Worst hotel I've ever been in. Can't believe it there was blood spots on the mattress sheets. Mattress was disgusting. Staff are horrible. Don't ever go there. Not even worth a star.

0 Stars this place really should not be allowed for anyone and the Birmingham council have the nerve to put my children and babies in this dump think again this place is utter disgrace and shameful the should be close to And put in prison as they out family health as high risk. This is unacceptable and further action will be taking place for the people who come Aross this place report it and put it on public view thank you for nothing and trying to put my 9 month year old son with breathing problems in danger and my daughter with eczema. It mole all over the sealing, very nasty dead smell as if some is die in the room. πŸ”₯🀬πŸ₯΅πŸ˜‘πŸ€―πŸ˜πŸ˜’πŸ‘ŽπŸΎ

This place is horrible I would rather of slept in a tent room smelt like sick. Kept getting bitten every night. I'm sure a torture camp would be more clean and comfortable

I wouldn't give this a star at all. Appalling the council put families in here. MPs of local areas need to stay in this place themselves and see if they deem it fit for any civilised family.

Although missing some of the basics, such as a lock or even a handle on the bathroom door, curtains that actually fit the beautiful window, and a wardrobe that doesn't lean on you everytime you open it, it was okay. Very run down rooms. And currently undergoing renovations. But the staff, esp the 2 gentlemen on the front were great. No job was too big or small. Huge car park (free) and rooms were a decent size. Furniture requires upgrading, but room contained fridge, microwave and kettle! Handy location too.

Smithys hotel is the worst hotel in the world. I never seen a hotel that dirty, the staff very rude, rooms very dirty ( carpet was burned, holes in walls, beds dirty and had bed bugs). I don't understand how this hotel can still be open I would like to see if people who work for BCC would sleep at this hotel at least once. That was my experience with smithys hopefully never again

Considering how many guests they have to deal with I think it's a great place doing great work yeys to keep place well and do offer alot of help breakfast is given if needed cleaning is maintained also doing a good job taking in the homeless for local council bound to have some issues but that's due to the volume of people it takes in will have a wear n tear on it but overall can't complain plus does keep people safe and well looked after
