The best part of the experience staying at Our city apartments- is leaving!!! What a horribly maintained place. Will not be returning again. It’s best feature is that it is next to the train station and very central, but that is where the good things stop. Came here for a worktrip and stayed a couple of days: the passive aggressive ‘welcome pack’ aside, the property was not particularly clean the internet was dreadfully slow it was practically not functional (0.9mbs). Also, the central heating was not working for the whole duration of the stay. What else you may ask? The shutter was not opening so I could not let light in, on the flip side, there is a huge John Lewis LED screen outside the window so your room turns into a light show at night! In addition, the window doesn’t open properly either so I could not let much fresh air in. The biggest and WORSE thing though is that the walls and ceiling are PAPER thin- you are completely at the mercy of your upstairs neighbors when it comes to sleeping. Every step they take you can hear it very loudly. Literally got 4 hours of sleep each night for as long as I was there. I kept getting interrupted by random people that wanted to do work in the appartment. 5 times over two days by people wanting to get into the property to check various stuff- UNACCEPTABLE! You should have done this before I checked in! What is more, when the property was contacted about all these issues they made NO apologies and said they will be offering NO compensation even though their premises are mediocre at best and not what is advertised. Due to all of the above I sadly say that I will never stay here again and strongly suggest people reading this dont either. Amazingly central location, but I will not be returning again. The lights from New Street station made it feel like the middle of the day in the middle of the night, that's even with the blinds down. There was what seemed dog hair all over my bedding, the hot water was cold, the radiators hissed all night, meaning I had to sleep in the cold, or not sleep at all. The floorboards of the apartment above were squeaky, meaning you won't get any sleep, until the people above you go to sleep.

Been a nice experience, staying here. With the exception of the Sun parking up outside the room at night! Sleep mask would be the only advisory I have if light bothers you, though it may be just that my blinds don't close fully. Beyond that, you get pleasant facilities, a quiet enough room and good space. Really a nice place to sleep and local to the Bullring.

The images are incredibly missleading...they give the impression of a luxury apartment, which these certainly aren't! They are very basic, outdated and worn. The only reason for 2 stars rather than 1 is because the location is unbeatable for the city centre! I only stayed 1 night and was comfortable enough, but could imagine I'd be pretty annoyed if I had to stay there any longer.

Absolutely awful apartment. Booked this for a weekend away with my boyfriend and planned to cook for him....the cutlery that came with the apartment was dirty - not to mention things were missing. I had to go out and buy a potato masher. The bins were full when we got there and the toilet was broken. I wished I had just stayed home for the weekend! Would not recommend!

Awful. Cancelled my booking on the night of arrival with no warning- claimed my card was declined but was perfectly fine. No assitance or notice. When I called to rectify issue they hung up and then said they were fully booked. Leaving me to pay double the price on a last minute room somewhere else.

Just 1 cross to Birmingham New Street Station. Very spacious, great kitchen equipment for cooking. Got lift and laundry. Unknown wifi password maybe need ask help for hotline

Great location, right outside of Birmingham New Street station. There not the poshest apartments, but good functional apartments at an excellent price.
