent and the food pretty good. The breakfast room was bright and airy. The Room - was a decent size for one person, it did need a few paint touch ups but was fine and no issue really. It was equipped well with enough that I could prepare meals with, although a toaster would have been good to have, although I can understand why there wasn't one in the kitchen. I would definitely use the Adagio again for a long work stay as the rate was reasonable, facilities good and staff lovely.

Very nice little apartments. Never stayed at an apartment hotel before so was a nice change. Greeted by a very friendly receptionist, hotel is well laid out. Rooms are a good size, tho needed a few paint touch ups and a new light bulb in places. Bedroom was nice, great big windows but I'll come on to the view after, bed was a bit uncomfortable though. All in all a good hotel. Plus points - very close to bullring and all the chain restaurants and bus station, lovely service and a good price. Bad points - had to pay a ยฃ100 deposit which wasn't mentioned during booking, view from the bedroom windows would have been good were it not for the incredible amount of litter and roadworks everywhere! Never seen so much litter and graffiti in one place! To sum up, if you're heading to Birmingham to go to the bullring or have a destination to visit then it's a great place to stay. However if you're intending to walk around and prefer your cities litter free and well maintained then try somewhere else
