Overall, I had a good experience. The hotel has free parking which is the only reason why I booked here. The hotel is located in a quiet area, near Birmingham University campus. There's also a pretty park and river not far from the hotel. I've travelled a lot and I have to say I've never slept on a more comfortable hotel bed with the comfiest pillows. However, on my last night I noticed that there were blood specks on my duvet cover. I won't post pics as I don't want to gross you out. Someone from reception came up immediately, changed the cover and apologised. That night, the fire alarm was also malfunctioning, it went off 4 times. Other than that, my stay was fine. I didn't eat at any of the restaurants so can't comment on this.

Staff is really nice ... Although reception could may b explain where the lifts for the bedrooms are ...as they're not very clearly signposted (we only noticed the sign on our last day!) It would save them the hassle of catching you in the first lift, which is the one to conferences and get quite annoyed with you for getting in the wrong lift!!! Apart from that it is an exceptional place. The choice of various breakfasts is incredible. The bedrooms are super comfy, clean, and quiet. The rest of the staff throughout the hotel were amazing and so helpful. (Always with a smile!) We assumed the girl on reception when we first arrived was having a bad day as everyone else was great!

Excellent modern hotel recommend by family when on business. Excellent service and spotless accommodation. Second floor room was well equipped and very, very quiet. We will use again when next visiting Birmingham.

I went on a Sunday and it was fairly quiet. About a 10-15 minute walk from the train station but easy to get to. The house opened at midday so I walked around the gardens, which were lovely! The staff were really friendly and helpful! If you have a student art pass card you can get free entry on the door! The house was gorgeous. There was lots of really interesting information which didn’t try to make light of how the family got their money and also the drama of the house!

We just stayed one night here. Staff is friendly and did try to accommodate our early check-in request. It went terribly wrong. We were given a disabled room whose bathrooms were unusable. They did try to change the room and it wasn't available until the regular check in time. We had travelled 9 hours at that point and just needed a place to crash. They even gave us a £6 courtesy coupon which was a nice gesture. I just felt that some of their staff needed to push themselves a little bit more to make things happen. There is free parking on left and right of the main building. Additional parking is in a multi-story which is less than a minutes walk from the main building. The property is part of the University group.

Clean and tidy room. Bed was very comfortable, friendly staff. Didn’t have dinner here but breakfast was decent with a wide selection to choose from included in our stay. Good value and location outside of the city centre. The car park is fairly small. Would stay again if in the area.

We stayed there for almost two weeks. Rhoda was very helpful. She provided us with a local map and was always friendly attentive and helpful. Room service was very efficient. The room was warm.

The hotel is right in the heart of The University of Birmingham. It appears to be quite modern, clean, and bright. The rooms are all fairly modern and very clean. There is a large parking structure about 200 meters away (multi-story car park - hotel guests use ground floor). Overall the service is what you would expect from a modern hotel. The grounds are gorgeous with lots of greenery. Would definitely recommend if visiting the campus.

Lovely hotel on a budget. Great for work functions, wouldn't be my first choice to go for a romantic getaway. Mainly business guests, quite corporate. Rooms were modern and clean, beds were very comfortable. I had a great nights sleep. The hotel was situated in the University grounds, which was odd, but it was a lovely area. Good central location, only 10mins from the train station.

Did not stay buy had a company dinner here. Portions were tiny and the food was vile. I have never had such bad fish in my life. There were people walking around tables openly urging people to gamble. A strange experience.

We got married at Horton Grange, Edgbaston Park Hotel on Friday 24th Feb 2023. From the moment we walked into the venue to view it as a possibility we fell in love with everything the venue had to offer, and you didn't disappoint. Laura was amazing with communication all the way leading up to the wedding date and was very helpful with any queries i had, along with helping keeping my nerves calm before the big day. Then the team working on the day lead my Mihan were brilliant. Everything ran smoothly and was perfect just as we had planned. All our guests commented on the food with how nice it was and how good the portion sizes were. I wish we could do it all again and if we did i would definitely choose to do it at The Horton Grange, Edgbaston park hotel all again. All the staff we dealt with were so lovely and made sure everyone had the best day which they and we did, thank you. Thanks so much again to Laura and all the team for giving us the most perfect day.

Room was clean tidy and professional, breakfast was so so good, all staff were polite and it is very business people hotel but it makes it calmer in the mornings less children.

The staff were excellent. The receptionist Kellie was lovely she went above and beyond for me. I had an operation scheduled for 9.15am at the Q E Hospital and booked a taxi well in advance. When the taxi didn't arrive Kellie made sure she rang the taxi company to ensure I got it just in time for my operation.

The hotel is a good hotel, clean and very friendly. Only issue was that they didn’t have my booking on the system when I arrived but that was easily resolved.

Absolutely perfect hotel and conference centre. Lovely and clean. Great bar (with some different options on tap you don't normally see) and also great food in a really good location!

Visiting from London and had a wonderful time at Edgbaston. In the heart of a beautiful neighbourhood and not too far from amenities. Rooms were decent, hotel was clean and nicely laid out, food was decent as well. Even saw a fox! 🦊

We recently organized a conference with over 100 attendees at Edgbaston Park Hotel and had an excellent experience. The staff are very professional and provided prompt support on various requests. The conference space is very nice and the hotel staff did a great job with daily setup. Highly recommend this place to host your event or conference.

The place was lovely with quick and caring service. Calls on landlines, data, and direct network calls, however, could not go through because of signal issues on that location. They shared WiFi that helped to connect quickly. Hence 5 stars.

What a lovely hotel and conference centre. It has a great bar. Great staff and it is all very clean and looks brand new! A nice little gem in Birmingham.

