Food was great and so are the servers. Felt like I was back in time with this place it was cool

Super fun diner and very friendly staff!! The food was good and portions were great. My breakfast sandwich was a little extra toasty and my biscuits and gravy was a little cooler than I’d prefer but the flavors on both were great! I’d definitely stop in again!

Stopped in for a burger & this reminded me of watching happy days. This is all home made food great burgers…and the Reuben was amazing and to top it off my mom had the strawberry shake and she loved it..moms comment was this takes her back to what the diners were in the 50’s when she was growing up. Don’t bother with Applebees or any Other nuke ur meal franchise stop here grab a meal and enjoy.

An authentic retro diner complete with checkered floors & colourfully decorated tiled walls. Food was awesome & plentiful. Staff was courteous & attentive.

Loved the Grand Diner. Friendly and fast service, they actually seemed to know a lot of the customers by name but treated us just as well. We had breakfast dishes; the pancake breakfast for myself and the veggie skillet for Mr. Both were served hot and perfectly to order. If you find yourself in the Northville-Vida area, it's definitely a great place for meal.

A classical American diner. Stopped by here for breakfast and it was a good one. Tasty selections, fast service and a cool atmosphere. You are not ripped off for what you got, too. Great place!

A great way to go back in time and enjoy some wholesome dining . The atmosphere is a fun one and definitely worth the time to stop by for a nice meal, any time of day. It’s very clean and the staff is fantastic! It is small so they easily and promptly pick up on your needs. Need some more napkins, you are covered or running low on water, you are covered. This time we stopped in for Slim Jim’s. Now I have had them in other places. I’d describe it more rustic, hand carved ham, large sliced tomato. The bun was not squished. Over all a great sandwich. You can find a great variety from breakfast to dinner. The chocolate shakes looked amazing. The staff is what a restaurant should be. Very kind and and friendly. It was my first time there but will not be my last. Just so you know, it is a small place so possible slight delay to be seated so be patient for a exceptional dining experience.

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! We came here to visit from Texas and this place is just fantastic! The food is perfect, the portions are huge, and the service is the best you’ll find anywhere. The staff makes you feel welcome and at home. Kim is great! Dominique is so friendly he’ll become your buddy for life. Zach is new and already serving up customers right. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner ….SO good! And do try the amazing biscuits and sausage gravy…wow just so wow.

All the food is excellent, one of the best hamburgers around. Great prices and staff. I've been coming here since 1999.

The Grand Diner is amazing their is tons of beautiful wall decorations, fast service, and you definitely get your moneys worth. They have the best food almost as amazing as the staff they are all very friendly and like to laugh! The food is spectacular with the best bacon, mouth watering hash browns, eggs always cooked perfectly! I could go on and on about how amazing this restaurant is 10 out of 10 recommend it.

My favorite breakfast place. Good coffee with flavored creamers.. really like the oldies playing on the jukebox. Not a lot if seating, gets pretty busy. Best waitress around..

Efficient. Reasonably priced. Large portions. We were very impressed for our first visit. Meat lovers and Greek omelette were excellent. Will definitely return. Worth noting- signage for 45min seating limit time. Wasn't an issue for just my husband and I but may be for others.

Charming and yummy. My husband and I enjoy going out for brunch and having breakfast and, for some mysterious reason, most places can't fix a good and satisfying breakfast. Well.... this diner's the exception. Everything we've had is good but their pancakes are the best! Light, fluffy, tasty and substantial.

Waitress was very friendly and on top of her game. Coffee cup was never empty and she continued to ask us if we needed anything. The country omelette was fantastic and came out quick, nice and hot. The oldies music was just the icing on the cake. Wished I lived closer, but I can’t wait to come back.

This place was nostalgic and fun decor, good service, and solid fundamentals from the kitchen. The diner menu is what you'd expect, but the quality of the food is higher. My burger was awesome. The smothered chicken was still good as leftovers on day 2.

Another recommendation for anyone passing by. Had an amazing experience here! Upon entering the venue. I was greeted and placed in a nice booth. The server was extremely sweet approached. Ordered their special of the day, which was the corned beef hash. Well cooked, great flavors and the potatoes were just RIGHT! Crunchy and not too salty.

We’ve been here for 4 times now and everytime we go we absolutely enjoyed our food and the service of the sweetest server Shawn(hope I spelled it right!) No wonder why this place is always full of people dining in and picking up their food!

Perfect spot for those who love nostalgia, as this is a true dining car restaurant. Been a mainstay. The Novi area for years. Stopped by on a Sunday morning and was able to be seated right away. Weight staff is very attentive and they have a good variety for breakfast selections. Our food was hot and delicious.