Liked · Lovelg staff ! Very friendly and welcoming. Great hotel in midst of the university. I had quick access to conference af uni while my family stayed at the hotel. All necessary amnesties provided. Wished was given a room with a bath rather than standing shower for a relaxing bath after a long drive and day at the conference. Breakfast was ABSOLUTELY GREAT! never had such a great variety at a hotel in England. Full english breakfast and lots more deli and nutella ! High chair provided for my 8 month old. Great table service too at the breakfast lounge. Bar was good with cosy lounge opposite. Bar staff provided us with ice, glass , plates and cutlery for our takeaway we had in our room. Disliked · Standard size double bed , felt a bit small but was very comfortable. No halal food at the hotel restaurant unfortunately.

For a four star hotel I was expecting quite a lot, and they did not let me down. The first thing you notice is the smell in the reception area, it creates a great ambiance. Good food, clean room and comfortable bed. Staff very efficient and friendly, yes will definitely come here again.

Rooms were very tidy and the entire building was kept clean and professional. Breakfast with the room was lovely, full English buffet with fruit, cereals and plenty of teas and coffees. Staff were very friendly and would always have a mask on to keep in with health and safety guidelines. Overall a great experience

Lovely big clean rooms/bathrooms! Very helpful staff! We were there for an event so out for the most of the time but the hotel bar had a great vibe! The breakfast was good, delays in bringing food due to a busy wedding period! Also one of the family members had booked a family room with a sofa bed, there was no sofa bed, it was a folding bed which was very uncomfortable to sleep on! They were given another room to rectify this. Provided feedback on their absolutely rubbish toilet roll holders, the roll kept coming off every time we tried to use it.

Stayed here for a few nights with work. The room was great, comfy bed, nice temperature, good facilities. The food however was a very mixed bag, I had a very nice salmon salad on the first day, and a nice lunch with tuna steak. But I also had a soup which was ridiculously salty, and my colleague ordered a steak which was overcooked (she returned it and they gave another overcooked steak 25 minutes later!)

A fantastic hotel on the University of birmingham campus. They have great facilities, all the meeting areas have big windows and natural light. The gardens are developing and very pretty and the food is excellent. The vegan options are varied, well seasoned and very well executed. Best hotel food I've had in a decade!

We booked this based on other reviews and sadly, were slightly underwhelmed. The actual hotel is beautifully laid out, with pleasant décor and seemed clean throughout. It is just made more for business meetings or functions; this was a romantic trip away for the bank holiday weekend and the whole vibe of the hotel came across as too clinical & bland. However, the staff (particularly at breakfast) were friendly & helpful, our room was fairly spacious & clean too. Unfortunately, the pasta at dinner was overcooked, with too much sauce & the meatballs tasted like they'd come out of a tin! We probably wouldn't stay again, despite it being situated in a lovely quiet area and having free car parking.

What a hidden gem this hotel is. Whether in a standard room or in a deluxe in one of the nearby houses. Beautiful gardens and fabulous conference facilities. Thank you Money for showing me around. You are right to be proud!

Excellent hotel. So modern and clean and all the ameneties you can ask for. Breakfast was superb, rooms very high end, and the staff are lovely. Definately would go back.!

The main hotel building is nice but the separate building with deluxe rooms (hornton grange) needs some TLC if they want to host events at the price they're asking. There were scuffs/marks on the walls and floor and dirty curtains. The bedrooms are lovely but the communal areas not so. Looks like there's no on-going maintenance since it was built.

Attended for a function in one of the conference rooms. Hotel looks wonderful. Reception area was welcoming, clean and modern. Lunch area was also clean. The only downside for us was we couldn't find anywhere to park. Otherwise overall lovely morning out.

An indredibly modern hotel in a lovely part of birmingham, slightly away from the hussle and bussle of the city centre. We had a wedding there, any all of our guests were praising how nice the rooms were, and an excellent breakfast! They also have some 'feature' rooms (can't exactly recall the name) which are in the beautiful traditional buildings neighbouring the main hotel. Absolutely fantastic. 5* service by all staff encountered. Highly recommend to business travellers and/or those who want it a bit of luxury not at great expense.

Nice location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had an afternoon tea. Coffee was really bad, so weak. Sandwiches all slightly stale. Cakes on vegan cream tea (apart from carrot cake) we're really bad, I would describe them as claggy. Really wouldn't recommend or go again. Sorry.

Modern hotel with modern clean, comfortable rooms, good in room facilities with water/coffee/iron etc. which I needed for a change!! Enjoyed my stay! Only parking was a challenge! It really is first come first served many non-EV cars parked in EV bays!

Lovely modern designed hotel. Comfortable rooms, nice location, attentive & accommodating staff🤗. Breakfast was standard, hot & fresh🥘 . Always nice to book this hotel, the only thing I find is that most of the rooms I’ve stayed in so far don’t have windows that open😔. The bar area is a peaceful & relaxing place to just sit and chill out, no mater what time it is 🕰️ . Even if you’re not a guest, you can go to use the bar area and even have breakfast there and best of all, parking is free👍🏼 Thank you everyone for yet another memorable night stay, keep up the great work🤗

We had our wedding here on 19th November 2022 and stayed in the bridal suite. The team were amazing, professional and friendly. The rooms were immaculate, the standard rooms are also a good size and guests were happy. The food was amazing and breakfast the following morning was great- a wide variety. Laura, Ashley, Natalia, Chef and team - THANK YOU! Jo and John.

I stayed for a conference and was extremely impressed with the level of attention and care provided by the team. There was a wedding on and care was taken to make sure it didn't disturb the other guest with music turned down at appropriate times, doors kept closed etc. I had the feeling when I stayed that staff were well trained. It was exceptionally clean and several team members went out of their way to make my life easier. I would strongly recommend to others and would like to thank the individuals for all the little things that made my stay special. I would recommend to others.
